Kick Start Your Day With 'Classic Coffee'

Nothing tastes better than a cup of coffee to kick start your day. I bet it's one of the beverage that charm us equally whether taken hot or cold. We've been brewing and drinking coffee in our home since years, but I believe relishing a cup of coffee is definitely about exceptional flavour that can come only from finest quality beans. What say!!

Classic Coffee takes pride to bring Premium grade coffees that originate from the verdant hills of Bababudangiri in Chikmagalur, and Sakleshpur in the Manjarabad region. The coffee experts at the Classic Coffee labs carefully analyse various attributes of green and roasted coffees including fragrance, aroma, size, body, acidity levels, flavour & finish.

The brand offers a unique palette of flavours and taste profiles ranging from hints of spice, fruity and floral notes. Every sip of these fine coffees tells the story of expertise in cultivating, picking, processing, milling, sorting and roasting of the magical beans. The brand has been kind enough to send me two of their most-loved blends in Classic Pride and Classic Mountain from Craft Coffee Range.
Classic Pride, the epitome of Arabica and Robusta blend, comes in a tin container in green and deep red colour theme. The container depicts the lady plucking red ripe cherries at the estates and is truly fascinating. The container is certainly a reusable one with tight lid, so I'm gonna preserve it after I finish my coffee.
Classic Pride is the splendid culmination of the evolution of coffee aroma. The Arabica beans of Bababudan Hills are infused with the subtlety of Robusta beans to create a fragrance that is reminiscent of the lost art of coffee making.
A wholesome rounded cup of Classic Pride is punctuated with flecks of sweet acidity and topped with deep flavours of chocolate, caramel, nuts and malt. The underlying thread of bitterness accentuates the deep, yet fascinating mysteries of the cup - a must for early risers and as a final fill-up to a sumptuous meal. This variant is best brewed with South Indian Filter and is priced at Rs 395 for 250 gms.
Classic Mountain, the traditionally ingrained quality coffee, is a 100% Arabica offering. Every cup of this coffee tells a story of individually hand picked beans washed in clear mountain springs and sun-dried in pristine daylight. They are sealed in special bags to retain a distinctive natural flavour. The bags are further packed in beautifully decorated sacks with string fastening.
Each cup promises an exquisite brew of an aromatic coffee balanced with subtle chocolate notes to take you through an inspiring day. Interestingly, this variant is also available in beans form. It is best brewed with Aeropress & Frenchpress styles and is priced at Rs. 290 for 200 gms.

Other than the brews I received, you may also lay your hands on their fruity, floral flavours under Premium Coffee Range consisting of Blaze (The Morning Blend), Matinee (Afternoon Blend), Sundower (Evening Blend), and Afterhours (Night Blend).

Classic Coffee also educates the home-brewers about many delightful brewing techniques so that a delicious cuppa comes to your table in just the perfect proportion. So next time when you get yourself craving for a aromatic coffee, don't forget to check out Classic Coffee for pure indulgence.

You brew it strong or like it light,
Drink it in morning or sip in the night.
Classic Coffee unfolds mystery of the Cup,
And you know, with whom to curl up 💋

Masala Papad for A Quick Snack

Masala Papad is one of the easiest recipe for bringing in a variation to plain papad. You'll find it being served at many restaurants as a appetizer, starter, snack too.
Traditionally the papad is fried in the oil for the recipe, but I've used minimum oil to roast the papad on a griddle (tawa).
Check out how to enjoy this tasty bite ;)
Ingredients:
2 Papad
1 cup Boiled Chickpeas (Chhole)
1 medium sized Onion - finely chopped
1 medium sized Tomato - finely chopped
2 Green Chillis - finely chopped
Fresh Coriander Leaves - finely chopped
Salt to taste
Red Chilli Powder to taste
Pepper Powder to taste
Fresh Lemon Juice- 2 tsp
Oil

Method:
Apply little oil on papad and roast on griddle just like a parantha keeping the flame low.
Turn the papad upside down to roast it from other side as well.
If the edges are bit uncooked, give the papad a quick round up on direct flame. Keep it aside, when done.
Mix Chickpeas, Onion, Tomato, Green Chilli and Coriander leaves in a bowl.
Add Salt, Pepper Powder, Red Chilli Powder and mix well.
Pour the lemon juice in the mixture and toss the veggies.
Spread the vegetables over the papad evenly and serve immediately.

Tip: You may spread green chutney on papad to make it more spicy.

Fun Food Ideas With Dr. Oetker FunFoods Mayonnaise

Hey everyone

I'm off work these days and enjoying my Christmas holidays. Like always, I love treating my family with some scrumptious snacks whenever I get time to stay home all the day long, because it's really monotonous to eat the same boring food everyday during normal course of work life.

What I tried this holiday season are some variants of Dr. Oetker FunFoods Mayonnaise other than classic flavour.
Mayonnaise Garlic also known as Aioli. It's made from freshest grounded garlic added to the mayo giving it a delectable taste. You can enjoy it with garlic bread, fried cheese & corn nuggets, fried onion pakodas, fish tikka. I gave a twist to my son's favourite snack honey chilli potato using garlic mayo. The crispy fried potato fingers tossed in honey chilli sauce with a hint of garlic tantalized the taste buds with little bit of everything.
Mayonnaise Tandoori a unique blend of European Mayonnaise with Indian Spices. Add this flavour and create exciting dishes such as Shahi Paneer, Malai Kofta, Tandoori Macarooni or Pizzas. I opted for making healthy Rawa Vegetable Uttapam. Adding little tandoori mayo to this instant recipe intensified the taste with an aroma similar to smoky tandoor.
Mayonnaise Green Mint which is a fusion of mayo with refreshing mint. It serves as a dip with kebabs or as spread. I made this burger overloaded with vegetables. Mint mayo added ultimate restaurant style flavour that left everyone salivating. Super easy to make, incredibly delicious and filling snack.

All these dishes are perfect starters for any kids party, if you are planning to organize this holiday season. All these mayonnaise flavours are priced at Rs 79 each for 275 gm and the best thing is that these are EGGLESS, so are a perfect choice for vegetarians families like mine.

What variants of FunFoods Mayonnaise have you tried and liked the most, do let us know in comments.

Change Your Diet, Change Your Life With Raw Pressery Juices

Preparing uniquely refreshing juices at home from variety of fruits might be quite customary for most households like mine, because we all typically believe that freshly extracted juices have higher nutritional value than packed juices.

But today, I'm putting an end to this widely held belief by establishing the fact that the juicers or blenders we use at home generate heat due to high-speed rotating blade that causes oxidation and destroys vital nutrients in the juices. A healthier alternative is to opt for 'Cold Pressed' juices which are made with a hydraulic press to extract the maximum amount of liquid from fresh fruits and vegetables.

Now, if you're wondering where to avail cold presses juices from? The answer lies here at             Raw Pressery.

Raw Pressery is an innovative venture by Mr. Anuj to promote "All Good No Bad" message by delivering cold-pressed juices and cleanses everyday at major cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Pune.

When Raw Pressery started delivering at Chandigarh, I couldn't counter my temptation to try some flavours and I was sent one of their popular Raw Bundles called Metabolize by the brand for tasting and testing.

This juice combo is a carefully put together pack of 4 variants named as Glow, Shield, Flush, 100% Pineapple and Ginger in food grade plastic bottles of 250 ml each.
Unlike the Cleanse plans offered by the brand, the Raw Bundle that I received, is not meant to be drunk in any specific order which was a great relief to me. Because its pretty difficult for me to spare even a few minutes for snacking etc. during my working hours. So I drank all these juices at comfort of my home after returning from work.

Glow, a clear looking, superior blend of Cucumber, Coconut Water, Pineapple, Lemongrass, Aloe Vera and Lemon. Loaded with energy, it's great to obtain healthy skin and keep the body cool n properly hydrated.
Shield, a bright orange colour juice having Tangerine, Carrot and Ginger with thicker consistency. The pulp in the beverage resembles exactly like freshly extracted orange juice and leaves you feel really full as you consume the entire content of the bottle. The presence of Vitamin C helps battle common cold, signs of ageing and allergies.
Flush, the most beautiful looking beverage containing Apple, Beet, Carrot, Ginger and Lemon. The juice owes its colour from beet that goes into the formula. This one is best for people who complaint of high blood pressure as the juice will lowers the blood pressure while purifying the blood and supplying Vitamin A to the body.
100% Pineapple and Ginger, is a sunny yellow colour juice that rich in potassium and vitamin C. But don't expect the taste to be as sweet as usual pineapple juice.
Talking about the flavour of juices, none of the juices taste sweet despite sweet ingredients used in some of them. The aroma and flavours are bit strong and tangy for my taste. I would have loved them more if a healthy alternate of artificial sugar might have been added to sweeten the beverages. But I like the mixing of ginger in most recipes which adds to the health benefits of the juices for its anti-inflammatory, immune boosting properties. As far as the taste is concerned, one can always go slow initially and develop a liking after some time like it happened with me :)

Are Raw Pressery juices genuinely incredible?
Yes! they are. And here I tell you why...
  • When most juices generally mean fruit extracts, Raw Pressery juices contain fruits as well as veggies.
  • No use of chemicals, preservatives, artificial colours or added sugar; only freshest and finest quality fruits and veggies sourced directly from local farms (and nothing else).
  • If you expect it's plain, watery thin liquid bottled for you to drink, you fail miserably. 'Coz you'll love the mouthful of pulp in every sip.
  • There is wide array of choices to subscribe for a delivery plan depending on your requirement like Detox Cleanse, Raw Bundles, Multi Serve packs etc. Each of these will contribute towards your well-being by improving your diet plan.
  • One can customize the selection of juices in his subscription plan (only) if certain flavour is not liked.
  • These juices are apt to replace a healthy meal in case you are short of time or not eating due to unavailability of proper food. Not only the adults, but kids will also enjoy these healthy beverages as a 'super food'.
  • The nutritional chart is printed on every bottle with details of all your calorie and other nutrition intake from particular variant.
  • The bottles used for packaging of juices are food grade PET, 100% BPA free and completely recyclable. The company supports green revolution by arranging collection of the empty bottles from your place as a part of their recycling drive which is worth an applause.
Overall, a strong recommendation for everyone to introduce yourself to these nectar-like beverages to sooth the internal system of your body and improve the quality of your living.

Eggless Chocolate Mug Cake - 2 Minutes Recipe

Hello friends

I'm not very fond of sweets..but my family members surely are :) So to treat them for their sweet cravings, I try making some easy-peasy recipes.

Chocolate Cake is on the top of the list when asked for favourite dessert from anyone. So I tried baking an instant chocolate cake in a mug for the first time. I didn't use egg in the recipe, so that even vegetarians can relish this one.

Here is quick recipe of Mug Cake..

Ingredients:
All purpose flour (Maida) - 4 tbsp
Sugar (Powdered) - 2 tbsp
Coco powder - 1 tbsp
Salt - 2 pinches
Baking Soda - 1/8 tsp
Cooking oil - 3 tbsp
Milk - 3 tbsp

Method:
Mix all-purpose flour and cocoa powder in a microwave-safe mug.
Add powdered sugar. you may increase of decrease the quantity as per your taste. Also add salt and baking powder into it. Mix all dry ingredients in the mug properly.
Now add cooking oil and milk one by one into the mixture.

Mix everything well so that there are no lumps.
Once the smooth batter-like consistency is ready in the mug, microwave the mug for a minute.
Take a quick glance at the cake after a minute of baking. If you feel the cake is partially unbaked, give it one more round of baking in microwave for 30-60 sec.
The moist, chocolate cake is ready to satiate your craving within no time.
You may add nuts or choco chips to give the cake a better flavour and texture. The variation can be brought by adding essence of your choice as well.

Do let me know if you have any suggestions to bake it better :)
