Luxuriate Your Body & Senses With PureSense

Winter season brings a beautiful climate that most people enjoy. While you love cladding yourselves in layers of cozy warm clothing and look stylish, your skin feels rough due to freezing temperatures and dry air. Though good skincare is recommended every single day for the whole year, it become more important amidst winters. For this reason, your skincare products should be adjusted according to the weather conditions.
This season I've been trying a curation of plants' extract enriched skincare formulations trusted for their high performance and quality from the house of PureSense.

About PureSense
The brand believes in the theory of - Beauty begins with wellness. Hence, they craft products that go deeper and help you savour every day. The intoxicating scents and indulgent textures used in their products are worth an experience for your body. Once you indulge into PureSense care, you'll feel the refreshing glow and charismatic aura that comes from the vibrancy of exotic, organic ingredients.

To make my selfcare journey delightful with their nourishing products, I've got this combo for effective skincare.
Exfoliation is an essential step in skincare that help banish dull skin through the cold months and year-round. When the dead skin cells build up on the skin's surface, it might result in a complexion that looks dry and dull. Pick a formula that contains plant or fruit extract so that it’s soothing and non-drying. I chose PureSense face Scrubs in two variants i.e. Papaya and Pink Guava that are designed to nourish sensitive skin without being harsh. I prefer to exfoliate my face twice a week to shoo away dullness and to reveal brighter and radiant skin. With a usage of few weeks, your skin tone and texture would become smoother.
In the journey of face care, I added PureSense Grapefruit Reviving Day Cream and Anti Ageing Sleeping Mask.

The Grapefruit Reviving Day Cream is quite lightweight, gets quickly absorbed and deeply nourishes your skin. It also serves as a shield from UV A and UV Bsunrays as it's enriched with SPF 20 PA +++. Your skin feels hydrated and supple with the goodness of Vitamin C and Niacinamide all the day long.

The Anti Ageing Sleeping Mask has been my favourite of all. Formulated with Retinol combined with Rosehip Oil offers miraculous effect for sensitive skin. Along with the anti-aging benefits like wrinkle & fine lines reduction, this night mask helps revitalize skin cells, hydrate & tone skin when you sleep in your cozy bed. This mask has gel-like texture that gets immersed in skin promptly. Its mild fragrance is very pleasing to senses.
Sheet Masks have been quite a rage in skincare regime these days. So I picked a Hydrating Sheet Mask with Hyaluronic Acid that's suitable for my maturing skin. I like it as it helps restore the radiance and glow of your skin, specially when you're pressed on time. The sheet masks are usually formulated with specialized serums that make your skin feel plump and glowy with a boost of moisture. One can use it twice a month or as demanded by your skin condition. Make sure to rub the serum left on the skin for few minutes after removing the mask for better effect.

One more of my favourite PureSense product is Relaxing Macadamia Deep Moisturising Body Oil. I own quite dry skin all over my body and an oil massage definitely is the best therapy to pamper my skin. This luxurious body oil is rich in minerals, intensely nourishes your skin and relaxes your senses. It is suitable for all skin types. Ideally it should be applied post shower on your damp skin to retain the hydration for longer.
All these PureSense best sellers come with a promise of No Parabens, No Preservatives, No Chemicals, No Animal Cruelty, No Sulphate and No False Claims. Such revitalizing range of beauty products are what you need to include in your self-care journey and pamper your skin with the best of care it deserves.

Puresense Reviews for Vanilla Bloom Body Mist & Lemongrass Shampoo

I have been trying some carefully crafted non-toxic products from the house of Puresense by Soap Opera for many days and have been posting how I feel about them. Here is one more post dedicated to two of the Soap Opera's products i.e. Vanilla Bloom Body Mist & Lemongrass Shampoo.

About Vanilla Bloom Body Mist:
If you are a fragrance lover and don't miss spraying yourself with a refreshing smell, you should try this body mist that I'm going to review today.

My take on Puresense Vanilla Bloom Body Mist:
I received a sample pack of Puresense Vanilla Bloom Body Mist that blends Vanilla, Chocolate and patchouli into a ultra feminine fragrance. Like all other products of Puresense, this body mist claims to me non-toxic and contains no alcohol.

The mist is just the rightly concentrated. The pump bottle gives good coverage in each spritz. The staying power of Vanilla Bloom is quite good. But there are lso some downsides to it. I found this body mist extremely heavy for my senses. On a tiny spritz on my neck line & pulse points, I could smell it very strongly. My preference of body mists over perfumes is most probably for the reason that mists possess lighter scents on mild notes that makes me feel sensuous.

Infact I don't mind if the scent is evaporated quick and I need to re-apply it after few hours. But somehow, Vanilla Bloom could not appeal me. Its just a matter of personal liking, otherwise I think Puresense masters in crafting awesome products. I may think of buying it for gifting purposes to my friends or relatives, who like to envelope themselves into use it off n on, but sadly I am not going to repurchase it for MYSELF. The full size bottle of Vanilla Bloom Body Mist can be bought at a price of Rs 300 for 150 ml.

About Lemongrass Shampoo:
The Lemongrass shampoo from Puresense is infused with the goodness of Lemongrass and Olive Extracts to treat hair fall.
My take on Lemongrass Shampoo:
The lemongrass shampoo from Puresense is pearl white color shampoo. Neither too runny, nor too thick; the consistency of shampoo is appropriate to be applied on damp hair. The shampoo smells somewhat tangy, most probably due to such ingredients.

When I used a generous quantity of shampoo on my oily hair, it easily cleansed the scalp with enough lather. It left my hair feeling fresh and softer. The shampoo is free of sulphate and other synthetic chemical, so there is no worry of any damage. My hair also got untangled without much effort after the usage of this shampoo.

But I am unable to comment on its claims to reduce hair fall, because the sample pack which I received was of 25 ml only and I could barely use it twice on my long hair for proper results. I wish I could use it for atleast 8-10 hair-washes to form an opinion.

The full sized pack of 270 ml is priced at Rs 249 which is not so heavy on pocket.

Overall, I am pleased with most products I used and reviewed from Puresense by Soap Opera :)

Soap Opera Frangipani and Cinnamon Soap Review

Hi

Soap Opera, under the brand name of Puresense, is crafting premium body care products like soaps, body washes, shampoos, body mists. I have been using some these products for last few days and also written reviews here and here.

Today I am writing for two of the soaps from the Soap Opera's product range...the Frangipani Soap and the Cinnamon Soap. Both the soaps come wrapped in a thin transparent sheet which is encased in a cardboard packaging similar to the full-sized soap bars. The sample soap bars received by me are of 30 gm each and can be really useful as testers to help you decide if you want to place an order for specific soap after the first time usage.

Frangipani Soap:

This one is a sweet smelling soap of Floral variants by Soap Opera.

The Soap bar is white in color that has deep crimson yellowish chunks embedded in it.  Like all other soap bars of Soap Opera, this one is also an Oilve Oil rich bathing bar with richness of moisturizing properties.
I smell very distinctive scent in this soap. The soap bar is very mild but originates decent creamy lather.  The li'l bar can last around 8-10 days easily. Its full sized packing of 100 gms is available at Rs 85/- only.

Cinnamon Soap

Cinnamon is one of the strongest aromatic spice which reserves its place in every kitchen. But have you tried this aroma in your bathing essentials ever?? Soap Opera offers fabulous bathing bars in its Spicy variants and Cinnamon bar is one of them.
The Cinnamon Soap is again blended with finest natural ingredients other than Olive Oil which provide the complete care to skin. Since cinnamon is known for its antiseptic and disinfectant properties, my hubby experimented to use it as shaving bar and liked it that way also. It may not be true for everyone.
I liked the shades of brown smudged on the soap very beautifully. The smell of the soap doesn't linger on too long. So I found the soap suitable for people who don't want to smell like a spice ;) The skin feels deeply cleansed and hydrated that enlivens my senses after shower using this soap. But as per the moisturization requirement of my skin in this winter season, I had to apply body lotion afterwards.

I am sure bathing with Cinnamon soap eradicates germs from top surface of our skin, so the children can also use this soap while bathing after play time to remove dirt n dust from their skin.

Overall Opinion on Soap Opera Soaps
All the exotic soap bars are free of sulphates, parabens, formaldehydes and are totally non-toxic. Every soap bar is enriched with one or the other beneficial characteristic due to all-natural essential oils suited for whole family.
So I will remain dedicated to these natural soap in future to make my skin feel pampered. Do try these chemical-free soaps and stay happy within the skin you are in :)

Puresense Sleep Inducer Review

My Facebook followers might have seen the lovely sample products sent to me by Puresense few weeks ago. I reviewed one of the products here earlier while sharing the hamper pic. I am reviewing an unusual yet wonderful product in today's post i.e. the Puresense Sleep Inducer.

Hey, don't presume this product being suitable for insomniacs ;) As claimed by the brand, the Sleep Inducer is a non-toxic & aromatic blend of Rosemary, Lavender and Bergamot that is formulated to improve the quality of your sleep with regular use. The magical mix of these ingredients calms your stressed mind and induces sleep.

The sample pack of Sleep Inducer that I received is a transparent spritz bottle of 10ml filled with the colorless liquid of watery consistency in it. The bottle's tip is covered with a tight transparent cap too, that doesn't let the liquid leak out.

The liquid comes out with 2-3 effortless pushes after removing the cap.
My experience:
I have a tendency to sleep quite late at night for last many years. And being employed on a full-time job doesn't allow me to get up late in the morning. So I usually get to sleep around 5-6 hrs max. Now the another worry-some fact is that the quality of my sleep is damn poor.  And it makes me feel drowsy the very next day.

To test the effect of this sleep inducer on me, I sprinkled its few drops on my pulse point & also gave few spritz to my pillowcover on both side of my head after I switched off the lights for night sleep. The moment I inhaled the mild fragrance of Puresense Sleep Inducer, I could deeply breath with relaxation.
During a regular usage of around a week or more, the sleep inducing scent had left amazing psychological effect on my sleep, because I knew that certain fragrances like Lavender, chamomile etc. correct the lack/disorder of sleep at the back of brain and invite tight sleep. I am willing to continue it for some more days, so that this sleeping aid can help me enjoy sound sleep with a peaceful balance of my mind for whatever time I get to sleep.

P.S. I am planning to test this spray as a daily wear therapeutic fragrance with a hope to keep my mind in a calm state throughout the day. Also feeling like putting its few drops to my diffuser and make the aromatic ambiance in my bedroom (though I don't know if it will work or not) ;)

Pros:
  • Pocket friendly price.
  • Non-toxic formulation.
  • Caused no skin irritation.  Soothing mild fragrance.
  • Fragrance lasts longer enough on me.
  • Leak-proof packaging.
  • Calms the stressed brain with regular usage.
  • Easy Availability at many web portals.

Cons:
  • Absolutely Nothing.

If you feel you need to avoid medication for sleep disorder, then u can buy the full sized bottle of 100 ml for Rs 375 only here.

Soap Opera Orange Soap Review

Hi Everyone,

Its been almost a week that I wrote any new post..nopes! it was not due to my pathetic broadband connection but the weather. The shivering cold at my place got my hands badly swollen and I'm uncomfortable typing due to itching on my fingers :'( Still I managed to start writing today because I am excited to review a brand that I'm loving these days.... I am talking about Puresense by Soap Opera.

About the Brand:
Puresense is a brand by Soap Opera that has been created on the philosophy of living a life free of toxins. To achieve this objective, Puresense created a wide range of premium quality personal care products which were essentially non-carcinogenic, free from Parabens, formaldehydes and sulphates.
Puresense currently offers a range of non toxic products including --
  • Fruit Soaps in Orange, Cucumber, Royal Apple, Strawberry variants.
  • Floral Soaps in Rose, lavender, Madhumati, Frangipani variants.
  • Spice Soaps in Green Tea, Cinnamon, Clove, Lemon Grass, Spearmint variants.
  • Bodywashes in Green Tea, Lemon Grass, Spearmint variants.
  • Shampoos in Green Tea, Lemon Grass, Spearmint variants.
  • Bodymists in Vanilla Bloom, Lemony Fresh variants.
  • A Sleep Inducer.

Out of the above non-toxic products, I received this lovely hamper of three soaps from different categories along with a bodymist, shampoo and sleep inducer as well.
And today's post concentrates on Puresense Orange Soap from Fruit Soap category :)

I received the cute n sleek sample pack of the soap which weighs 30g. But the usual soap bar is of 100 gms being sold at a price of Rs 99. I genuinely appreciate Puresense for giving complete detail of ingredients even on the SAMPLE soap packing unlike most brands which lack on this part.

The soap is crafted with high percentage of Olive Oil along with Sodium Palmate, Sodium palm kernalate, Aqua, Sodium cocoyl Isetionate, Fragrance, Ethylene Hydroxydiphosphonate, Sorbitol, Titanium dioxide, Glyceryl stearate, Disodium distyrylbiphenyl disulfonate. These scientific names of the ingredients might confuse you, but actually these are beneficial essential oils extracted from nature.

Talking about the impressive packaging, I loved the way how Puresense wraps the soap bar in thin transparent cling film which peeps out from an external cardboard pack :) An oval sticker bearing the brand name 'Soap Opera' keeps holding the soap bar without letting it slip out from pack.

My Experience: As soon as I unwrapped the packaging, I could not stop smiling at the decently simple square piece of soap bar that looked edible slice of dessert because of orangy chunks in it. The soap also is embossed with the brand name 'Soap Opera' on it. The soap smells somewhat sweet n tangy to me which doesn't causes irritation in my nose.
The soap lathers gently enough when rubbed between palms with water. My skin felt thoroughly cleansed as well as hydrated the dried skin post shower. The mild fragrance could be experienced for quite some time, but doesn't last very long. People who like short-termed perfumes on their body would love this specially.

The richness of Olive Oil provides softness n moisture as it is kind to the skin. The powdered orange peel used to be my favourite home remedy to gain fresh n supple skin years back. I can substitute that with Puresense orange soap now and can enjoy healthy skin.

This soap bar lasted around one week and didn't melt unexpectedly quick. So I can make out that the full-size soap bar won't finish as early as one month or so.

Pros:

1. Gentle on skin.
2. Lathers Well.
3. Doesn't melt easily.
4. Smells Nice.
5. Causes no itching.
6. Suitable for all skin types.
7. Moisturizes sufficiently.

8. Non-Toxic.
9. No Animal derived ingredients.
10. Goodness of Olive oil.

Cons:
Actually Nothing. But may need to apply body lotion during extreme weather conditions.

You may place your order directly from Pusesense's official website or can choose to buy it from other online shopping portal like Nykaa..
