VLCC Diamond Polishing Face Scrub Review

Hello Everyone

I just noticed that VLCC skin care products have a Jewel Radiance category of products where some products with choicest ingredients like gold and diamond have been formulated for suppleness of complexion.

I received the VLCC Diamond Polishing Face Scrub in my new skin care kit which I unboxed here on my Youtube channel. Have a look at the product.
Product Description:
Diamond – the precious gem has been traditionally known as a woman’s best friend. Diamond Bhasma or ash obtained through heating and pulverizing diamonds with herbs is an excellent skin purifier and hydrator, while Jojoba Oil is known nature’s most efficient moisturiser. Created with these two key ingredients, this precious scrub by VLCC helps detoxify the skin from within, gently remove the dirt and grime from the epidermal layer and leave it soft and conditioned.

Usage:Apply the scrub all over the face. Massage gently in upward and outward circular movements for at least 5-7 minutes. Use water if needed and be very soft and gentle with the strokes. Wipe off with moist cotton.

Ingredients:
Light liquid paraffin, Dicaprylyl carbonate, Fumed Silica, PEG/PPG-8/3 Di-isostearate, Simmondsiachinensis (Jojoba) oil, Neopentyl Glycol Diethyhexanoate, Di-isostearyl Malate, Silica Gel, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Butylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Mica Dust, Tocopheryl acetate (Vitamin E), , Perfume.

I've been using this scrub for a week now and the experience has been something like this...
The scrub comes in a simple plastic tube. The see-through tube shows the glittery product inside. The packaging is light-weight and well-lockable using flip cap, so can be easily carried along anywhere.
The scrub belongs to clear gel type and has thick consistency. The micro granules in the scrub are too mild that they don't show up their presence quite obviously. But the moment you spread and rub the scrub on your face, the effect of using a scrub is surely felt. This scrub is not abrasive or corsly gritty, yet does exfoliates the skin gently without hurting the skin.
Now, when I start rinsing your face off after a thorough massage of scrub on my face, I found my face feeling 'reasonably' greasy n oily. I swear this is the only scrub (used till date) that has left a buttery effect post wash on my face. For people who have extremely dry skin like mine, will find it a blessing in disguise as there is absolutely NO need of any moisturization after using this scrub and so it doubles up as a emollient too. But on the other hand, its not advisable for oily skin at all. Normal skin people may give it a shot depending on the condition of their skin during change of season etc when a hydrating layer is required.

The product claims to be infused with diamond bhasma that fights premature ageing. In a week-long usage, I'm unsure of any such effect on my skin, but certainly there is something uniquely effective in this formula that I'm liking other than its soothing, mild fragrance.
