Ethinext Epiclin Cleansing Lotion Review

Remember I had reviewed two awesome products from Ethicare Remedies. The LIPZ one that provides wholesome nourishment for lips and Hydrofil Lotion that leaves skin soft n moisturized. Both these products convinced me about the finest quality of the products and my heart felt really voracious to try some more.

Today's review is dedicated to Epiclin Cleansing Lotion from the Cleansing range of Ethinext Pharma.

About Epiclin Cleansing Lotion:
Epiclin lotion is a gentle cleansing formula specially designed for sensitive skin that can complete our daily skin care regimen.

The Epiclin comes bottled in very simple looking sturdy plastic packing and contains the liquified lotion of apprx. 125 ml being offered at a price of Rs 139. The shelf life is 3 years from the date of manufacture. The bottle is encased in cardboard packing which prints every possible details regarding ingredients, its proportions, usage instructions, storage instructions etc.

Ingredients:
The active ingredients in the lotion are Cetyl alchohol and Steryl alchohol. Two of these work as excellent emollient or emulsifier as well as performs like a thickening agent in the formulation. Other than these active ingredients, few more have been used as inactive ingredients including glycerine, olive oil, Deionized Water (Aqua) etc. that will maintain mildness of the lotion on the
skin.

Look & Feel of the Lotion:
The first thing as I opened the flip cap of the bottle with my thumbs was to sniff to check what kind of fragrance does it has... failing to smell anything, I got it cross-checked with my hubby if he could smell anything... But no, the lotion has been created not only for sensitive skin but also for sensitive noses ;) I mean the Epiclin is a fragrance-free lotion that is a boon for people who avoid having aromatic skin care products due to various reasons.

Next curiosity was to see the lotion color so I pressed the bottle and took out few drops on my palm. Oops, the runny lotion of thin consistency has no artificial colors, but just translucent white shade.

How I used the Epiclin Lotion?
Following the usage instructions on the pack, I made the body wet and started rubbing with soft hands by applying required quantity on the wet parts. Even after few seconds, I noticed no foaming at all. Oh Gosh!! I felt blessed.. I had been genuinely wishing a cleansing lotion that is foam-free and comes off easily. And I had got one suitable one for me. Infact, there is no need to rinse off the lotion by splashes of water, just wiping the body with soft damp cloth tissue can do the needful.

Those who feel that being soap-free formula won't be able to cleanse the impurities, I tell you this lotion has properties to remove all the dust n grime that weather, surroundings leave on your skin. The lotion can even double up as a great makeup remover if it is used to wipe of eye n lip makeup with a cotton swab. I can safely recommend to apply it before going to the bed as night cleanser.

My skin felt no tightening, stretching or inflammation. It didn't leave my skin as stripped as foam washes do, rather a smooth touch could be experienced after the usage. In short, this is a "kind-on-skin" product you can fault about.

Overall Opinion:
Epiclin Lotion will refresh, deep cleanse and disinfects skin’s surface to give you thoroughly clean skin and will prevent future skin problems too. People with overly dry skin type can  follow it with a layer of moisturizer or night cream for best result.

Ethicare Remedies Hydrofil Emollient Lotion Review

      
               Emollients are the companions I always rely on when I need to make the external layer of my skin softer and more pliable. My eyes usually set on emollients lotions or creams firstly, when I go to supermarket for purchasing. I love trying newly launched products to find a well balanced formulation.

              In the recent times, I have been using a non-cosmetic moisturising lotion that is actually the best one till date. I'm talking about Hydrofil Lotion from Ethicare Remedies .
Ethicare Remedies Hydrofil Emollient Lotion comes packed in a cardboard box in soothing pink n white colors. The cardboard box has a thick transparent sheet in the middle to display the lotion pack inside without even opening the sealed pack.

              The main packing that contains the lotion is a stocky white plastic bottle that can bear any shock or pressure but will stay intact. I liked the slightly curvy shape of the bottle that enhances its grip in hands.

The bottle has flip open cap with a hole piercing to ooze out the liquid from the small opening.

            The net content in this pack is 100 ml priced at Rs. 132. But you can save a lot if you go for a bigger pack of 400 ml that costs just Rs 399. The shelf life is 36 months from mfg date. 

          The list of  key ingredients in exact proportion is mentioned on the outer cardboard packing as well as on the bottle. To name them, here I jot them down for you :  Lecithin, Aloevera, Silicon oil, Light liquid paraffin, Propylene glycol, Bee Wax, Vitamin E Acetate. Take a careful look at the pic below where the brand has explained the benefits of most of the ingredients for clear understanding.

 How did I feel after using Ethicare Remedies Hydrofil Emollient Lotion?

            

                I apply emollients as often as I need, may be because of the requirement of my overly dry skin. Infact, you can find a small packing of a good moisturizing lotion in my handbag all the time.  As I rubbed Hydrofil Emollient Lotion for the first time on my hands, I felt tempted to try it over other body parts as well. My skin could soak up the thick white lotion very easily. There was absolutely no sign of applying a greasy fluid on my skin. 

            The uplifting fragrance didn't itch my sensitive nose, though few might find it li'l overpowering. But for me, the fragrance is as sweet as of a rose. So I loved myself smelling nice. 

         The lotion does its job in very minor quantity for single usage. Those with normal to oily skin type will be satisfied with its results even if they apply it once in the morning and will seal the moisture within skin for entire day. But frankly speaking, I need to reapply it atleast twice a day bcz its damn annoying to see dry, flaky skin.

           I would specially highlight here that Hydrofil Emollient is available in cream base also. So if you feel more comfortable using moisturizing creams, you can go for it with equally excellent spread ability.

Pros:

3. Travel friendly packing.
4. Smells awesome.
5. Penetrates skin almost instantly.
6. Doesn't leave shiny layer on skin.
7. Works well on all skin types.
8. Flexible pack sizes.

Cons:

Availability is the only issue that I could tick off about Hydrofil Emollient Lotion. Though in the era of online shopping, most of us can opt for ordering it from their official site.

Final Verdict:
            Ethicare Remedies Hydrofil Emollient Lotion is the luxurious product I can't do without. It has all the properties to keep skin (any skin type) hydrated and thus ensures clear and radiant complexion. This was the first time that I used this product, but I would certainly purchase it in future. I can safely recommend it to all who are looking for special formula to take gentle care of their skin.
