Oriflame Body Sprays Review-Love Potion, Rebel, Tenderly

Nobody wants to smell awful in public. Thank goodness for the countless options in fragrances, the task of keeping oneself smelling good is so much easier. Today's post talks about inexpensive body sprays from Oriflame that actually guarantee you will smell good. The reason why I'm reviewing more than one at a time is to recommend these according to the occasion it can be be worn for.

Tenderly, a girly pink coloured packaging gives me instant feminine feel. And when sprayed, it's a mild floral, fruity fragrance. It perfectly fits for an everyday office wear scent. The fragrance lingers on for 4-5 hours that is moderately long duration. It's ideal for wearing on occasions that call for fragrance that stays close to the skin and doesn't invite too much attention.

Love Potion body spray comes in the love-laced print in symbolic red with a hint of black. It's a sensuous scent that lives upto it's name to ignite feelings of love and passion ;) This scent radiates  around the wearer for fairly enough duration and the need to reapply rarely arises. Anyone who is partial towards powerful scents may go for it.

Rebel, the spray in a bold mauve coloured container sounds too catchy to me ;) It's a masculine kind of scent; but somehow this one happened to be my favourite among all three tested. It's intensity makes it last longer than other two and it fades quite slowly. Don't hesitate to confidently wear this alluring fragrance to an evening dance party. Just ensure to wear it in moderate amount because applying too much of a strong scent can be off-putting for others.

Each of the body sprays is available at Rs. 249 and weighs 75ml which I consider a lesser quantity than other brands, but the quality makes up for the price. One can liberally apply the body sprays that double up as deoderants too.

Gifted My Man Giordani Man Notte by Oriflame

Festive season is already here and presenting some thoughtful gifts for your beloved is the best way to show how much you value his presence in your life. This month, me and my hubby celebrated our 11th Engagement Anniversary and I wanted to surprise him with something fabulous beyond clothing and accessories. After some brain storming, I zeroed upon a bottle of luxurious scent. Though fragrances are the most loved yet trickiest gifts to choose when you want one that suits your man's personality, but if you gift can make him feel elated, the risk is worth taking.  So what I finally gifted him was the Giordani Man Notte which I found the best of the lot from Oriflame.

Giordani Man Notte by Oriflame is a Woody Aromatic fragrance for men. The beauty of this fragrance is a refreshingly authentic aromas that have a more masculine edge to them, but can also be worn by women. On the perfume pyramid, you will find the top notes of Neroli, Bergamot and Mandarin Orange; middle notes are Sea Water, Pepper and Artemisia; base notes are Musk, Sandalwood and Vetiver. My hubby loved it to the core and felt super delighted to own one.

The distinctive glass bottle flaunts classy black colour and exhibits the intensity of the fragrance as you hold it in your hand. The cut n finish of glass bottle is certainly to fall in love for. With shiny bright reflective silver elements on the bottle, it's something to behold forever :) 

In my hubby's own words "the blend of spicy, woodiness of Giordani Man Notte perfectly identifies the versatility of a modern man like me. Not only can I make this fragrance my accompaniment for a formal meeting, but can suitably pair with my playful evening look with friends or to seduce my soulmate. I love that the intensity of the fragrance is not too explosive to cause me headache, but gently binds close to my skin for hours even after fading of top notes."

Puresense Reviews for Vanilla Bloom Body Mist & Lemongrass Shampoo

I have been trying some carefully crafted non-toxic products from the house of Puresense by Soap Opera for many days and have been posting how I feel about them. Here is one more post dedicated to two of the Soap Opera's products i.e. Vanilla Bloom Body Mist & Lemongrass Shampoo.  

About Vanilla Bloom Body Mist:
If you are a fragrance lover and don't miss spraying yourself with a refreshing smell, you should try this body mist that I'm going to review today.

My take on Puresense Vanilla Bloom Body Mist:
I received a sample pack of Puresense Vanilla Bloom Body Mist that blends Vanilla, Chocolate and patchouli into a ultra feminine fragrance. Like all other products of Puresense, this body mist claims to me non-toxic and contains no alcohol.

The mist is just the rightly concentrated. The pump bottle gives good coverage in each spritz. The staying power of Vanilla Bloom is quite good. But there are lso some downsides to it. I found this body mist extremely heavy for my senses. On a tiny spritz on my neck line & pulse points, I could smell it very strongly. My preference of body mists over perfumes is most probably for the reason that mists possess lighter scents on mild notes that makes me feel sensuous.

Infact I don't mind if the scent is evaporated quick and I need to re-apply it after few hours. But somehow, Vanilla Bloom could not appeal me. Its just a matter of personal liking, otherwise I think Puresense masters in crafting awesome products. I may think of buying it for gifting purposes to my friends or relatives, who like to envelope themselves into use it off n on, but sadly I am not going to repurchase it for MYSELF. About Lemongrass Shampoo:
The Lemongrass shampoo from Puresense is infused with the goodness of Lemongrass and Olive Extracts to treat hair fall.

My take on Lemongrass Shampoo:
The lemongrass shampoo from Puresense is pearl white color shampoo. Neither too runny, nor too thick; the consistency of shampoo is appropriate to be applied on damp hair. The shampoo smells somewhat tangy, most probably due to such ingredients.

When I used a generous quantity of shampoo on my oily hair, it easily cleansed the scalp with enough lather. It left my hair feeling fresh and softer. The shampoo is free of sulphate and other synthetic chemical, so there is no worry of any damage. My hair also got untangled without much effort after the usage of this shampoo.

But I am unable to comment on its claims to reduce hair fall, because the sample pack which I received was of 25 ml only and I could barely use it twice on my long hair for proper results. I wish I could use it for atleast 8-10 hair-washes to form an opinion.

The full sized pack of 270 ml is priced at Rs 249 which is not so heavy on pocket.

Overall, I am pleased with most products I used and reviewed from Puresense by Soap Opera :)

Puresense Sleep Inducer Review

My Facebook followers might have seen the lovely sample products sent to me by Puresense few weeks ago. I reviewed one of the products here earlier while sharing the hamper pic. I am reviewing an unusual yet wonderful product in today's post i.e. the Puresense Sleep Inducer.

Hey, don't presume this product being suitable for insomniacs ;) As claimed by the brand, the Sleep Inducer is a non-toxic & aromatic blend of Rosemary, Lavender and Bergamot that is formulated to improve the quality of your sleep with regular use. The magical mix of these ingredients calms your stressed mind and induces sleep.

The sample pack of Sleep Inducer that I received is a transparent spritz bottle of 10ml filled with the colorless liquid of watery consistency in it. The bottle's tip is covered with a tight transparent cap too, that doesn't let the liquid leak out.

The liquid comes out with 2-3 effortless pushes after removing the cap.

My experience:
I have a tendency to sleep quite late at night for last many years. And being employed on a full-time job doesn't allow me to get up late in the morning. So I usually get to sleep around 5-6 hrs max. Now the another worry-some fact is that the quality of my sleep is damn poor.  And it makes me feel drowsy the very next day.

To test the effect of this sleep inducer on me, I sprinkled its few drops on my pulse point & also gave few spritz to my pillowcover on both side of my head after I switched off the lights for night sleep. The moment I inhaled the mild fragrance of Puresense Sleep Inducer, I could deeply breath with relaxation.

During a regular usage of around a week or more, the sleep inducing scent had left amazing psychological effect on my sleep, because I knew that certain fragrances like Lavender, chamomile etc. correct the lack/disorder of sleep at the back of brain and invite tight sleep. I am willing to continue it for some more days, so that this sleeping aid can help me enjoy sound sleep with a peaceful balance of my mind for whatever time I get to sleep.

P.S. I am planning to test this spray as a daily wear therapeutic fragrance with a hope to keep my mind in a calm state throughout the day. Also feeling like putting its few drops to my diffuser and make the aromatic ambiance in my bedroom (though I don't know if it will work or not) ;)

Before I could try these cute li'l babies, my hubby quickly grabbed the pack from my hand and sprinkled SMOOTH fragrance on him saying "dear, its meant for HIM (MEN), so let me give you my feedback on it." ;) The Smooth has top notes of somewhat fruity mix of Thyme, Bergamot, Lemon that one experiences in the initial whiff. The heart notes of Ozone, Cloves, Nutmeg are on a spicy note that trigger your senses instantly. And the base notes are musky Balsam Fir, Sandalwood, White Musk that lasts after 6-8 hours as per my hubby's verdict. The full size packaging of 50 ml is priced at Rs 750. You can buy it here.

 I was excited to pick one fragrance for me too and I sprayed Lolette on me coz it impressed me with its lovely girly purple packaging first of all. Among the fruity Top Notes of Coconut, Plum, Apricot; the most prominent one was the Coconut in the first sniff I had. The heart notes include Tuberose, Pimento, Jasmine Sambac and the base Notes are including  Vanilla, Rose, Jacaranda Wood. This particular fragrance feels so sensual n flirty at the same time and impresses me with its longevity. I genuinely could smell it till the next morning on myself. The admirers of stronger notes MUST give it a try on my recommendation. Its one of the most uplifting fragrance I have ever used. The RADIANT is again meant for females. The RADIANT fragrances has Hawthorn, Powdery, Lipstick as top notes; the Violet Blossoms, Jasmine, Rose as the heart notes and the Vanilla, Oppoponax, White Musk as the base notes. The subtle, soothing Radiant perfume reminds me of something feminine. The soft vanilla is among my usual favourites so I loved this one too. The MRP for a full sized bottle of 50ml is Rs.750.
