Polishes To Pine For - The One Long Wear Spring 18 Nail Polishes

Satisfy your fashion cravings by matching this season’s trendiest look with a palette of pastels for your nails. From Macha Green to Electric Lilac, THE ONE Long Wear Nail Polish’s new shades will give a soft electric touch to a sophisticated manicure or an elegant ombre. With these vibrant pastels, your nails will add soft radiance to your appeal.
Whether you get your nails done at home or at a beauty salon, nicely painted nails play their role to beautify your hands (and feet too). I usually paint my nails at home and so look for different nailpolish shades.

For the last one month and so, I've been applying very pretty shades of The One Long Wear Spring 18 NailPolishes from Oriflame. I was delighted to receive a total of 16 gorgeous shades that included some gorgeous pastel shades too. I remember myself mentioning in every nailpaint review that I am missing some 'unique' mix of shades in a collection and my wish has been fulfilled with The One Long Wear collection.

These nailpolish bottles are taller than usual. The applicator brush is wide enough to cover your nails in two strokes perfectly. It's comfortable to hold and grip. The cap shuts with a click sound when you twist it.

The shades in the collection are-

As you can see, the pastel palette added to this collection is so cool and different that I want to wear those forever. The colour payoff of most polishes is amazing. A few shades give complete opaque manicure in one coat and other require atleast two, but applying double coats makes it long stay and shinier. The shades are true to what you see in the bottle and dries up quick.
Other than the pastel hues, we've got access to some all-time favourite shades of Reds, Pinks also that complete the palette. So there are shades for every woman to fall in love with.
The price of these nailpolishes (Rs. 309) might be steep for many, but I bet you're great quality product. The result of the product truly outlasts product price. Even without a top coat, the nailpaint stays same for more than a week with minimal chipping.

To sum, the Spring 18 collection is a pefect mix of classic staples and must-haves-for-the-moment. I recommend all pretty ladies out there to grab their fav shades for this festive season and complete their festive makeup look.

Fashion Up Your Manicure with NELF USA Nail Enamels

Hello Girlies

Recently, I got some great stuff from an exciting cosmetic brand NELFusa. The brand creates wide range of quality makeup products at approachable prices. Today I am reviewing the nail enamels from the brand in two pretty shades.

Brand Info:
NELF Cosmetics, named after the aspiration of women to look great in four leagues i.e. NAIL, EYE, LIPS & FACE, uniquely offers a permanent collection of every day basics and on-trend shades. Known for rich pigments and high payoff in products is what places NELF in its own panache and distinguishes the line as a leader in the colossal color cosmetics industry. NELFusa™ has become the fastest growing cosmetic company in INDIA. The ultramodern and stylish packaging fused with the huge selection of highly pigmented colors continues to catch the eyes of every striving beauty.

Product Info:
NELF Cosmetics offers luxurious nail enamels in beautiful shades that will resist any daytime or night time drama. You can fashion up your nails and treat yourself to instant glamour with Nelf’s Nail Enamels. Be glamorous and beautiful with these glossy, high-shine lasting finish.

Packaging & Pricing:
Both the nail enamels come in similar square glass bottle with black cap. The shade number is precisely labeled on the top of the cap with shade name. At the bottom of the bottle, you may find product's shelf life which is 3 yrs.

The entire range of nail enamels is priced at just Rs. 99 each for 9.5 ml with more than 30 gorgeous shades available at present.

My Take on the product:
I received two of the shades on NELF's nail enamels in shade NSE02 Pink Pop and NSE12 Sparkling Rose. So talking about both in this post today..

NSE02 Pink Pop is a soft pink shade with a coral tinge into it.
In a single coat with its decent sized brush, I get pretty good coverage. The texture of the nail enamel is easy to spread smoothly as I glide the brush on nails, though takes little time to dry up.
Just like most of my nail enamels, I swatched it two coats to get the premium finish in its real color and whoa I loved my nails ;) Remember to let the first coat dry properly before you apply the second coat for a rich finish.
Pink Pop is an appropriate shade for regular day-to-day application if you are not in a habit of changing your nail paint every now and then.
                                                                        ******
NSE12 Sparkling Rose is a shade that can perk up your party look instantly. Its a brilliant scarlet shade somewhere between red and orange. And the glittery bronze particles in the nail paint makes it a passionate party color.
I found it quicker to dry up than the Pink Pop shade (though not measured exact time) ;) The rich payoff made me fall in love with the shade truly. The super smooth and glossy finish without any bumps while application is pretty admirable.
Sparkling Rose is a glam alternate to regular red/maroon nail colors and can be worn without worrying of getting it in sync with your outfit color unlike yellows, greens.

I would also give the nail enamels a plus for non-chipping formula that lasted as good as new for 4-5 days, after which minor chip off on the edges needs to be given retouching. The brand recommends starting with the base coat and end with top coat over the nail enamels to make it last longer, but I haven't used any of those to find the actual durability being my first experience with the products. The staying power of 4-5 days is pretty ok for me while I do all my household chores myself.

What I loved about the NELF nail enamels:
  • Wide range of trendy colors.
  • Smooth texture.
  • Chip resistant upto 5 days.
  • Apt brush size.
  • Dries up pretty soon.
  • Great bargain.

Cuccio Nail Polish Mini Review - Shade 6011 (Totally Tokyo)

Hey Eveyone

Here is a quick review on Cuccio Nail Polish that I received in Fab Bag won in a blog giveaway few months ago ...

Cuccio Nail Polish is formulated with Triple Pigmentation Technology for rich coverage in one coat and true coverage in two coats. A superior long lasting nail polish for natural nails.

In my Fab Bag, I received the Cuccio Nail Polish Shade 6011 called as Totally Tokyo. It comes is a robust glass bottle. The label on the bottle reads the details of price (Rs. 675), shelf life (3 yrs) and qty (13ml) etc. The label on the bottom of the bottle mentions its shade number as well as specific shade name.

It is in fuschia color with slight gold shimmer. The color is very vibrant n catchy girly shade that would be quite adored by women of all ages. The nail paint is claimed to be Professional Nail Lacquer that gives rich coverage in single coat. As I applied the nail paint using the decently broad applicator brush on my nails, it gave nice finish.
It require a wait of few minutes to get it dry being slightly thicker in consistency. I usually prefer true coverage on my nails, so decided to go for dual coat. This is how it turned out after double coat.
The nail paint has very good staying power. It gives only minor fading after 4-5 days of application. I am happy with the performance. But looking at the high price, I would not buy it again unless and until there is huge discount on it.

Blue Heaven Xpression Nail Lustre (903 & 913) - Review & NOTD

Hello

I love to keep my nails long and filed in oval mostly. There are rarely any reasons to convince me cut my nail short. There are days when I forget to color them for long and still like my hands, but then comes a moment when I want to give a final touch to my freshly manicured hands by applying some catchy or cool nail paints. I have been deeply longing for some untried shades of nail paints, when I got two gorgeous shades in my mail few days ago.. Excited who sent me those?? Read on...

Blue Heaven Cosmetics sent me two exciting nail paints from their Xpression range. These nail paints provide intense color to nails. The special features are non bleeding & non feathering formula that stays for days and no chip off.

Ingredients: (not mentioned on the packaging)
Butyl Acetate + Ethyl Acetate + Isopropyl Alcohol + Tolune + Nitrocellulose + Resin + Steralkonium Hectorite + Dibutyl Pthalate + Camphor + Pigments And Pearls.

My take on the product:
The Xpression range of nail paint, which are referred as Nail Lustre by the brand, comes in a squared edged glass bottle. The transparent bottle lets you see the color and remaining quantity in a glance. The price, usage instructions and Expiry date is printed on either side of the bottle. The golden cap shines in the bottle neck that grips tightly and you would find the Shade no. on the top of the cap.
The applicator brush is made up of properly shaped bristles which gives full coverage in just one swipe except corners of nails. I found it comfortable to hold and use.
As mentioned above, I got 2 lovely nail paint shades in 903 and 913.

Blue Heaven Xpression Nail Lustre - 903 is a bright orange color with mild cream finish as seen from the bottle which I found 'shockingly bright' in the first glimpse. But the temptation to experiment with new shade insisted me to apply it without any waiting.

The nail paint is bit runny in consistency and brings out the actual opaque finish after 2-3 coats only. It dries up quickly and gives glossy finish without a top coat. The staying power is also decent as I can see my nail with no chip-off after 3-4 days of application despite all household work and washing my hands uncounted number of times.
I am feeling more confident to try such vibrant neon shades on my dusky complexion now that have brightened my summer look and gave a boost to my mood and spirits :) Now I know why is it a hit among youngsters these days ..

Blue Heaven Xpression Nail Lustre - 913 is one of the evergreen shade of fuschia pink that can be a favourite of most women and collegiate gals. The consistency of this shade is similar to other shade I have used.
It seems squeaky in initial coat but smoothen as you swipe one or two extra coats. The color looks something on red tone in the bottle, but gives a different summery fresh appeal on application. It will suit all skin tones making your hands look fairer.
This is the kind of shade that need not match with your outfit exactly, but will add up its glow in contrasting colors with broad variations.
I am loving both the shades of Blue Heaven Xpression Nail Lustre equally for different reasons and for different seasons ;) At a pocket friendly price of Rs 70 each for net content 9 ml, its worth grabbing a deal. It actually stands its claims and now I am greedy for adding more shades to my collection :)
Where to buy:
All the shades of Blue Heaven Xpression Nail Lustre can be bought from Flipkart, Jabong, Shopclues etc.

Tell me which one did you like more? Do recommend me if you have tried any other gorgeous shade of Blue Heaven Xpression Nail Lustre..

Maybelline ColorShow Devil Wears Purple Nailpaint Review

Hey Beauties !

The one thing that I had been dying to own since soooo long was Maybelline Color Show Nail Paint. I had been hearing so good about them from my friends and had seen such fab pics that I always wanted to add those in my vanity kit.

Finally I got lucky to get the Devil Wears Purple shade from Color Show range of Maybelline nailpaints, which I'm reviewing today...

Packaging: The Devil Wears Purple is packaged in a transparent glass bottle capable to show the nail color properly with a black cap of the same diameter of the bottle, that makes it very comfortable to hold. The easy-flow applicator brush ensures flawless n fuss-free application of nail lacquer.
The shade number is mentioned on the top of the cap that can be seen in the very first glance, unlike most brands writing it either at the bottom of the bottle or somewhere in product description. :)
Its priced at very decent Rs. 75 for Net Qty of 6 ml that can last for a Shelf Life of 36 months :)
My Experience : Devil Wears Purple 012 as the name suggests is a Purple Colour nailpaint with a hint of light silver shimmer. My initial thought was like its not my kind of color, but since it belonged to my fav ColorShow range which I was curious to try, I dared to apply it atleast once. ;)

In the first fine coat only, the shade looked suitable to my skin tone and I was more n more  captivated by its  allure the very moment. :)

Single Coat
The nail paint actually 'showed its real color' after applying double coats as the glossy effect is sooo babelicious.
double coats

a close comparison b/w single n double coats

Adoring n admiring this pretty purple polish on my nails, I was thinking about for how long would it stay intact, coz I wash my hands uncountable number of times a day during all household chores. And I'm pleased to share with you that even after three ccomplete days, the nail paint is still in its impressive sheen on my nails, only minor chipping off is noticed on the edges of nails.
Pros:
1. A color to suit almost all skin tones.
2. Quick Dry Formula
3. Good Staying Power (3+ days)
4. Formaldehyde, DBP and Toluene free.
5.  Available in 48 trendy shades
6. Pocket Friendly Price
7. Easy Availability

Cons:
Could Not think of any, before and after its application (yooohooo) ;)

Overall Thoughts: Devil Wears Purple lets you make a statement by keeping aside the myth of applying usual Indianized shades on your nails and brings in the supressed confidence in you to 'explore the unexplored' in the world of Fashion :)
