My take on Vedantika Herbals Neem Tulsi Shampoo:
Although my scalp is usually trouble-free, but there are some hair troubles that I had been facing due to sweaty summers. Moreover, my son used to have a tendency of developing mild allergic reactions on his scalp specially during summers and since then I made him use neem based shampoos. I know I could have used boiled neem leaves in water to cure this naturally, but frankly I couldn't always manage so due of lack of time. So I took to some gentle shampoos with herbal preparation. When I opted for Vedantika's Neem Tulsi shampoo, I had high hopes from it bcz I had good experience with their another variant i.e. Lemon Grass Shampoo as well (reviewed here).

The Neem Tulsi shampoo reduced the itchiness of the scalp in one or two applications because it is enriched with antibacterial and antiseptic properties of the active ingredients. It lathered quite nicely and eliminated dirt and excess oil without leaving the scalp irritating me. Though the shampoo is mild and gentle, but I won't say you may skip conditioning your hair post head bath.

It feels nice when the shampoo gives a cooling effect on the scalp which I believe is due to the tulsi oil used in the shampoo. The shampoo effectively lowers scalp inflammations as well as restores the moisture level of the hair by use nourishing essential oils and aloe vera.
Now speaking about the color n fragrance, the shampoo is very cute light green in color which actually turns to be neutral as pour it on your palm. It smells not so delightful, but I bet it is not a irritating one. I could relate this aroma quite closely to tulsi than to neem. I am skipping giving details on packaging etc which are similar to other Vedantika shampoo.

The shampoo claims of reducing hair fall as well, but I am yet to make up my opinion for the same. But overall Vedantika Herbals Ayurvedic Neem Tulsi Shampoo helps get rid of scalp inflammation, minimizes growth of bacteria and lowers most reasons causing you smelly scalp.

I have been using Vedantika Herbals product since long and found most of them working really fine for me. So as I got to know about their herbal shampoo, obviously I was excited to try it on me. So after a few usages, here is the review for their Lemon Grass Shampoo.

Packaing: The product comes in transparent plastic square bottle. The bottle bears a screw cap and an inner cork cap. The screw cap gives slightly lose grip due to its material. But the inner cap helps to prevent leakage. The bottle has every detail printed on it.

My take on the product:
Lemon grass shampoo by Vedantika Herbals is a liquid gel of light yellow color. The color of shampoo is lighter than the one seen in the bottle when you pour it on your palm.

The lemongrass smells wonderful and gives fresh citrusy feel specially during summer season. The smell is quite gentle and fades away after some time from your hands as well as hair. The consistency of the shampoo is absolutely perfect; neither very diluted nor very thick. The smooth textured shampoo gets spread easily on wet hair. The lemon grass shampoo generates rich lather in quite less quantity and thoroughly cleanses my long hair. So I expect this 200 ml bottle will last quite long even with regular usage. The shampoo comes off without any fuss when you rinse it. Even I used it on oiled hair and it worked fine. The only thing is that I needed to use a bit extra quantity of shampoo. My hair felt soft, shiny and bouncy after the application. Right now, this shampoo is just 3-4 usage old with me and I cannot comment on its effect on hair fall, may be because my hair fall is already under control. I specially adored the shampoo due to its anti-fungal properties because during summers its quite possible to get mild infections due to sweating n dirt etc. So this lemon grass shampoo is a perfect remedy for the same. It also does not take away natural oil from the scalp and doesn't cause irritation due to dryness. This shampoo is mild enough to be used everyday and can be applied by children too because it does not sting their eyes. Needless to say, I found this shampoo suitable for gentle hair care for whole family.

Todays review is of a facewash that smells like fresh rose flowers. As I started using this facewash, I realized that I have not used any beauty product that has rose as ingredients since long. So lets move ahead towards the product detailing...

The product comes in a transparent plastic Pump dispenser which makes it easy to eject drops of liquid facewash. The spray nozzle is covered with a plastic cap that shuts tightly and prevents leakage. 

My Experience:

The Vedantika Herbals Rose-Sandal face wash is a gel based cleanser in light pick color that seems almost colorless in first look. A little quantity as of a size of pea lathers sufficiently well so you may expect one bottle to last more than a month. 

The consistency of the cleanser is as thick as I expected from a gel based product. So when you press the dispeser, no extra or unwanted quantity oozes out in one go.

As per the usage instructions on the bottle, apply the cleanser on wet face and gently massage it in upward motions to generate lather and cleanse the skin. I loved the fragrance of rose mixed with a hint of sandalwood in it that makes a refreshing combination. 

On the application of this cleanser, the skin actually gets rid of excessive oil, dirt and other types of pollutants. I didn't experience any over dryness, tight  or stretchy feel on skin post application. It rinses off very easily without much effort to rub the skin. Few splashes of water on the face rinse the cleanser from skin.
People with normal skin type won't need to moisturize the skin after its usage. Because this face wash leaves the skin moderately hydrated and moisturized. But I have to moisturize my skin most of the times, since my skin is more on drier side. 

This cleanser not only removes impurities from skin, but also draws out the excessive heat and keeps the skin cool with its naturally effective ingredients.

My take on Tomato Soup by Vedantika Herbals:

Firstly I felt impressed with the choice of paper sachet by team Vedantika for packing the content unlike regular poly packings. The soup is in powder form, packaged in sachets precisely measured for each day’s personal needs. So it also offers convenience to carry. 

As I cut the seal of the sachet, I could smell a strong aroma of clove. The powder doesn't resemble like usual soup powders available in market, rather its a light colored powder looking at which initially you don't feel like getting that bright red colored soup preparation ;)   

But when I mixed the soup powder in water and stirred it properly while boiling on high flame, it came out really nice in color. In the first few sips, my taste buds didn't adjust the taste immediately. The soup tastes a bit tangier, but gradually I started liking the flavour of spices in it specially the taste of clove :) The soup didn't get thicker, so I liked its consistency too.

Vedantika Herbals Anti Ageing Mask Review

             Few days back, I got a pack of skin care products from Vedantika Herbals at my doorstep for review purposes. I have been hearing all good about their product range, so I felt all excited to test them on me :)
           
            The pack included a Skin Polishing Scrub and an Anti Aging Mask. The Skin Polishing Scrub has already been reviewed by me and if you missed the post, here is the link.

Now after trying my hands on Anti Ageing Mask for quite a few times, I'm ready to share my opinion.
Product Claims:
           Vedantika Herbals Anti Ageing Mask is an instant face lifting & firming treatment that helps sagging & ageing of skin. Regular use gives the skin lasting firmness & resilience. Also removes wrinkles, lines blemishes and improves skin color & texture. It arrests the ageing of the skin, leaving your face looking years younger.

Packing:
              The Vedantika Herbals Anti Ageing Mask also has identical packaging as the Skin Polishing Scrub has. They come in rectangular plastic bottles with screw cap.

How much to pay for what quantity?
You need to pay INR 250 for 70gms of the content.

For how long can I use it?
The product has a decent shelf life of 18 months.

What are its key ingredients and their Hindi Names?

How did I use it?
               As the application instructions on the pack read, I mixed the required quantity of of the face mask with rose water and also added honey for enjoying the utmost benefits for my dry skin. I apply a thick layer over my face and neck and sat quietly surfing my internet giving the mask ample time to dry. Since its a thick layer, so it takes around 15-20 minutes to dry properly. I checked by touching it on my face and then washed it off with lukewarm water.

How I felt during and after its use?              The first thing I noticed on opening the pack was the similar smell i.e camphor. As I mentioned in my previous post also that camphor is something whose smell doesn't overpower me. But when I applied the mask on my face, a stinging sensation irritated my eyes.  But since I had added rose water in the mixture, the sensation lasted not more than for a minute and soothed the skin. It comes out easily when I gentle rubbed it with wet hands.

              Since the mask is very minute powdered, I didn't feel the itchy dryness after its use. Actually after wiping the face with a soft towel,  there was a visibly clean n clear skin tone in just three uses. I could even feel better skin elasticity. I am sure its because of its rare precious herbs extracts combined with Shankbhasma which is claimed to provide the most powerful age-control benefits. 

(Tip: You can substitute the rose water with cucumber juice also. And if you feel honey is sticky on your face, it can be replaced with few drops of glycerin. Use fresh water to rinse it off in summers.) 

Overall, I'm extremely happy with the results of Vedantika Herbals Anti Ageing Mask
Pros:
 1. Purely natural herbs used.
2. No harmful side effects on skin.
3. Detoxifies the skin effectively.
4. Finely ground for easy application.
5. Smell nice (but may be a bit strong for some sensitive nose)
6. Improves skin complexion.
7. Travel friendly packing.

Cons:
1. Tingling sensation (though its not too strong to make you feel uneasy).
2. A bit expensive (but again when I think about the herbs used, I know why it costs this much)


Overall Thoughts:
            I would definitely continue using this anti-ageing mask to nurture and pamper my skin in future as well. I believe no product can STOP ageing, but there are some products that can slow down this process. And Vedantika has given us a solution to keep fine lines, wrinkles and age spots at bay. I'm loving my soft, supple, youthful n radiant skin after using Vedantika Herbals Anti Ageing Mask. 

Vedantika Herbals Ayurvedic Skin Polishing Scrub Review

                         I'm here today to talk about Skin Polishing. We expose our skin to a variety of things everyday including dust, pollution, harmful rays and what not! I realize that skin polish at least once a week is essential to remove dead skin cells and to keep our skin glowing. Ingredients:  
              Rubia Cardifolia, Withania Somnifera (ashwagandha), Oscimum Gratissimum (Clove Basil), Cinnamomum Zeylanicum, Prunus Amygdalus (sweet almond), Juglans Regia (Walnut ), Citrus Aurantium ( bitter orange), Cinnamomum Camphor, Gram Flour & Oat Bran.

 Instructions to Apply :
                      Make a paste by soaking required amount of Skin Polishing Scrub in milk for 10 minutes. Gently rub to clean wet parts of the body for 5-10 minutes in circular movement. Wash off with normal water. 

My first experience with the product:
                   To begin with, let me tell you that as soon as I hold the Skin Polishing Scrub in my hand (still packed), I could smell a familiar fragrance from my childhood days. Reading the ingredients, I realized its my favourite aroma of Camphor :) 

                    As oppose to the usual scrubs that come in paste form, the Vedantika Skin Polishing Scrub is in powder form that can be converted into a paste of the consistency that suits your needs and preferences. So I utilized my Sunday yesterday to pamper my skin with this scrub and followed the instructions.

                      As I rubbed a pinch of this Vedantika Skin Polishing Scrub between my fingers, I felt happy to know that it is neither so crumbly ground nor very minutely ground. Because if its so coarse, I would have been afraid of scratches on my skin .... & if its so soft like a gel, there is always a feeling of not getting the purpose solved. As they say that a body scrub should ideally be of similar consistency to table salt. I found Vedantika Skin Polishing Scrub just the ideal one. :)

                  Later I soaked it in milk for few minutes and added half a spoonful of honey to the mixture because of my dry skin type. The gritty paste in light chocolaty color showed colorful ingredients in li'l chunks :)

           Beginning with splashing some water on my skin, I rubbed the paste on my face, neck and arms for the first use in circular motions. Here I paid close attention to the sides of my nose and any fine lines or dry spots on my skin by being careful around the eyes, when using it on face. Then I targeted the exposed parts of my back to cleanse with this scrub.
           
                  Like we all are aware of the benefits of non-abrasive and gentlest exfoliant Oat bran, it thoroughly removed the skin impurities. Infact I'm expecting that my tanned forehead skin would surely be lightened with its regular use. I finished off by splashing my skin with fresh water to close the pores and freshen up my skin.
