Taking time for my busy schedule today to share my views on one more Nelf Cosmetics new launch i.e. a concealer.

Product Description: 

With Nelf's concealer sticks, no need for Photoshop to have a Supermodel skin. Use it to conceal dark under-eye circels and freckles, or use it to hide blemishes & red blotches. It will even your skin tone & cover imperfections.Easy to apply, in any occasion, just pop it out of your bag and apply as and when needed.

Ingredients: (shown in the pic below)

Application:
Slightly turn the bottom part of the pack to reveal the concealer. Apply directly to desired areas and blend with fingertips. Can be worn alone or under make-up.

My Experience:
The Nelf Concealer comes in twist-up stick format. It has overall black packaging including the cap, so you need to remove the cap to have a look at the actual shade.
It has a black outer carton as well to refer to all the info regarding ingredients, price, quantity etc.

The stick shaped concealers are my personal favourite as they are more convenient to apply for spot correction than a liquid concealer. Its also not messy and easy to carry around. The concealer bullet shape is rounded which could have been better to touch up narrow area of the face like corners of eyes.

The brand has launched the concealer in three shades right now. These are numbered as just 1, 2 and 3. I wish they should be given some shade names as well that can refer to skin tone they are meant for. Also I expect more number of shades to come up in future to find the closest match to everyone's skin tone.
Coming to the product performance now, I received the concealer in Shade 02. My prime purpose to use a concealer is to hide my dark circles mostly. Looking at the product, it seemed lighter than my natural skin tone which I was skeptical to use initially.
Upon application, I found the product quite creamy in texture. I used my fingers to blend it onto skin by gently tapping my finger (not smearing or massaging it) and it set pretty quickly with a matte finish without any unwanted shine. It gives medium to high coverage depending on the coverage you need for your concerns.  Its quite important to set the concealer with finely milled pressed powder to increase its effective duration. The concealer stays for really good 5+ hours with minor creasing that needs to be corrected. I realized after few uses that using one shade lighter than my skin tone actually helped me compensate the darkness around my eyes.
The concealer claims to have foundation effect in it, but you can't rely on it alone for creating that refined look.
I'm yet to use the popular beauty blender tools and test how naturally it blends with sponge etc because its in transit right now.. Hoping for some new experiment soon ;)

Today I'll review the newly launched Perfect Lighting Waterproof Primer by Nelf Cosmetics.

Application :

A transparent cap covers the bottle upto its neck. The easy-to-use dispenser lets you take out controlled quantity for each usage and avoids any wastage. The bottle is packed in cardboard box that has price, ingredients details printed on it.
I expected the bottle also to have the information labeled on it as well as we cannot keep the outer box forever..

Why to use a face primer?
As the weather heats up, the need of water proof or sweat proof beauty products rises too; so that the makeup we put on stays longer in place. One of the beauty product that most women overlook in their makeup routine is a face primer that can actually do the needful. Infact, I also did the same for many years and had a misconception that the effects of primer can only be reaped by oily skin people. So before I review this product today, I would like to mention here that a face primer is basically a light lotion to be applied before any another cosmetic on face to improve coverage and longevity of the cosmetic we use and all skin types stand to benefit in some way when applied.

So here I share how Nelf face primer behaved on my skin...

My Experience:
The Nelf's primer is a clear gel with no color of its own. The viscosity of the gel is medium to high. I dab just a small amount of this invisible gel prior to any makeup on my face and use my fingers to blend it evenly. It feels absolutely weightless, non-greasy and doesn’t clog the pores. It transforms my face into a smooth, flawless canvas to work upon. The primer contains bit of silicone which is great to keep the skin fresh-looking.

The primer magically absorbs excess oil (if any) and mattifies the skin. It reduces the appearance of large pores to some extent and gives your skin just the right texture.

If you expect the primer to color-correct your complexion, it may disappoint you because this is a neutral, non-tinted primer. But for me, it turned out to be an added benefit, because when the foundation was applied over the layer of primer, it got so easy to effortlessly blend the foundation on a slippery facial base without any decoloration of foundation in any way.. Though my skin is not allergy or acne prone, but the primer caused me no irritation.

I'm positively continuing using this primer that can hold my makeup with a nice pearly finish. The only thing that I wished to have is a small dose of SPF in this primer to make it an ideal makeup specially for hotter weather. 

In all, Nelf's face primer is a great holding agent for your makeup to stay put for good number of hours, refine your skin texture with matte effect and prevent fading your gorgeous makeup look.

My Dining Essentials Purchase From Limeroad

It might not be anything new for you to find me post about my shopping experience here. I usually shop for apparels, footwear, accessories, makeup etc from my favourite online shopping portals & love sharing my experience with my readers.

My Second Experience With Skin 18 Products

Skin18 had sent me few of their excellent face mask sheet few months back. I liked using them so much that I also did a giveaway in their collaboration so that my lovely readers could also try these Korean beauty products. Some time back I urged the brand to give me a chance to try some more products and I was sent another set of products including a Todak Todak Wash Off Mask, two mask sheets and two nose cleansing strips.

I was most excited to try these Nose Cleansing Strips. These Nose Cleansing strips come in small pouches containing one strip each.

Out of the Charcoal and Lemon Tea Tree variants which I received, I decided to use Charcoal one first because Charcoal is good for dry skin.
Before you place the strip on your nose, you need to remove the clear plastic liner and make you nose wet so that the strip may stick on the skin of nose area. Make sure the smooth side of the strip is put down touching the nose.

If the strip doesn't stick properly, you may put some water topically and wait for around 20 minutes to let it dry on skin. As the strip starts getting stiff on skin, peel it off from corners towards center.

The Charcoal Nose Cleansing strip really worked very well to remove most blackheads without any pain that we usually bear when done it at salons. It unclogs the pores, removes dirt and dead skin around nose. The skin doesn't feel hurt as it has soothing ingredients like Aloe Vera extracts, Vitamin E etc. It lifts away all kind of impurities and the area around nose is absolutely cleansed in just one use. The natural minerals of charcoal prevent blackheads to appear again and vitalizes the skin.

Another product that I got was Todak Todak Wash Off Pack. I received the Pomegranate & Shea Butter variant. It comes in a cute tub sealed on the top containing refreshing pink color jelly like product.

I massaged the required quantity of pack on cleansed face for a minute or so and left it to dry. While on my face, I may smell mild scent. It has to be washed off after 10-15 minutes. This pack is full of vitamins and estrogen, so helps to restore firmness of skin on regular use. The shea butter effectively gives moisturizing texture to my dry skin.
Each package contains 10 ml of quantity which is sufficient for 2-3 applications. Since there are many variants available, each of these little pack is worth trying.

I remember how much I loved their face mask sheets which I had received in my first package. So on receiving two new variants this time again, I couldn't wait any more and used the Green Gram Natural Essence Mask.

The Green Grams are meant for maintaining skin elasticity and keep the skin moist at the most optimum level. For making the mask more refreshing, I refrigerated it for few minutes before use. Color n Texture: Eyova oil is in mustard yellow color at look at. In the first look, you may find it similar to a thick pulpy fruit juice ;) The texture of the oil makes it really different from regular oils. Its viscosity is much higher than usual watery-thin runny oils.

Why I needed this:
My hair have been my bestest asset since forever. More than everybody else, I myself love my hair ;) And this is why I'm equally concerned about the health of my hair like I do for my skin. The usual condition of my hair cannot be considered too poor. But its always better to preempt the possibilities, and so I ensure I'm not missing my hair care regimen.

When I was sent the samples packs of Eyova Hair Oil, I was really optimistic for its results. We know nutrients-rich eggs can create wonders to improve the condition of hair if used in raw form or as a part of some hair treatment.

How I used the oil:
Eyova Egg oil, like I mentioned above, is a thick oil overall. Looking at the bottom of the bottle, you may notice minute particles settled there which is the much effective cholesterol. Do give the bottle a good shake before you apply the oil.
The only inhibition in my mind before applying the egg oil was its smell, which could have been my only reason for a complete No-No for this oil. To my surprise, the oil doesn't smell of pure eggs. It has sweet smell but that too is quite deep and intense. I really had to cover my nose during early applications until I got used to.

This is a scalp oil which I massage evenly on my scalp and comb my hair using a wide tooth brush so that the oil spreads along the length of hair as well and tie my hair in a bun above my head. The oil doesn't feel heavy upon rubbing and gets absorbed pretty quick. I mostly get my head massage done in the night and wash it next morning. But in case of this oil, I followed brand's recommendation to leave the oil on scalp for 3+ hours to let it work towards the areas of attention and then washed if off with a mild shampoo.

The smell of the oil doesn't go immediately after shampooing. It takes a day or two to get rid of the smell, but its easily tolerable after a head wash.
After 8-9 applications of oil, my dull and lifeless hair have started restoring natural moisture and are showing good sign of growth. I don't feel the need of using a conditioner either. The proteins, fatty acids and vitamins present in the eggs deliver right kind of nutrition to strengthen the hair. So it has reduced the hair fall to some extent in just twenty days of use.
I don't think the oil can address/reverse the issue of hair greying so promptly, because the grey strands here n there on my head are as unaffected. But since I'm quite positive about the product performance, I'm about to start using second bottle quite soon and expecting my lustrous long hair to optimize its health :)

Ethicare Remedies BBLite Cream Review
