Kraftly App - A Unique Mobile Marketplace

In an era dominated by 'Mobile Intelligent' people, every possible activity of our routine life is getting exposed to web-based applications. With hundreds of mobile apps available these days, it is difficult to choose the best one which offers trusted and reliable service. Recently, I read about a mobile marketplace that allows to buy and sell unique handcrafted products at the comfort of your home. Obviously, I was curious to give it a try.

With uncertainty in my mind about the platform compatibility, I explored Play Store on my Android phone and felt happy to find the "K" icon shining bright(the good news is that the app is available at Apple Store too)As usual, I checked the size of the app before I could touch the Install button and realized that the App is not going to eat up lot of data in my phone (well, I need to be smart while utilize my limited internet data).
Signing up with Facebook saved me some precious time and I was digging for the reasons what features can excite my shopaholic soul ;)
Kraftly presents colourful Shops to display quirky items scattered among categories. The flawless navigation through product categories is the matter of a soft touch. I enjoyed creating my own Collection to keep a track of my favourite items that I shortlisted to order.

Kraftly also enhances the shopping experience by searching and browsing for products using location as a filter. Not just that, a buyer can directly interact with a seller and ask for details of specific item before placing an order. Isn't it just amazing? This Ask Seller feature is certainly a feather in the Kraftly cap.

Other than usual Payment options provided, Kraftly gives the buyer liberty to directly deposit the money into seller's wallet and avail the item at relatively lesser price.

The Kraftly story doesn't end here ;) The cherry on the cake is that a user earns 500 free rewards points on Signing Up, and also by sharing the App on Facebook and Twitter as well as by inviting the friends. These rewards can be used to make payments for the purchases. The user can check the record of his earnings under My Credits option.

A list of active coupons by different sellers with clearly mentioned Expiry Date is yet another attraction to tempt buyers like me ;)
Using Kraftly as a buyer had been a smooth run all through. For the people willing to unveil the app for selling something, its an effortless process of few minutes to create your shop without any formal documentation required :)  Kraftly ensures a completely transparent transaction follow-up for the genuine sellers.
Kraftly has definitely emerged as a unique app-only marketplace of India and is gaining attention due to its systematic methodology to operate in online business.

Hazy Sky and Crazy Food

When it's a day quite cloudy n misty out there, the feelings are not same as we have on a sunny day. I believe most people will agree with me. Life seems something else in such beautiful weather. The pains, sorrows, discomforts fade away for some time atleast. Joy and pleasure start flowing in your heart with positive energy. And when your head n heart are all soaked in heavenly surroundings, there comes a demand of some lip smacking food from your family to enjoy the rainy day. But hey, dare you think I am talking about those traditional snack offerings prepared by mom that most of us enjoyed in our childhood days like aaloo-pyaaz ke pakode, sooji ka halwa and stuffed bread pakodas. There were so simple delicacies to fit into our menu. But unfortunately, sitting down to a home cooked meal has become a forgotten story these days. Specially youngsters crave for convenience food or fast food that can be consumed posing in a style in party mood whatever is the situation...

It was that time of the year again..the season of hot masala tea, garma garam pakodas and rendezvous under umbrellas. I had just returned home from work while enjoying drizzling on the way...that the black stormy clouds covered the sky and the weather got dense with that grey sheet of rain... I was about to make tea for myself and mom that the doorbell rang repeatedly. I went into fury, about to shout on the person on the other side of the door, that I saw my brother and his friends all drenched in rain. Before I could even utter a word, they all ran inside to brother's room while my brother whispered in my ear "Di, you were telling me to avoid street food in monsoon and since it was pouring today, I thought we have a good reason to stay in with the aroma of sizzling snacks made by you. And please don't limit yourself to traditional pakodas..Do try something which makes the rains memorable.." It ignited the furious streak in me, but now it was a prestige issue for me. Mom came forward to offer her help in chopping, serving etc. Because despite being an amazing cook, she avoids experimenting with hip food items of today's trend.

Anyhow, gazing at the overcast skies, I remembered my deity and decided to please this group of hungry tummies with mom's specialities with slight twist. On asking for their preferences, two of them even expressed their liking for non-veg stuff that I politely refused because ours is a purely vegetarian family. The boys readily agreed to my proposal of enjoying something spicy, tangy, sweet and sour that evening.

Mom quickly prepared lightly-fried pancakes in maple syrup and I topped it up with hot chocolate garnished with chopped nuts for a new variant. For that matter of crunchy delight, mom customized wheat tortilla by stuffing it veggies, corns and cheese mixed in sauces. Then to spice up the celebration at home, we served them crispy Daal Vadas which were made by mixing boiled chana daal (that was in process of cooking for lunch that afternoon), mashed potatoes, chopped onions and chillies. Expecting that the food tasted just the apt, mom n me entered the room and the boys were like "its been such a fulfilling party that we never expected can be managed at such short notice. Hats off to your culinary skills. You have proved that there is nothing you can’t handle - including our monsoon blues."

My food fix had been managed successfully with efforts of my supporting mom that day. Had she not been there, I definitely needed a savior and order food online...Yes! there are many mobile apps these days that save your day. Hey, Now 'Fashion' has got personal !!

At one time or another; looking at someone's obsolete dressing style, you might have said, “oops, that looks 100 years old.” But believe me or not; there was a time when 'fashion' was not something with which an ordinary person could ever relate to...

Even I have happy memories of my childhood days seeing my stay-at-home mom sewing lovely frocks for me n my sisters out of fabric remnants when we were growing up... Most of the times, we the sisters, used to feel happy wearing same frocks without any feeling of awkwardness (like the cute pic below). Well the truth is that we hardly ever thought of buying any designer clothes or branded outfits. We were actually not dying for 'real' labels on our dresses.
But the entire economics of home-sewn clothing changed the day when that poor female tailor settled her workstation with a paddled sewing machine in our lane. The lady simply wanted to use her skills to earn her livelihood. Ultimately my family also became a part of the community who dared to get the stitch-fixed outside the boundaries of house with some novel ideas except for the occasional purchased piece.

Gradually, the yester-years' fashion story evolved due to the constant changes in the world around us. The fashion of present day gives us more freedom than ever. Today's fashion is dramatically influenced by worldwide events. None of us wants to look same as of other person. Everybody is struggling to make his/her mark in the world of fashionistas. At times, I wonder how major fashion trends get hot n hotter & suddenly cool off and then heat up once again after passage of time. Isn't it a marvelous feeling to witness this cyclical trend of fashion...

Atleast I enjoy speaking of fashion and flaunting it in my way. Though I keep a check on my spending to avoid digging a hole in my wallet because fashion has been called as the force behind most discretionary spending ;) But how can I stop myself getting inspired from extravagantly embellished dressing n accessories of popular celebs of typical Indian cinema (female instinct you see) ;)

Even I manage to spare some leisurely moments at work to flip my fav online portals like flipkart, myntra, snapdeal etc on my laptop to quickly check out the lucrative deals and order some cool stuff for myself. In recent times, the smartphone apps technology has actually turned smartphone users into smart shoppers as well. I have also got some wonderful shopping apps on my mobile like myntra, and make a point to explore it especially when a deal notification beeps & excites me to the core.
I admit myself being mobile app shopaholic now :P Its not because of the increased comfort level, but because I value my precious time too. The mobile shopping apps help me take informed decisions because I always compare product prices, read buyers' reviews and even get feedback on social media while shopping. Though a nominal shipping cost is payable, I am pleased to use mobile apps to bypass sales people in retail stores.

Just one caution that I personally take and also suggest to every online buyer to make their shopping experience pleasant, is to be aware of shopping ethics and protect yourself from problems like hacking and identity theft.

Overall, the mobile apps are the next best thing that is the future of personalized shopping-on-the-go that promises to deliver whenever and wherever you want, because when you think of fashion, trust me #ItsPersonal now :)
