My views on the product:
IHA Cool 'n' Soothe bathing bar is a handcrafted ayurvedic soap bar in deep greenish blue color. It comes wrapped in plastic sheet with a label that reads the soap name. Its good to have this label so that you know which variant is it in case you lose the outer cardboard box. You can find all the information about the bathing bar on the cardboard box.

The soap smells refreshing on opening the plastic sheet covering. The light, uplifting fragrance is inspired from mint, so is pleasantly bearable to most people & it doesn't last very long. Taking a bath with this bathing bar gives mild cooling sensation. Post bathing, it left my skin bit drier though other family members felt nothing of that sort. It may be because of my skin type or because my skin need more moisture during winters. I may expect this soap to perform better for me in summer season.

The soap bar produces no extra-ordinary foamy lather, but generates light creamy one to cleanse the skin gently. It doesn't worries me at all as long as the purpose if solved. The soap claims to be free of chemicals, so I already expected only light lathering which is a usual characteristic of handmade soaps.

The soap doesn't melt any extra so may last about a month. It helps fighting against any bad odor, so can be a good choice to people facing body odor problem.

Fuschia Camellia Handmade Soap Review

No wonder if I'm posting one more soap review... coz my inclination towards natural soaps is increasing day by day... Its not that my fondness is newly developed, but the point is that I was aware of very few brands (like Soulflower India) selling handmade soaps since many months and have been ordering those for my family till now. Actually I din't even try to find some other brands to experiment with more handmade bath n body essentials. But now I feel myself much knowledgeable about the quality, ingredients, formulation process of natural soaps & so I love reviewing them fairly :)

The Fuschia team from VKare Bio Sciences Ltd. had been really humble to send me a pack of three of their handmade soaps from their Natural Cosmetic Collection few days ago and I've been testing them since then. 

Todays review is on Camellia Handmade Soap.

 

Camellia is also designated as 'tea flower'  and interestingly this soap is also infused with Green Tea extract, glycerin along with camellia oil and other essential aroma oils. The soap bar is neatly sealed in thin transparent plastic sheet and an outer cardboard packing in lovely green recycled paper. Each bar weighs approximately 100 gms and comes with a price tag of Rs 225. I am happy with the reasonable soap size coz those BIGGG bars are difficult to handle (or need to cut into pieces) and I feel bored somehow to use one soap bar for many days :)

Don't get confused to know the soap bar is in shiny green color and not in pinkish red as the camellia flower is. Coz the final color of the soap bar is an outcome of mixing various oils as well as green tea extract.

 My take on Fuschia Camellia Handmade Soap:
Before my first use, the Camellia soap on my palm smelt very dull (almost negligible) and lathered slightly when I rubbed it on my hands with water. But rubbing it only twice or thrice on a loofah generated enough creamy lather to cleanse the body. The light sweet fragrance though doesn't linger on for many hours. It vanishes very soon.

The soap is a bit softer than usual chemical based soaps due to the use of natural oils and its handmade nature. So I took special care to place it in a soap dish with holes or a wired rack in the washroom between uses to allow the soap to dry properly ( I want the soap to last longer).

 The skin feels actually fresh and well moisturized after the usage and clears up excessive oil from skin. Camellia's light herbal scent and vitamin E automatically blocks UV rays and helps skin maintain a healthy pH level. So I would suggest it to be used by those suffering from skin tanning. I'm firmly believing that the anti-oxidant & anti-fungal properties of green tea really work coz I noticed reduction in my body odor too.

Pros:

• Natural Ingredients including green tea n camellia flower extracts.
• Looks as shiny as Green Traffic Light ;)
• No harmful chemicals and artificial scents used.
• Causes no tight feeling or itching on skin.
• Can treat minor insect bites n sun burns etc.
• Decent Size.

Cons:
No reason to dislike the soap (provided the packaging is improvised with detailed list of ingredients on it)

Final Words:
The extremely moisturizing Fuschia Camellia Handmade Soap is the easiest way to enjoy the skin beautifying n skin nourishing properties of Green Tea and Camellia in routine bath rituals. The soap is advisable to people of all skin types, but it will provide calming effect especially for dry and irritated skin.

Fuschia Strawberry Passion Handmade Soap Review

              Soaps made with finest ingredients handpicked from nature are nothing less than a delightful possession for me. I actually treasure the array of handmade soaps that I own and proudly claim myself to be 'really considerate for my skin' :) Whenever I get to use a newly owned natural soap, I take sheer pleasure in sharing my views with you all.

             Today, I am reviewing  Strawberry Passion Handmade Soap by Fuschia. 

Fuschia Strawberry Passion soap comes packed in thin cling-film kind of plastic sheet finely sealed around the soap bar. There is lovely printed handmade sheet that holds the soap cake in it. Even without opening the soap packing, I could smell nice sweet fragrance of this gorgeous dark pink soap.

Price n Qty: 

The Fuschia Strawberry Passion Handmade Soap of net 100 gms is available at a price of Rs. 225. 

Ingredients:

Nothing as such mentioned on the packing regarding what has been used as core ingredients while making this soap. But the brand claims the presence of natural ingredients, fragrances and essential aroma oils in all their soaps.

My Experience with Fuschia Strawberry Passion Handmade Soap:

The Strawberry Passion is glycerin based soap and I like its translucence look. The darker pinkish shades gets lighter with frequent usage. It lathers sensibly ok as I expected, but is soft n creamy on skin. There is no overly-soapy feeling that itches on skin. After rinsing off the lather, it wasn't that dry feeling but I cannot survive without moisturizing generously, so coated my skin with a layer of my fav body lotion.

• Ingredients missing from the pack (but, the brand has taken a note of this and has promised to add up the details in next product lot) :)
• Pricey. ( Wish some deals or discounts are offered on purchase of single bar also)
•  Shelf Life has not been mentioned either on the soap bar or in the description given on the official website. 
• I could not relate the fragrance to the real strawberry smell exactly. (It might be due to mixing of other ingredients while making the soap which I'm not sure of)

 

Final Words: 

I feel this mild soap can do miraculous job on acne prone skin. The gentle cleansing can leave your skin soft n soothing. It doesn't causes any allergies or irritations. I'm making no false claims here, but those in love with strawberries can buy it to satisfy their skin's craving :)

 

Fuschia Orange Peel Handmade Soap Review

               You know I'm in love with handmade soaps since long. Infact for almost 3-4 years, I have not purchased & used a chemical based soap usually available in the market. At times, I feel surprised how and why people go for those fancy-looking soaps that actually have no skin benefits :/

                Today, my intention is to make you aware of another promising brand dealing in handmade soaps i.e. Fuschia. I know, you might be feeling that I addressed this name earlier also in one of my posts. Yups! you are right. I already used n reviewed Fuschia's handmade lipbalm. And I'm sharing my first hand experience with one of the Fuschia handmade soaps in this post :)

             Fuschia currently is crafting handmade soaps in three wonderful ranges:
Classic Range, Designer Range and Herbal Range. Each category lists eco-friendly soaps to take care of our skin
         
                 I'll be talking about Fuschia's Orange Peel Handmade soap that is infused with many nutrients necessary for maintain youthful skin. This is one from the Herbal range of their soaps.

Fuschia Orange Peel Handmade Soap

 Fuschia Orange Peel Handmade Soap comes in an outer cardboard packing with an inner sealed transparent plastic sheet holding the soap bar. The color of outer paper-covering compliments the key ingredient so well.

The soap bar weights 100 gms that costs Rs. 225/- per piece.

 The soap bar is not bright orange in color, but a pretty one that actually has some thin particles peeping out.

             It is a gentle soap that doesn't leave the body skin dried out after usage. The texture of the soap is very creamy on your palm and it produces sufficient lather in contact with water. If  the soap bar is properly placed in the soapcase to get dried after use, it has no tendency to melt down at normal temperature. It spreads a sensuous fragrance on body for next few minutes after bath. The fragrance itself is absolutely identical to citric one that my nose recognizes instantly.

              It washes out easily and asks for no application of moisturizer, if you have oily to normal skin. But I feel uneasiness n stretchy on skin after bath in any season, so would suggest people with dry skin like mine that they should use a light body lotion afterwards.

           In only few regular uses, I noticed lightened complexion on exposed body parts. I believe the Vitamin C content of orange peel combats free radicals and helps adding a glow to your skin by fighting off wrinkles.

            My experience makes a noticeable point that Fuschia Orange Peel Handmade Soap can not only be used as cleansing sap bar, but can be used as a toner.


The Positives:
 1. 100% vegetarian n NO animal tested. (the green dot in the pic above indicates the same)
2. Orange peel treats acne very effectively.
3. Extracts dirt from deep inside the pores.
4. Smells really heavenly.
5. Doesn't melts so easily, so one bar will last quite longer.
6.Preservative free, so shelf life is longer than soaps offered by other brands.
7. Deflects harmful UV rays.
8. Renews worn out skin cells and prevents all unhealthy skin conditions.

100% Vegetarian (not for edible use)

The Negatives:
1. The ingredient list is missing from the packaging and I really wish that the key ingredients MUST be mentioned to convince users about the goodness of the product.
2. A bit pricy (but on the website, one can opt for buying combo packs of few soaps at good discounts) 
3. Not locally available at drugstores or supermarkets.

Conclusion:
If you are looking for a soap that can target those dark spots caused due to acne or some sunspots then please give this a try. This soap has actually relieved me from sparing time for making a homemade paste of dry orange peel n milk. I've developed a huge passion for this soap and will be repurchasing it in the next bunch :)

Fuschia Tropical Alphonso Handmade Lip Balm Review

A lip balm that helps relieve chapped or cracked lips is a must-have in my bag during all seasons, especially in winters. I carefully choose lip balm that helps protecting my lips from the drying effects of wind and cold weather effectively.

Few days back, I got a nicely packed lipbalm from Fuschia in Tropical Alphonso flavour and I thought to treat myself with the delicious taste of Alphonso ;)

The organic beewax is the main ingredient that seals the moisture in lips.

My Experience:
My lips generally do not get chapped very very easily if I'm staying at home. But lately I have noticed that my lips get affected by the dry air, cold temperatures, and wind when I'm staying out for long hours due to varied reasons. Obviously, these are the factors that all have a drying effect on our skin, particularly our lips coz the skin layer is very thin.

The day when I got this lipbalm, I applied a thick layer on my lips before going to bed so that the lips feel generously hydrated over the period of few hours when I'm not eating anything. And I realized that I have correctly judged the effectiveness of this lip balm. I wake up to a softer, lipstick-ready pout the next morning. :) Infact the area around my lips was also better moisturized (which generally shows some dryness).

One very impressive point about this lip balm is that though it looks lemony yellow in color when you look at it; but when you apply it on your lips, its completely colorless. So not only you can twin use it as a perfect lip primer, but it can be used as a top coat on your lipcolor. Just apply a thin layer beneath any lipstick and the color will last longer and look more even :)

Yet another interesting fact about all Fuschia lip balms is that it can be used by anyone. By 'anyone' I mean, not only women can enjoy the kissable soft lips, but men can also keep their lips smooth with application of Fuschia lip balm.

The product also claims to use it on any part of the body to prevent moisture loss. So I tested the same on my elbows and found that the dry skin of this part of my body also appreciated its healing combination of natural oils. :)

And not to forget, it smells delicious exactly like a mango (I'm not sure if it also tastes like a mango, coz I have not tasted it as yet, just kidding)  ;) :P

1. I wish this lipbalm is available in stick or tube form which can be applied directly coz swiping finger on the lipbalm seems to be uneasy as well as unhygienic.

Overall Thoughts:
Fuschia Tropical Alphonso Lip Balm is a ready-to-use remedy to avoid signs of dryness, pain and swelling on lips as the temperature starts to drop & you can say goodbye to chapped lips this season.
