Eeshha Herbal Anti Acne Neem and Tea Tree Face Wash Review

Skin care regimen must always start with a perfect face cleanser.By 'perfect', I mean a cleanser that is formulated with the ingredients that work on specific skin problems and are categorized for various skin types. Because when we choose a product that is not meant for us and it doesn't match our expectations, its a conflicting situation.

Today I am taking time to tell you about my experience with Eeshha Herbal Anti Acne Neem and Tea Tree Face Wash.

Product Info:
Neem and Tea Tree face wash is suitable for oily skin, helps to cleanse and remove oil. Neem is effective in treating acne, providing soothing and emollient effect making skin healthy and glowing. Tea tree oil is used to give germicidal, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effect.

Ingredients: Glycerin, Dimethicon, Polyquaternium, Alp sebum, Tea tree oil, Neem oil, Coco amido propyl betane, Decyl glycoside.
Price: Rs 135 for 100 ml.
Shelf Life: 3 years.

Usage Instructions:
Moisten your face and neck with water. Take appropriate amount of the face wash and apply all over face and neck with light circular movements using wet fingertips generating lather. Rinse well with plenty of water.

How did I like the product:
Eeshha Herbal Anti Acne Neem and Tea Tree Face Wash comes in a squeeze tube with a flip open cap. The cap is tight enough to avoid any leakage or spillage.

The face wash looks on a brighter side of green color when looked from outside, but as you pour it on your palm its lighter greenish liquid of moderate consistency like most cleansers or face washes. I liked the dark green minute particles in the cleanser which dissolve immediately when you softly rub the facewash between your palms.

The fragrance of face wash has more prominent Neem essence than Tea Tree oil's. I liked the fragrance moderately. The smell doesn't last after you rinse your face. So even if you don't like it much, its not going to bother you. Only a pea-sized liquid foams sufficient to cleanse the face, so a 100 ml packing is expected to last more than a month.

This face wash is meant for Oily Skin as mentioned on the pack, but I gave it a try on my dry skin after thinking few times to check on whether it has any ill effects on other skin types. So my experience says that this Neem and Tea Tree Face Wash causes no skin issues to other skin types than oily one. But I felt my facial skin drier after rinsing it off as if the required moisture is ripped off from the face which made me feel uneasy, so I had to follow it up with a moisturizer to soothe the skin. As far as the purpose of the facewash is concerned, I liked the effective dust removal.

The ingredients of the face wash claim to treat acne. but since I have clear skin with no pimples/acne, I cannot practically support the product claim, however the ingredients like neem n tea tree provide anti-bacterial protection, so I can expect this product to work on the issue for those who are looking for a gentle cleanser to reduce acne.

Pros:
  • Sturdy packaging.
  • Easily available.
  • Economic price.
  • No ill effects on skin.
  • Soothing fragrance.
  • Lathers enough
  • Removes dirt and deep cleanses the skin.
  • Requires very less quantity per usage.
Cons:
Not an appropriate choice for drier skin type.

Eeshha Herbal Anti Acne Neem and Tea Tree Face Wash is a good product for oily skin that stands to battle acne. It didn't fare too well for my skin type, so I won't be repurchasing it for myself. But I am sincerely loving all the products that I have used from Eeshha Herbal product line in past, so would love to try other variants of face washes that would suit my skin.

Eeshha Herbal Cocoa Face & Body Moisturizer Review

Those who have been reading the past reviews done by me on skin care products might be knowing that my dry skin is always thirsty for moisture. So I keep on switching to one or the other moisturizers seeking more hydrating power.

This time I got to try Eeshha Herbal Moisturizer for face as well as whole body enriched with Cocoa, Almond oil and Algae extract.
Product Claims:
The moisturizer contains cocoa butter that works deep and prevents water loss and dehydration, provides flexibility to skin leaving it soft and even toned all the day long. Penetrates deep into the skin; makes it smooth supple by removing roughness. Mineral oil gives lubricant effect, glycerin prevents loss of water from skin preventing dryness; cocoa butter has property of emolliency and retains skin moisture.

Packaging:
The product comes in plastic squeeze bottle with flip-open cap. The hole pierced on the bottle top ejects enough moisturizer in gentle pressurizing. The cap is decently tight.
Price: Rs 135
Quantity: 100 ml
Shelf Life: 3 yrs from the date of Mfg.
Ingredients:
Olive Oil, Almond Oil, Shea butter Blend, Vitamin E, Cocoa Butter, Algae Extract, Isopropyl Myristate,Trehalose, Dimethicon.

Before I should start reviewing the moisturizer, let me tell you that tons of our favourite beauty products are loaded with algae (seaweed) extract and we rarely get to find its mention in ingredients list. Algae extract is said to bring potential benefits for our skin. It can help to restore the glow for a youthful skin by improving cellular energy and vitality. It re-activates the natural protective mechanism of skin to restore healthy function which we lose due to stress and other skin issues.
Directios for use:
Apply moisturizer after shower on body and face to enjoy super fast absorption for long lasting hydrating skin.

My take on the product:
The moisturizer is of moderately thick consistency that stays on your palm without running. Though the usage instructions read that it should be applied immediately after shower, I preferred to use it post-shower on my skin after towel drying it and didn't rinse it to enjoy more moisture. I swear that this light pink hued moisturizer actually is so easy to smear without any extra effort and penetrates into skin very easily and evenly. I quite liked the product because it is too light on skin and leaves no shine on skin. Though the moisturizer doesn't feel greasy or sticky at all, yet it gives the skin ample lubrication for a deeply hydrated feel.

Moving to the hydrating power of Cocoa Face & Body moisturizer, the skin remains soft, supple and glowing for as long as 3-4 hrs. As the summer season progresses, I might have to re-apply it 2-3 times as per the demand of my skin, but the normal skinned beauties would find it enough after single application.

Lets not forget talking about its fragrance... The initial thoughts after reading the key ingredients that have gone into formulation of this moisturizer gave me an impression of chocolaty fragrance. But to my great surprise, the moisturizer doesn't smell like chocolate exactly, but a sweet and somewhat unusual fragrance lingers on body for quite a few hrs.

Pros:
Wonderful Ingredients.
Chemical free.
Smells great.
Deeply hydrates the skin.
Cost effective.
Decent packaging.
Smoothens the texture of skin.
Non Sticky.

Cons
Actually Nothing.

Final Word:
Eeshha Herbal Cocoa Face & Body Moisturizer is a wow product for Normal to Dry skin people and you need not to use different emollients for face and body.

Eeshha Herbal Almond and Apricot Scrub Review

Hi

Today I am reviewing one more product from Eeshha Herbals Personal Care in the Face Care section. The product is Eeshha Herbal Almond and Apricot Scrub. A face scrub is the most wannable product in my facial care kit. Scrubbing helps to remove the dead skin and helps the newer layer of skin to come out. The frequency of using scrub on your skin should be kept as to benefit your skin like once a week. Because excessive  scrubbing may cause our breakouts, redness, irritating pores, or may cause any scars. I prefer scrubbing on weekends when I get some more time for myself. So lets move on to the review..

About Eeshha Herbal Almond and Apricot Scrub:
A natural fruit based scrub exfoliates the skin softly. Cleanses impurities and deep seated dirt preventing microbial action and acne. Cleansing and detoxification is further enhanced by addition of fruit enzymes in this formulation. It further allows production of elastin and collagen in skin cells. Thus provides a younger and healthy looking skin. Removes skin impurities, skin look younger and glowing.Tones, deep cleanses and removes blackheads.
Packaging:
Its a tube packing in white color with tight gripped flip open cap. The packaging briefs about the product and its uses on front side. On the back side you will find the complete details on its key ingredients, application instructions, quantity, shelf life etc.
Key Ingredients:
Glycerin, Kaolin, Zinc oxide, Kishmish extract, Ashwagandha extract, Daru haldi extract, Almond oil, Gum acacia, Xanthan gum, Allantoin, Triclosan, Apricot shell powder, Vitamin E.
Price & Qty: Rs. 140 for 100 gm

Directions to use:
Apply on wet or dry skin and gently scrub desired areas of the skin in an upward motion. Rinse, pat dry and apply your favorite moisturizer. Gentle enough for daily use.

My Experience:
Eeshha Herbal Almond and Apricot Scrub is a pale brown creamy scrub with brown micro granules in it. The consistency is not very runny, but thick enough to spread easily on your wet face. (I have not tried using it on dry skin, as mentioned on the product packaging)
The scrub doesn't lather when you rub it on your wet face. Since it is not soap based, I felt no dryness on my face after its application. The granules don't hurt the skin when gently scrubbed on face and neck area, but they act as active exfoliators. So even the beauties with sensitive skin may use it without any hesitation.

Usually I scrub my face only once a week, but this scrub is gentle enough to be used atleast alternate days,if not everyday. But in case this scrub is to be used on other parts of body, then undoubtedly its a perfect choice for everyday use.

Talking about its fragrance; if you smell the scrub deeply, it would absolutely resemble actual smell of apricots. The fragrance is so sweet and mild that doesn't feel overpowering to anybody.
Like always, I liked the tube packaging too. Because I find these more hygienic as compared to tub packings.
Almond oil works towards moisturization of skin and increases the blood circulation of the skin. After a regular use of Eeshha Herbal Almond and Apricot Scrub, the skin looks younger and feels soft, smooth and flawless.

Pros:
H
ygienic & travel friendly packing.
Not harsh on skin.
Sweet fragrance.
Removes dead skin cells.
Purifies the top layer of the skin.
Creamy texture.
Pocket friendly price.

Cons:
Nothing !!

Overall Opinion:
The product is the right choice for beauties who have dry skin and are afraid of using scrubs that take away the required moisture from skin. The product delivers younger looking skin without contributing in any skin issues.

Eeshha Herbal Skin Balancing Basil Astringent Toner Review

I would begin by saying I am quite careless to follow my CTM routine religiously. I mean, many a times I ignore one or the other of three constituents activities. Toning is what I skip most of the time and then it obviously shows on skin :(

Today, I am telling you my experience with a toner that has become my favourite in very few days of usage..I got Eeshha Herbal Skin Balancing Basil Astringent Toner as a part of my complete body care kit sent by Eeshha Herbal.
Product Info:
Eeshha Herbal Skin Balancing Basil Astringent Toner is specifically formulated to effectively reduce oil secretion and gently removes impurities, providing a cooling effect to the skin. It contains basil oil which has antibacterial properties that helps in keeping oil-free skin, controls acne and breakouts. It is a natural antiseptic which regulates oil secretions and perspiration and provide  hydrated toned and refreshed skin.
Packaging:
The toner is contained in clear see-through bottle. The bottle has a tight spill-proof flip open cap that avoids any chances of leakage of toner and makes it comfortable to carry even in your handbag.
Ingredients: Purified Water, Rose water distillate, honey, glycerin, date extract, cucumber extract, basil oil, menthol crystal, denatured alcohol.
Price and Qty: Rs. 99 for 100 ml.
Recommended for: Normal to Oily Skin.
How to apply: Apply gently with cotton pad on cleansed face and neck avoiding contact with eyes and mouth. Concentrate more on nose and chin areas.
My Experience with the product:
Even before application, what attracted me towards this toner initially was the Basil Oil as an active ingredient. Basil is being used for health and skin care since historic times and I personally use fresh Basil leaves in different ways. So noticing Basil Oil written on the bottle, I had high expectations from the product. The first sniff of the strong smell of the toner has been really discouraging for me. It actually didn't feel any pleasant. But like I sad, I like Basil based products, so I decided to use the product. The toner gave a sharp stingy feel on my skin and also irritated my skin in the first usage. I realized the toner on my cotton pad was in excess quantity, so taken a relatively less quantity for next usage. Ofcourse, the tingling sensation was still felt but was really tolerable.
Though the toner is best recommended for Normal to Oily skin, but I absolutely had no issues on my dry facial skin after its application. The toner gently removed my makeup and traces of dirt n grime from my skin. The tired and puffy look on my face after day long work was promptly calmed. I was more than satisfied with the product effects because unlike most products, this toner didn't require me wearing a layer of moisturizer.
The toner efficiently restores and maintains the desired pH balance of the skin that is usually disturbed due to various factors. With consistent use of Eeshha Herbal Skin Balancing Basil Astringent Toner, the reduction in pore size and tightening of skin cells is effortlessly achieved that ultimately reduces the impurities to enter the skin.
The basil oil used in the toner makes it the best choice to treat skin irritation or skin infection, so I am going to keep the toner handy as an antiseptic specially for my child.

Pros:
Finest Ingredients.
Pocket friendly price.
Easy to carry.
Sturdy packaging.
Doesn't cause skin dryness.
Anti-allergic, antiseptic properties.
Detoxifies the skin effectively.

Cons:
Strong Smell should be made milder.
Needs to be diluted to reduce sensation on skin.

Overall Opinion:
Eeshha Herbal Skin Balancing Basil Astringent Toner is a must-try skin toning product for handling most skin issues effectively.

Eeshha Herbal Hydrating Cold Cream Review

Team Eeshha Herbal has sent me a huge pack of skin care goodies long back and I am in the process of testing them on myself and my family member since many days. I have already reviewed two of their lovely products in past few days i.e. a kajal pencil and a soap.

Today I am going to share my views on Eeshha Herbal Hydrating Cold Cream. Many people apply cold creams only during winter season as they find it greasy on their skin. But the people whose skin needs extra moisture due to dryness, they may find this cold cream quite effective even in summer days.

Product Claims:
This rich cream contains aloe vera, jojoba butter, cocoa and Kokum butter which are excellent moisturizing and nourishing ingredients that penetrate into skin texture for healing dead and chapped skin. It is rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants. Sun protection factor 15 shields your skin from harmful UV rays. Suitable for all kinds of skin.

Usage Instructions:
Apply after taking shower, towel dry and apply this cream generously all over the parts, with gentle massage till it get completely absorbed. Use it regularly everyday for better results.

Eeshha Herbal Hydrating Cold Cream is a small jar of 50 gm content at a price of Rs 135. The shelf life is 3 yrs from the date of manufacturing. The product packaging is light colored cardboard box bearing all the product details.
Ingredients: Cocoa Butter, Kokum Butter, Rose water Distillate, Liquorice Extract, Aloevera Extract, Jojoba Oil, Olive Oil, ,Silicon Oil, Titanium dioxide, OMC, Vitamin B12. Vitamin E.

My take on the product:
As I first applied the Eeshha Herbal Hydrating Cold Cream on my face, the first thing that impressed me was the texture of the cream which so easily got penetrated in my skin. The skin felt instant hydration and deep moisture. Undoubtedly, its because of the best moisturizing ingredients that give long lasting benefit.

The consistency is creamy thick as we expect from any cream. And I just needed to take very less quantity to cover whole face.

The cream has almost nil fragrance or I should say it does not pleases me like the naturally scented products. It may be a plus point to those who look for non-aromatic skin care products. But to me a mild refreshing smell would be an added positive, if provided.

This cold cream is not only a facial cream but can also be used on any part of your body specially the elbows, neck, back and arms. The drier parts of the body feel like drinking enough moisture and the cream proves its revitalizing capacity to the fullest on these areas.

The natural ingredients actually saved me from bothering about its harsh effects on skin at all. No itching or no burning. So its a cost-effective product for making your skin soft, supple and radiant without looking greasy on the top.

Pros:
  • Wonderful ingredients.
  • Easy to absorb.
  • Can be applied on any body part.
  • Pocket friendly price.
  • Easily available.
  • No side effects
  • Makes skin really hydrated.
Cons:
Actually Nothing!! But I just long for some nice fragrance that lingers on for at least few minutes after shower for a fresh feel.

Hope you liked the review.

Eeshha Herbal Smudge Free Kajal Review

'Kajrare Naina' is one of the most talked about theme in bollywood songs. Not only celebrities, but every female love darkening her eyelids to make them look more expressive. Kajal is one of the most ancient cosmetic being used by females. Infact in good old days, every mom used to apply homemade surma in her new-born baby's eyes out of the belief that it will make baby's eyes bigger and beautiful.

Now a days, we have plently of brands talking about goodness of their Kajal, but I have experienced that even some very reputed brands may cause itchiness or allergies to eyes. May be they contain harmful lead content.

Today I am reviewing Eeshha Herbal's Smudge Free Kajal which is a special combination of precious licorice, camphor and almond oil for eye makeup :) A special combination of precious herbs and pure Almond Oil for eye make-up. Helps to pamper the skin around the eyes and lends sparkle to the eyes. It won't smudge, smear or fade after application.

Ingredients:
  • Castor Oil, Bees Wax, Carbon Black, Vitamin E, Oil Extract of Triphala ,Licorice, Almond Oil, Camphor.
PriceRs 115 for 3.5 gm kajal stick.
Shelf Life: 36 months from packaging.

My Experience:
Eeshha Herbal Kajal is a stick shaped kajal in jet black color housed in bullet packaging having a transparent cap which lets you see the kajal stick from outside. There is nothing fancy about the packaging, but a decent look. The cap needs extra care to be taken due to its fragile material if you want to keeping this kajal stick in your handbag (as we girls mostly do).

The kajal gave my eyes intense black outline in single stroke itself. But those who love deeper and thicker waterline to be prominently highlighted can swipe the kajal twice or more. The kajal stick glides quite easily and feels smooth. It didn't make my watery eyes feel stingy or irritated even while prolonged application.

I liked the camphor smell in the kajal stick that reminded me of homemade kajal which I appreciate. The tip of the kajal stick comes nicely sharpened to draw precise thin line on waterline initially. But gradually it becomes thicker after multiple applications. I wish there was a compatible sharpener accompanying the kajal stick within the packaging itself ;)

Now, talking about its staying power... I truly didn't expect this kajal to stay longer because most kohls formulated with natural ingredients fade off quite soon. But to my surprise, it stayed more than 5-6 hours without being smudged on my lower waterline. I am happy with the results. However, I can not go by its claim to be "Smudge Free", as it tend to smudge a bit if you apply it in thick lines.

Pros:
*Pocket friendly price.
*Soothing ingredients.
*Causes no irritation to eyes.
*Smooth Application
*Gives deep black color
*Creamy texture
*No chemical formulation.
*Sufficient staying power.

Cons:
* Kajal Stick itself has no description printed on it, rather the outer cardboard packing is where you need to glance to know about its ingredients, qty, price etc.
* The packaging could have been improved to make the lid tighter or screw cap, so as to make it travel friendly.
* I wish a sharpener could be added to the packaging (may be by adding few more bucks to its price) to ease out the job of drawing a thin line out of kajal.
* Not completely smudge free.
Overall Opinion:
Eeshha Herbal Smudge Free Kajal is a budget-friendly worthy product if you are looking for a chemical-free daily-wear eye makeup. It can perform fair enough to give you crisp precise lines or thick intense lines to brighten your facial looks. For such a inexpensive price, I won't mind buying it again.

Hope my review interests you !!
