Nelf HD Triple Effect Makeup Review (Shade 04)

A few days back, I shared that Nelf Cosmetics is about o launch its 3D makeup products line soon. Also I had reviewed the Kissproof Lipcolor from this range last week. Today I've got a chance to talk about Nelf Triple Effect Makeup.

This product is basically meant for face makeup, but is a multi-functional product. The packaging and look of the product is similar to a Compact. It's a square kit in classic black color with white letters on it. No embellishment or adornments, just simple packaging; which I find quite decent. The product kit is enclosed in a black cardboard box externally.

The packaging opens into a dual-layered kit. The top opening has a mirror and the compact cake; while the bottom layer has a rectangular applicator sponge. The kit doesn't open loosely. It's easy-to-carry and travel friendly packaging.

The product is a creamy formula (don't confuse it with a powdered one). So the technique I follow to apply this is to use my finger for dotting the product on my face and neck & then blend it well using the sponge provided within the kit. I'm glad that the sponge has replaced the traditional puff that is better accompanied with powdered compact. The product would need little effort to blend properly, else looks patchy.

The compact that I received is in Shade 04 which looked slightly fairer for my skin tone when in the packaging, but upon application created a flawless base for further makeup. I primed my skin using Nelf Primer before using the product, otherwise my skin looks drier and too matte. Since the product is yet to be launched, I'm unaware of availability of other shades.

The reason why it is called a Triple Effect Makeup product is that it would serve as a concealer, foundation and compact. It effectively covers skin imperfections like light marks, blemish etc and stays put for 4-5 hours. I like using it for giving 'no makeup look' effect to my face for everyday purpose. But the women who love heavy coverage would also find it appealing.

To sum up, Nelf HD Triple Effect Makeup is a fabulous product to combine three functionalities into one step, especially when you're packing your stuff for travelling and wanna reduce your makeup kit's weight.

The product priced at Rs 825 is expensive as compared to some other good brands, but is worth a try if the shade is good to suit your skin tone.

The bags are further packed in beautifully decorated sacks with string fastening.

Fuschia Blush Face Mask Review

A facial mask is one of my preferred skin care product to transform my skin into clearer irresistible one. So getting to try a Rose & Calamine mask from Fuschia on myself was certainly a welcome offer to cleanse my skin.

The mask comes in a transparent, plastic tub with metalic screw cap. The tub has wide opening, so it's super easy to scoop out the product while using. The packaging is light-weight and unbreakable, so no worries even if you mishandle it occasionally ;)
I wish the packaging should be improved because I couldn't find any label on it mentioning price, mfg date and expiry date etc. which is definitely an important read before using a product.

The mask is of deep pink color and has thick texture. It exactly resembles the soaked Multani Mitti in texture. Due to its semi-solid kind of texture, it won't spill if the container is flipped upside down.

Ingredients:

Rose Water, Kaolin Light, China Clay, Calamine Powder, Glycerin, Aloe Vera, Bentonite Powder, Vitamin E.

This variant of Fuschia face mask is enriched with different natural active ingredients like Rose Water, Kaolin Light, China Clay, Calamine Powder etc which impart the product their unique properties.

The mask is quite easy to spread in a thin layer on skin without requirement of diluting it, provided you use your fingers to apply it evenly. Those who prefer using brush to apply mask may have to mix plain water or rose water to lighten its consistency. On application of the mask on your skin, there is mild cooling sensation that doesn't sting your skin or eyes at all. It smells of rose but not very strong. Leave the mask over your skin and relax for 15-20 minutes. It dries up pretty quick and can be rinsed with plain water. It's recommended to use this masks once or twice a week.

After I rinsed my face, I had to moisturize the skin generously since Kaolin Clay is one of the most powerful absorbent and reduces the oil and grease of your skin. China clay is too good to detoxify the skin and acts like a cleansing agent. One can use the mask to heal the damage caused by inflammation and to get rid of acne and pimples. It tightens the pores and draws impurities. This mask purifies, vitalizes and boosts the cell renewal rate of the skin thereby making the skin breathe well.

In short, Fuschia Blush Face Mask is an ideal skin care preparation for acne-prone and oily skin types. The mild properties of the mask do not cause any side-effects (though a patch test is always recommended.)

NELF Kissproof Professional Lip Color Review

Nelf Cosmetics,one of the fastest growing cosmetic company in India, is coming up with its new HD (High Definition) product range shortly. This HD range will offer products for full face makeup including face, eyes and lips :) Out of this 'to-be-introduced' cosmetics range, Nelf sent me two products for review.

Today, I'm up with a review on their Kissproof Professional Lip Color.

This lipcolor is a actually a liquid formula which are in-vogue these days. It comes in a cylindrical glass bottle that is transparent and the color identity is evident from outside. There is an easy-to-use applicator attached to the screw cap that lets you fill the lips. The glass bottle further is contained in a black cardboard box on which price label, mfg date and shade number is mentioned. The ingredients list is missing from bottle as well as the outer carton.

The lipcolor has a creamy texture that spreads effortlessly on lips using the applicator. While my first application, I expected it to be sticky. But it feels lightweight on lips. Give it a few minutes, and you'll be amazed to see how magically the lipcolor sets to a complete natural matte finish. I mean, I was really surprised to see the transformation. A full-coverage pigmentation is another plus for this product, requires no layering up to build color.

Talking about the shade of lipcolor, this one (no. 101) is a nude shade which doesn't compliment my skin a lot. probably, it's because I don't wear any makeup on my face. But I recommend creating a bold nude lip statement to balance a sultry or smoky eye look for those who master eye-makeup ;) I blend/layer nude lipcolor with a bolder one so as to suit my dusky complexion.

Now comes the most amazing thing, this lipcolor that claims to be Kissproof actually lasts really long despite being a silky liquid formula. I had my usual intake of water and tea etc during the day, but it didn't come off or fade. Yeah! I kissed my boy with his permission (who ensure No Lippie on my lips) and it didn't transfer :)

Highly recommend for its long wearing capability (specially when you don't have time for frequent touch ups)

For a price tag of INR 450 (will be available on Nelf website soon), the lipcolor works to the precision of a Professional. My only wish is to own some other shades that may brighten my skin tone.

RAW Pressery Bloggers Haul, Chandigarh

It's pretty easy to pick the desired liner from your makeup organizer, if you place them rightly.

Speaking about the usage, the retractable pen is quite convenient as no sharpening is required. Just rotate the pen and the product would show up. No wastage of product is the best part.

The texture of the liners is much better than my expectation. The creamy formula makes the liner easy to glide on lips without much effort. Just take care not to get a longer liner out to avoid breakage.

I've used many lip liners from varied brands in past years, and Oriflame has actually won my heart. The pigmentation is super fine as compared to other brands. Only a single swipe is enough for great color payoff as shown in pic below. 

The versatility of the lip-liners makes these my beloved makeup product. I mainly use these to define my lip line effectively and add staying power to my lip color. But at times, I use these either as a stand-alone lipcolor or wear these under my lipstick to enhance it longevity. Those who prefer lipgloss can certainly increase the wearing time by filling the lips completely before applying their usual glosses.

Oriflame The ONE Colour Stylist Lip Liner lasts really long on my lips with light snacks and drinks. After 6+ hours, it gets faded from inner side of lips and require light touch ups. I'm seriously loving them and would recommend you all to get your fav shade to amp up your face makeup.
