Hi

Today's post is the review of a nourishing blend of many oils into an aromatic composition from Ayorma.
Product Details:
Bring dry, dull and damaged hair back to life with this hair fall control oil that reduces hair fall and strengthens hair. this unique blend of oils also deeply moisturizes, detangles, softens and conditions to improve the overall texture of hair. Lemongrass oil prevents hair breakage & promotes hair growth. spanish rosemary oil increases blood circulation in the scalp and enhances root strength. Almond oil provides nourishment and shine.
Price: Rs 399. Can be bought here.
Qty: 100 ml

Ingredients:
Sunflower oil, Lavender Oil, Lemongrass Oil, Rosemary Oil, Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Avocado Oil, Vitamin E.
My take on the product:
The Ayorma Hairfall Control Hair Oil is a colorless oil that is bottled in a transparent cylindrical packaging. The color theme of the packaging is kept similar to their complete range of products. The bottle has golden flip open cap. The cap has good grip to keep the liquid safe inside. The bottle is packed in a cardboard box which details every information expected.

As I mentioned above, the oil is an aromatic composition of so many oils to lend their best result to our hair, it turns to be so luxuriously scented. My nose has now settled for such ayurvedic aromas, but may be strong for some. I massage my scalp with this oil twice a week and as always leave it overnight to get optimum benefit. The blend of oils not only nourishes my scalp, but shifts my mind to a relaxing mode due to its excellent formulation using spa oils that I can inhale while having it on my hair.
The oil is basically prepared for hairfall control but brings in many other advantages. The dryness of hair is quite controlled with regular massage. The hair are left with so soft feel after headbath that you really feel like touching them and smile ;) It gives natural luster and bounce to my hair and detangling gets easy too.

You may choose to apply it after washing your hair, but I prefer using it before headbath. After a month or so, you will notice less number of hair strands fallen on your floor as the hair are strengthened from the roots. I am quite happy with the improved texture and quality of my hair now & will continue using this ayurvedic oil to promote hair growth.

Pros:
unique blend of nourishing oils.
gives natural shine and bounce to hair.
no use of preservatives.
leaves hair soft and less-tangled.
reduces hair fall.
easy to use packaging.

Cons:
might be expensive for some, but it asks for this price due to excellent spa oils used.

Ayorma Fairness and Anti-Tan Mist Review

Hi

Sharing my views on a revitalizing face mist from Ayorma's range today..

Product Info:
This cleanses your skin of excess oil and dirt and is very good for oily or pimple-prone skin. Feel refreshed by spraying 1 or 2 spritz of Ayorma face mist on those hot & sunny days. Easy to carry, this mist revitalizes your skin & rejuvenates your spirit.
Key Ingredients:
Peppermint Oil controls excess oil.
French Lavender Oil soothes the skin.
Turmeric for skin-lightening.

How to Use:
Spray the mist all over the face and neck.Wipe off with cotton, tissue or a clean cloth.
Price: Rs 249 for 100 ml
My take on the product:
Mists are my recent favourites because my nose is sensitive to strong fragrances of perfumes and deodorants..Most of the times, I avoid using them at all as I start sneezing immediately upon spraying :P But the mists have been really kind to me and cause me no such trouble.

Ayorma Fairness and Anti-Tan Mist comes in a transparent plastic bottle. It follows the same color theme identical to most of Ayorma's product range. The bottle has golden neck and white pump-dispenser. There is a transparent cap to keep the nozzle free from dust and other impurities. This cap is tight enough that won't fall off until you take it off.
I will begin my review with a mention of its aroma which is so rejuvenating to instantly freshen you up. Earlier when I used the face mists, I just used to spritz it once or twice on my face and leave it on my skin to settle it there. But its for the first time that I wiped it off with a tissue following the usage instructions on the bottle. True to its claims, it has quite refreshing and light feel on skin and gives cleansed look with toned skin.

I have no issue like excessive oil on my facial skin, so not able to comment whether it helps to control it or not. You may use it as a makeup-setter if you spritz it on your face without wiping it off after your makeup is done.
Though the toner has alcohol content in it, but enriched with beneficial ingredients like lavender oil and turmeric, this mist is a well-formulated toner. It adds required amount of moisture on the skin and lightens the skin with prolonged use.

Pros:
Smells good.
Natural ingredients.
Lightens skin tone if used regularly.
Not so expensive.
See-through packaging.
For all skin types.
No paraben preservatives

Cons:
Alcohol content

Under Eye Care Regimen With Ayorma

Hi

Getting to try new things is something that excites me a lot as a blogger. There are very few occasions when I resist myself using a product our of inherent apprehensions... because till date most of the products that I have tested and tried on myself come from natural/ ayurvedic/ organic/ mineral range from elite brands.

In past few days, I had introduced a premium brand Ayorma on my blog that is a heavenly union of Aromatherapy and Ayurveda to guarantee you a Spa-like experience at home. I had already reviewed its anti-tan facewash for attaining beautiful facial skin. But there is something on our face which makes it more expressive i.e. our eyes. Besides taking all the good care of our face with religious CTM routine, we need to give equal importance to our eyes too.

Ayorma sent me two of their eye-care products i.e Under Eye Mild Scrub and  Under Eye Cream. Upon receiving these, I was bit amazed to know that the brand has crafted a distinct under eye-scrub apart from the one used for entire face. I'm still not sure whether we really need to have a separate scrub for eyes. But then, I decided to go ahead :)

Ayorma Mild Under Eye Scrub
A mild daily scrub for the eyes that gently exfoliates dead skin cells and impurities around the delicate eye area and diminishes the look of dark circles, shadows and fine lines giving it a luminous glow.
Ingredients (Scrub):
  • Licorice & Turmeric: : It helps remove darkness or tanning under the eyes and reduces melanin production. It has the property of imparting natural glow and radiance.
  • French Lavender Oil is obtained through distillation from flower spikes of certain species of Lavender. This oil is known to soothe itchy skin because of its anti fungal properties.
  • Orange Peel oil, a well known anti oxidant and anti aging ingredient. It helps the skin to look firmer and smoother by deep exfoliation.
  • Geranium oil for toning of skin.

  • Ayorma Under Eye Cream:
A moisturizing eye cream that works instantly and overtime to diminish the look of dark circles, shadows and fine lines. The luxurious SPA oils hydrate and calm the eye area.
    Ingredients (Under Eye Cream):
    • Saffron: one of the most expensive spices is said to reduce dark circles extensively. Saffron also protects the eyes from the direct effects of bright light.
    • Wheatgerm oil is a rich source of Vitamin E & Vitamin B. It has anti aging and anti oxidant properties. which helps repair tissue damage and promotes tissue growth.
    • Quinoa: It is exceptionally high in proteins resulting in a good balance of essential amino acids that detoxify and diminish puffiness of eyes.
    • Rose: It treats tired and fatigued eyes and adds a natural sparkle to your eyes.
    My experience with the products:
The under eye scrub is a formulation made out of mild exfoliant orange peel. The scrub is in lightest shade of brown n offwhite. It has minute exfoliants in red color that you can see after a closer look at the pic below. The scrub gives a cooling sensation on application under eyes. It just relaxes your fatigued eyes and doesn't cause inflammation or watery eyes. I like to have it massaged in gentle strokes as it removes all the impurities to impart smiling eyes instantly. Using the scrub is also helpful in cleaning residue of eye makeup.
The exfoliant granules may look far scattered and less in number, but they very much feel on skin. Moreover, I think having them more in number will lose the purpose because the skin under our eyes in much more delicate than other body parts.
Not to forget a mention of delightful fragrance in the scrub which may seem somewhat stronger to sensitive people, but I liked it.
Post scrubbing, I take a break of few minutes and then apply little quantity of Ayorma Under Eye Cream. The under eye cream is similar to the scrub is color and consistency, but I didn't like its medicinal smell much, but its not intolerable. Since I apply this cream after scrubbing, it gets easier for the cream to penetrate into the skin. The most common issue of puffy eyes can be kept at bay if you strictly go by this routine. This cooling scrub and cream combo certainly does go some way to reduce the appearance of fine lines around the eye area and reduces the intensity of dark circles. These hero products from Ayorma, when used in perfect combination help smoothen your complexion of eyes' skin, resulting in a good help to keep your eye make-up in place as well. I can vouch for excellent ingredients like saffron, rose, quinoa etc. used in the infusion of eye cream that are destined to give good results.

The best thing about these products is that they are paraben and preservative free. There are many luxurious Spa oils to keep the eyes hydrated and relaxed. They come in a thin nozzled light-weight tube. The product can be directly applied on skin, making the packaging more convenient and hygienic.
You may include either of the products in your eye care regimen and may skip using both at one time. But it is advised to follow the complete steps to avail expected outcome. These products can be used daily.

Pricing & Qty: Both the products come in a 15gm tube packaging. The scrub is priced at 299/- and cream is priced at 349/-

Ayorma Fairness and AntiTan Facewash Review

What would you prefer to begin your day with natural n aromatic cleansing of your face...a usual commercially available product or an ayurvedic preparation with promise of better results? From the versatile product range of Ayorma, my first review talks about their Fairness and AntiTan Facewash ...

    Ingredients:
Licorice or Liquorice: It exhibits skin lightening effects through inhibition of melanin formation. It helps remove sun tan and skin darkening due to over exposure to the sun.

Curcuma or Turmeric: It has the property of imparting natural glow and radiance.

French Lavender Oil: It is imported exclusively from France. It exhibits anti fungal properties, soothes itchy skin, helps to destress the skin against environmental conditions.

Honey:  It is used as a treatment for dry, flaky skin since it possesses moisturizing properties. It makes the skin feel soft and supple.

Geranium Oil: It controls and balances the oil production of skin and helps keep it supple. It also imparts a natural glow to the skin.

Orange Peel oil: This oil is a great natural source of Vitamin C, a well known anti oxidant and anti aging ingredient. It promotes the production of collagen, which helps the skin to look firmer and smoother.
Price n Qty : Rs 199 for 50 ml. Can be ordered here.
    Shelf Life: 2 yrs

    Packaging:
Bright color theme of green and golden is something I liked about Ayorma products. The facewash comes in a soft plastic tube. The white colored text is easily readable on green background color.
    My take on the product:
The facewash is a golden brown thick liquid. The first thing you notice holding the facewash pack in your hand is its tranquilizing aroma. You may even smell it without opening the tube cap. I was expecting it to be very strong for my senses. But it actually didn't irritate me upon application, rather felt quite soothing.
The facewash is moderately lathery. Its not harsh being crafted from many natural ingredients. The beautiful green beads in the facewash not only make it good to look at, but offer a mild exfoliating effect to skin. Unlike, many facewashes which I have used earlier, its not causing skin imbalance by disturbing the natural oil production by the skin.
Consistent use of the facewash promotes suppleness of skin to last longer and contributes to enjoy tan-free skin. Using the facewash regularly prevents different skin issues like itchiness etc. and imparts smoother n glowing skin. The facewash is suitable to all skin types and can be used by men n women both, so worth giving it a try.
    Pros:
    Light weight packing.
    Tranquilizing aroma.
    Suits all skin types.
    Gentle cleanser.
    Mild exfoliating beads.
Available in stores at selected cities and being sold online.
    Crafted from Spa Oils.

    Cons:
    A bit expensive.
