Oriflame Seductive Musk EDT- Fragrance for Sensual Women

Just two days to go and then it's the time of the year when we celebrate all wonderful smelling things in this world, especially perfumes. I'm talking about National Fragrance Day that is observed on March 21 every year in different parts of the world. The significance of this day is to recall and relive those precious emotional feelings that are associated with human sense of smell. I'm sure all of us have experienced that certain fragrances reel us back to the memories of days that we enjoyed/missed the most. Perhaps it was the scent of the baby powder on your newborn or the aroma of spices when mom cooked your fav curry.

This Fragrance Day, I've gifted myself Oriflame Seductive Musk EDT that is decidedly my favourite scent so far.

Oriflame Seductive Musk EDT comes in a sleek pink coloured cardboard box with rose flowers print.  

The glass bottle holding the perfume has a golden cap. The shape of the bottle looks elegant with similar purple rose flowers printed over it. Purple roses signify enchantment and love at first sight; and that may happen with you for this fragrance too ;)

This fragrance features main notes of Musk, Cashmeran and Rose that presents an unusual and distinctive scent to your senses. It's tricky to call the perfume floral or woody when worn on your skin. The lightly spicy notes blended well with less powdery composition please me with its velvety feel that lasts for many hours. Though the warmth of the perfume doesn't remain equally strong the whole day, but a long trail of moderately strong aroma can be smelled by a mild sensitiser like me. I'm not a big fan of pure rose fragrance, so Seductive Musk EDT scores great for me because it only invokes rosy side very gently.

The fragrance is not too aggressive to forbid being worn at work. You may only be a attention-grabber not an attention-spolier when it's worn. I often put it on while going out these days and I must say this scent made sure it doesn't go unnoticed.

Oriflame Men Cool Lavender Review

Cool Lavender is a new addition in Oriflame fragrances that is launched this year. The fragrance belongs to the masculine section, but I got it for myself because I desperately wanted a good Lavender scent for myself.

So here is the composition of this fragrance-
Top Notes: Mint, Black Pepper.
Middle Notes: Lavender.
Base Notes: Amber, Woody.

Cool Lavender comes in a crystal clear glass bottle that looks appealing and catchy without any fancy adornments. The bottle is packed in decent cardboard box in light color theme. I feel the packaging of the perfume is of equal importance as the perfume itself.

Seashore Lavender is the inspiration and the heart of this invigorating scent. It smells just perfect on me without being too masculine. I personally don't prefer sharp scents that start giving me unpleasant feel in my nose and throat after some time. I'm happy that Cool Lavender didn't make me feel uncomfortable in that way. The vitality of the fragrance casts a magical spell on the wearer :) 

I love how this clean fragrance can be worn in the most elegant and utterly correct way on any ocassion. Be it your official meeting, family outing or a romantic dinner; spraying crisp Cool lavender makes you feel confident of smelling wonderful.

When used by Mr. Hubby on a few ocassions, the base notes of the scent so dynamically swirled into woody notes and complimented the manly appeal one would aspire. Talking straight, this gorgeous scent lifts you up in one quick spritz. 

For me, the longevity is good 4-5 hours and I won't be looking for a scent that I may smell even after washing my clothing. 

Be warned you can't miss loving Cool Lavender once tested ;) I bet you would totally love as it opens with celebratory hit of pure seashore lavender and settle to a soft woody base. It's an ideal 'everyday' fragrance day time, night time and everything in between.

Oriflame Flamboyant Privé Review - Fragrance For Men

Hey guys

Time for a new review for a manly fragrance from Oriflame...I got an opportunity to own Flamboyant Prive last month that actually turned out to be a perfect choice for the spring and summer months for its playful effect. Read below about the perfumery notes that made me like this fragrance very much. 

About Flamboyant:

A confident, unique fragrance for the man with a luxury lifestyle. Some men dream it, the flamboyant man lives it. Spicy scent of bergamot, mandarin with a wood mix and hints of salt accords of the sea.

Fragrance Composition:

The new fragrance opens with a citrusy blend of Bergamot and Mandarin along with sweet, juicy Fruity top notes. The heart/middle notes incorporates Sea Salt combined with Sea Air and Geranium, while the base closes the composition with Oak Moss, Vetiver and Musk.

Using Flamboyant Prive for the first time felt like it was transported to my favourite holiday destination enjoying a beach party and left me surrounded with a calming effect. I looked and felt like a happy soul sitting at my office desk on a crazy day and loved the fresh burst of this fragrance all the day long. Don't be surprised when I say, I've been guilty of distracting my colleagues with the potent scent. The interesting mix of Bergamot and Geranium in the fragrance worked as an ideal office wear scent. The traces of the scent stay on to give you a fresh n energized feeling the whole day.

Since warmer weather demanded a lighter approach to my signature scent, I thought of playing safe by replacing my heavy colognes that I usually sport during the colder months and mind you, it was a wise decision I made. This scent with its refined and balanced notes of Vetiver and Musk adds to my sporty, energetic side after a workout, during a movie show with family or while on a drive with friends. 

The musculine yet seductive appeal of a gentleman certainly gets wild when you wear Flamboyant's mysterious and dramatic fragrance to celebrate your love relationship. Every time you wear this scent, you experience an irresistible urge to indulge in its magic deeper. It's one of the most aggressive scent that I cannot take off. It's a charismatic accessory to instantly feel high-spirited.

I also liked the clear glass luxury yacht inspired poker chip embedded in bottle with the unique silver cap that looks appealing without any embellishment. 

I'm totally baffled by the overwhelming number of choices at the Oriflame Fragrance counter, but I bet these citrusy fragrances being the best of the lot give you the desired mood-lifting effect that you expect from them.

Some men dream it. The Flamboyant Man lives it.
