The Vegetal Body Moisturizing Lotion comes in a off white color bottle. It has a flip open cap in the same color. The cap locks real tight, so makes the packaging spill proof and leakage proof. There is every required detail printed on the packaging. I find the bottle packaging more hygienic as compared to jars. 

Direction for use: 

Apply gently all over the body, with special attention to severely dry areas, slowly massaging on it. Best used after bathing when your skin is most receptive to hydration.

My take on the product:

The Vegetal body moisturizing lotion claims to be 100% natural formulation derived from bio active extracts of wheat seed and chamomile. Bio Active is the extract of those active ingredients which are isolated from the Ayurvedic herbs that play a vital role in the treatment or healing of your particular ailment. 

The pearly white color lotion is of sufficiently thick consistency. The lotion is capable of deeply moisturizing the skin without leaving any sheen behind. It spreads very easily on skin and penetrates deep in no time.

I have noticed that it gives best results when applied to slightly damp skin after shower. The excellent absorption quality of the lotion helps to keep the skin hydrated for longer than expected duration. I found that the dry patches n cracks on my skin go invisible post application.

The lotion has a fresh blend of citrusy n floral mix fragrance that I found delightful. The skin is left lightly scented for quite some time after applying a layer. 

The regular use of this soothing lotion is sure to restore skin elasticity and improve texture of skin. This emollient-rich, hydrating body lotion retains moisture preserved in the skin to ensure firm skin, but thankfully causes no greasy feel.

My Experience with the product:
On being introduced by the brand about Everteen Natural Intimate Wipes, I was so impressed with their thoughtful product launch. yeah, I have been using the Everteen Intimate Wash and found it really useful. But I had been wishing for something that can be used when I am pressed for time and is handy enough. I swear Everteen must have anticipated my wish and designed Everteen Intimate Wipes for all women interested in the health and well-being of their intimate area.

I am quite fond of natural home remedies. They have great potential as compared to readymade products and give long lasting benefits. But the problem again is the time to make the right composition of each remedy, because the optimum result can be achieved only when the ingredients are mixed in right proportion.

I was suffering from sun tan on my face and arms, so wanted to get rid of this tough tan and to get glowing and bright skin back using some home remedy. My Experience:
The D-Tan scrub is a dark brown colored powder. The powder seems quite coarsely ground with some rose petals visible in it.  The scrub has lovely aroma that you may smell as soon as you open the container. In the first glimpse of the product, I had a feeling that the granules seen in the scrub will be too harsh to the skin because it is not a fine-milled powder. But since I had been trusting Aroma Essentials for its careful preparation of products, I could not resist myself using it.

This D-Tan scrub is to be mixed with water to make a moderately thick paste out of it. I applied a thin layer of the paste on my face, neck & arms and left it undisturbed for almost 10 minutes until it got dried. I kept smelling like a fragrant flower till it was on my face and even afterwards.

After 10 mins or so, I washed the scrub with cold water gently scrubbing it off like an ubtan. To my sheer surprise, I found the scrub so soft on skin without causing any rashes or irritation. The D-tan scrub gave my skin instant brightening and lightened the skin tone while exfoliating it. I became its fan in very first application and have been using it regularly on severely tanned areas to cure them. The scrub has actually smoothened my skin to great extent due to its natural ingredients. Though the scrub doesn't dry out the skin, but I applied the moisturizer afterwards.

The Bon Organic Exfoliate Soap is till date the best packaged soap bar I have ever come across. I can't stop admiring the eco-friendly packaging by the brand. The soap comes packed in multiple layers. The outer most layer is a handmade sheet in pink color on which all necessary information is printed which holds soap bar beautifully wrapped in a dried leaf and tied with a natural jute string. I felt so wow to see this and opened it curiously to see the soap bar. But then there is another layer of recycled paper in which the soap bar is wrapped.

My take on the product:
The soap is pearly white in color that shows brown spots on it which are actually exfoliating grains embedded in the soap. The soap is smooth on the surface and the grains do not feel before you start using it.

The soap size is quite easy to make a grip than those huge soap bars and I am more comfortable to glide it on the body because of this reason. During the initial usage, the coarse grains don't touch the skin much. The soap lathers quite rich n creamy. I gently rub the skin to rinse it off properly so that there is no sticky feel left behind.

In the subsequent usage of this soap, the grains started highlighting themselves on the surface and felt abrasive on skin without causing any rashes or feel scratchy. I didn't use loofah, but directly rubbed the soap on my skin very softly to let the coarse grains do their job nicely in contact with skin. I am super impressed with the results. The soap works wonder to remove the dead skin from harder skin as well including the joints like elbows, ankles etc.

The skin feels absolutely bright & polished after getting exfoliated. I have used the soap on entire body, but could not dare to scrub on face. The soap has mild fragrance which stays only for the moment. I am perfectly all right even if it doesn't last for hours. There is a rich content of organic oils used in its formulation so even my dry skin felt very smooth and moisturized post shower.

Overall Opinion:

We all are born with healthy and glowing skin and each of us loves to flaunt it at its very best. At the same time, we should not forget that our skin is a living organ that constantly regenerates itself. It simply means that we need to take right care of our skin to maintain and improve its elasticity. But ironically, most of us don't have time to follow certain intensive skin care regimen.

We are lured by expensive cosmetics or other skin care products like creams/lotions/serums that make tall claims of their effectiveness for skin issues, but actually the chemicals in those products hurt the skin even more. And that is why I am a believer in natural home remedies return the lost charm and glow of your skin without spending any money at salons. I am sharing some tried-n-tested Ayurvedic home remedies that work wonders ..

Before you begin practicing any herbal remedies, do no forget to find your exact skin type to avoid exaggerating the problems later.

Exfoliation is also a must-to-do for removing dead skin cells and re-hydrating the thirsty skin. The most affordable face n body scrubs are right there in our kitchens itself. You may use either of some low-cost ingredients like baking soda mixed with water, salt or sugar blended nicely with any vegetable oil, rice flour mixed with milk or ground oatmeal mixed with water as natural scrubber. Salt, sugar, and oatmeal all have granules making them ideal for dead skin removal. But take care that there is no sharper grains to cause skin irritation.

Moisturizing the skin is pretty obvious and it goes for all skin types because the dryness of the skin hinders the beauty and makes you look older than actual age. To moisten the skin to its earnest requirement, simply massage your skin with fresh milk cream to attain moisturized, soft supple skin. Now after you have got soft, supple and glowing skin, you would love to ditch those tanning marks, dark patches, scar marks that are still making your face look dull. Skin lightening is easily approachable using tomato pulp or tomato juice mixed with yogurt. Both of these have mild natural bleach agents and lightens the skin tones with prolonged usage. An easier alternate can be to rub potato slices or apply potato juice on tanned areas. My favourite remedy is to use a mixture of equal quantity of honey and lemon for instant glow because lemon and honey also have bleaching properties.

And now the oldest and most trusted skin care secret from my grandma's treasure.. In good old days, we used to keep a thick paste of turmeric powder, besan and raw unboiled milk in the washroom to use it in place of bathing bars and applied it like today's body scrubs. Occasionally either sandalwood powder or rose water was also added to this paste for an aromatic and pleasant outcome. I felt none less than Queen Cleopatra drenched in the aroma of roses that time ;) I swear of its effects till date, but cannot manage even few minutes for all this at times..

Fuschia Rose Natural Handmade Soap Review

Natural handcrafted soap is a luxurious tool in keeping your skin healthy. With its creamy lather, wonderful fragrance, and now affordable prices, pampering yourself has never felt so good. Its popularity is growing rapidly as a chemical free alternative to conventional soaps.

And when you get to try a purely natural soap that is beautifully scented of crushed rose petals, you cannot miss to boast of awesomeness n luxury added to your bath n body care routine. I like sweet smelling products which give me feminine feel somehow. The rose fragrance is one of them which I find really lovable.  

When I noticed a Rose based Natural Handmade Soap in Fuschia's soap range, I could not resist giving it a try since it looked so glorious. This soap belongs to Designer Soap range of handmade soaps. And you may easily acknowledge why... Just look at the beautifully crafted Red Rose on the pearl white soap.

The soap comes neatly packed in a transparent film, unlike most of Fuschia soaps which have an outer covering of handmade sheet around the soaps and I like the idea of not covering this soap, coz this beauty deserved to be exposed ;)    

The description on the soap bar misses the ingredient list and shelf life which makes me feel low. Because every buyer doesn't access the online info on the site to know about the product details. So I wish the brand should make a point to provide key constituents on the soap bar specifications.

The soap bar gives you a high as you hold it in your hands. Its a softer textured soap than commercially available soaps. The captivating scent of fresh roses prompts you to take a deep breath as you sniff it. My li'l son felt so excited to bathe with this soap that he didn't bother about what time of the day is that ;)
I was curious to test whether this cute red rose will remain fixed within the soap bar after few usage and I am happy to share that after almost 2 weeks of daily usage, it has not even lost its shape :)

The soap produces enough lather and feels creamy soft on skin. I have used the soap on entire body other than face. It makes the skin feel squeaky clean and doesn't take away natural oils from skin. But for my dry skin, I always use a body lotion after the shower. I believe oily to normal skin people may skip moisturizing it.

The soap doesn't melt very quick, but I still take care of giving it a quick rinse and leave it to dry on the soap-dish to make it last longer.

I cannot comment on its effectiveness on common skin disorders as I have no such issues. But it gives a cool soothing feel to itching skin due to sweat etc.

Remember me posting reviews of two great skin care products (here and here) by Vedantika Herbals which is a renowned name  to offer products with highest level of purity without using any chemical preservatives, synthetic colours and fragrances. I was very much impressed with the effects of both the products on my skin. 

Today I tried their Instant Tomato Soup for the first time which claims to be 100% natural and contributing for health and wellness.

Product Info:

A great healthy and low calorie soup. Formulated with fresh tomatoes, garlic, ginger, lemon, salt, black pepper, white pepper, clove, green chilies.

Benefits: 

Tomato is a good source of potassium, Bcarotene (vitamin A) and Vitamin C. Tomato contains large amounts of Lycopene, an antioxidant highly effective in scavenging cancer causing free radicals. It reduces cholesterol and protects the heart. Research shows that it also counters the effect of Cigarette Smoke.

Method to Prepare : To make instant Tomato soup, just mix the contents of the sachet in water and boil it for two minutes.

My take on Tomato Soup by Vedantika Herbals:

Firstly I felt impressed with the choice of paper sachet by team Vedantika for packing the content unlike regular poly packings. The soup is in powder form, packaged in sachets precisely measured for each day’s personal needs. So it also offers convenience to carry. 

As I cut the seal of the sachet, I could smell a strong aroma of clove. The powder doesn't resemble like usual soup powders available in market, rather its a light colored powder looking at which initially you don't feel like getting that bright red colored soup preparation ;)   

But when I mixed the soup powder in water and stirred it properly while boiling on high flame, it came out really nice in color. In the first few sips, my taste buds didn't adjust the taste immediately. The soup tastes a bit tangier, but gradually I started liking the flavour of spices in it specially the taste of clove :) The soup didn't get thicker, so I liked its consistency too.

This soup is also suitable to people who are on weight reducing diets and is a great appetizer. In the first trial only, I have become a great liker of Vedantika's Instant Tomato Soup.

Eeshha Herbal Smudge Free Kajal Review

'Kajrare Naina' is one of the most talked about theme in bollywood songs. Not only celebrities, but every female love darkening her eyelids to make them look more expressive. Kajal is one of the most ancient cosmetic being used by females. Infact in good old days, every mom used to apply homemade surma in her new-born baby's eyes out of the belief that it will make baby's eyes bigger and beautiful.

Now a days, we have plently of brands talking about goodness of their Kajal, but I have experienced that even some very reputed brands may cause itchiness or allergies to eyes. May be they contain harmful lead content.

Today I am reviewing Eeshha Herbal's Smudge Free Kajal which is a special combination of precious licorice, camphor and almond oil for eye makeup :) A special combination of precious herbs and pure Almond Oil for eye make-up. Helps to pamper the skin around the eyes and lends sparkle to the eyes. It won't smudge, smear or fade after application.

My Experience:
Eeshha Herbal Kajal is a stick shaped kajal in jet black color housed in bullet packaging having a transparent cap which lets you see the kajal stick from outside. There is nothing fancy about the packaging, but a decent look. The cap needs extra care to be taken due to its fragile material if you want to keeping this kajal stick in your handbag (as we girls mostly do).

The kajal gave my eyes intense black outline in single stroke itself. But those who love deeper and thicker waterline to be prominently highlighted can swipe the kajal twice or more. The kajal stick glides quite easily and feels smooth. It didn't make my watery eyes feel stingy or irritated even while prolonged application.

I liked the camphor smell in the kajal stick that reminded me of homemade kajal which I appreciate. The tip of the kajal stick comes nicely sharpened to draw precise thin line on waterline initially. But gradually it becomes thicker after multiple applications. I wish there was a compatible sharpener accompanying the kajal stick within the packaging itself ;)

Now, talking about its staying power... I truly didn't expect this kajal to stay longer because most kohls formulated with natural ingredients fade off quite soon. But to my surprise, it stayed more than 5-6 hours without being smudged on my lower waterline. I am happy with the results. However, I can not go by its claim to be "Smudge Free", as it tend to smudge a bit if you apply it in thick lines.

Cons:

* The packaging could have been improved to make the lid tighter or screw cap, so as to make it travel friendly.
* I wish a sharpener could be added to the packaging (may be by adding few more bucks to its price) to ease out the job of drawing a thin line out of kajal.
* Not completely smudge free.

Overall Opinion:
Eeshha Herbal Smudge Free Kajal is a budget-friendly worthy product if you are looking for a chemical-free daily-wear eye makeup. It can perform fair enough to give you crisp precise lines or thick intense lines to brighten your facial looks. For such a inexpensive price, I won't mind buying it again.

So I applied the cream all over my face as well as neck area, which is exposed to all kinds of environmental issues most of the time.
