How 'Feet Up' Gives You Healthy & Happy Feet

Spring is already here and we're ready to wear open shoes, cute sandals and stylish thongs :) But are our feet ready for this show off? Not many people (men and women both) are successful to stick to their usual foot care regimen during cold winters. The reason may be just chilly weather or other issues like skin allergies arising due to low temperature. As a result, the feet tend to become dry-skinned, itchy bearing cracked heels. The most common foot care product in anybody's list would be a foot care cream, but make sure you start by exfoliating your feet.

I'm currently using Feet Up Deep Exfoliating Cream and Feet Up Overnight Moisturizing Cream from Oriflame that help me keep an eye on my feet's health.
Exfoliating your body skin is a good skin care practice and your feet are no exception.
Scrub away rough, dry skin with Feet Up Deep Exfoliating Foot Cream. This high performance, rich, creamy rinse-off foot scrub with natural origin Pumice beads, Mineral 4E Blend and nourishing Shea Butter effectively exfoliates, purifies and conditions hard, rough skin to leave your feet soft and buffed to perfection.
Feet Up Exfoliating cream is a soft-smelling, white-colored cream that has micro Pumice beads in it. I start by soaking my feet in plain lukewarm water and smoothen the sole of my feet using pumice stone. Once the skin feels little softer, I massage the exfoliating cream focussing on the drier areas like heels, toes and balls of my feet. Wash the cream off after the product does its job through a light massage.
The exfoliator cream is a blend of four minerals Copper, Zinc, Iron and Magnesium that have ultimate benefits for skin repair, softening and smoothening. This cream not just takes dead skin off instantly but helps avoid building tough calluses and clogging of pores. I could see my feet untanned and healthier-looking right after the first use which is worth all the applauds.
A nourishing massage after the exfoliation is always a must, be it your face, body or feet.
Wrap your feet up in the creamy richness of this intensely moisturising overnight cream. Infused with natural extracts of Avocado & Aloe Vera, Feet Up Overnight Moisturizing Foot Cream will soften even the toughest skin and help to soothe tired feet while you sleep. Massage into feet at night and wake up the next morning to find them improved.
Feet Up Overnight Moisturizing Cream is advised to be applied before bedtime and to be left overnight on your feet. But I don't mind availing its benefits after a scrbbing on my feet. It's a mildly fragranced, white-coloured cream that is ultra-hydrating on my dry skin. Though I apply only little amount of the cream, it makes my feet super soft to touch and I'm totally loving that feeling.
The power-packed protective antioxidants and fatty acids, Avocado oil has outstanding regenerative properties that helps to heal cracked heels when used on everyday basis. Due to it's deep penetrating capability, it carries the hydration into deeper layer of rougher foot skin and gives result as we want without feeling greasy.
This combo of Feet Up products is an ideal pick for those who care for their feet equally as they do for their body. When used on a weekend, it's a perfect pampering for my tired feet after a long hard week at work. It also helps me relieve the pain and inflammation I usually have on my feet. And the bonus points for making my feet smell nice.
Both the Exfoliation and Moisturizing Foot Creams are priced at Rs. 375 each for 75ml.
I recommend the result-oriented Oriflame Feet Up product range to ease your aching feet coz healthy feet are happy feet!

IHA Boro Heal Foot Care Scrub Bar Review

Hello Friends

Hope you read my recent post where I shared some of my fav foot care products. On receiving good response for the same, I just thought of continuing with the same theme i.e. foot care and decided to share my experience about one of the product that I bet, will steal your heart. The product is Boro Heal Foor Care Scrub Bar from IHA Vedic Beauty. Read on to know why is it so dear to me ;)
Product Info:
IHA Boro Heal Foot Care Scrub Bar is specially formulated to provide tender care to your feet. It gently exfoliates the dead hard skin, dirt, grime, toxins & infections from your feet & heels, making them soft, supple & smooth. It's natural antiseptics & healing agents help removing infections & healing cracks, resulting in softer, smooth heels & heals the feet in a short time.

Packaging:
The foot scrub bar comes in cardboard box with all details mentioned on it like how to use it, what has gone into its formulation, price n quantity etc. A big hole cutout on the cardboard box shows the soap without opening the packaging. The soap bar itself is neatly sealed in clear sheet.

Ingredients:
Natural extract of Turmeric Root oil, Sandalwood oil, Aloe Leaf oil, Karanj oil, Borax, Luffa Fruit Fiber.
Price: Rs. 120
Weight:100 gms
Shelf Life: 3 Years
My Experience:
This foot scrub bar had been the reason I got attracted towards IHA products. I had fallen for it in the first sight honestly. May be because I wanted n needed it so desperately. This foot scrub bar looks so irresistible in its gorgeous green color. And I also liked its round shape for a change unlike other usual ones.

The uniqueness of this soap bar is that it has luffa fruit fiber embedded in it that is purely obtained from specific fruits. You may relate it to the loofahs we used to get from mature, dried gourd in olden days. The same had been replaced by the commercially available loofahs since many years now. But finding this scrub bar with natural luufa into it, I am really delighted.
As you scrub it on your wet feet and heels, it tickles your feet ;) The scrubbing effect can be experienced right from the very first use of the bar, which keeps on getting more prominent after every use. The benefit of having a natural luffa in the soap is that they are softer and enriched with nature's healing properties since they are grown on earth. These luffas are firm, but are not likely to scratch the skin like abrasive scrubbers.

The soap bar produces creamy lather that doesn't cause dryness since it is infused with some nourishing oils. The soap has lovely fragrance that lasts for really long. I take it as a plus point because it would also be helping fight odor. I can feel the smell in my hands after scrubbing the soap on my feet.
The infusion of Karanj Oil makes the soap effective to tackle skin diseased or infections because Karanj is said to be one of the most advantageous ayurvedic medicine to treat skin problems. The minor cracks in the heels get healed after prolonged usage. So using this scrub bar on your feet and heels not only ensures smooth exfoliated skin, but also guarantees the skin to be bacteria free.

For utmost benefit, I would suggest to apply a rich foot cream to soften tough skin on your heels.

Pros:
Removes dead skin from feet n heels.
Heals & repairs cracked heels.
Fights Infections.
Smells Lovely.
Creamy feel on scrubbing.
Has antiseptic properties.
Causes no scratches on skin.
Doesn't melt excessively.
Good Price.

Cons:
Can't think of any.

I would conclude by strongly recommending IHA Boro Heal Foor Care Scrub Bar to everyone who want soft pampered feet ;)

Look After Your Feet with Aroma Essentials

Hi Friends

How frequently do you visit a beauty parlour to maintain the good health of your feet? Once a month or more than that? I am really feeling awkward admitting that I rarely go for a professional foot care session, but love taking care of my feet at home. Cleaning and massaging my feet every single day is a part of my everyday bathing rituals that I follow more than religiously even when I am short of sufficient time.

Before I write about how these products worked, I wanna tell you my prime concern about my feet. My heels have no visible cracks and are not odor-causing culprits. But I feel extreme level of certain dryness that leads to an itchy feel which causes me discomfort n doesn't let me sleep in the night. Many a times, I need to get up and moisturize them generously with a foot cream or rich massage oil to comfort them.

Currently I am using some great products for my usual foot care from one of my favourite natural skin care range i.e. Aroma Essentials and since I am loving the result, I would like you to know about those products as well.

1. Foot Soak made up of Sea Salts, Herbs and Rose Oil.
Its a beautifully composed mint green colored foot soak having dried rose petals in it. It smells irresistibly heavenly. I sprinkle sufficient salt crystals in a flat tub filled with lukewarm water (or fresh water depending on weather), swish the mixture around and soak my tired feet for as long as I want. The Rose Oil really adds a zing to the foot bath because this aroma is directly associated with feelings of deep relaxation and mental peace.. Just a 10 mins soak ensures relief from aches, neutralizes odor (if any) and ease burning feet effectively. Not to forget, it works as an anti-bacterial step also.

Using pumice stone to scrub down the rough calluses on the heel is a must-do post soaking.

2. Foot Scrub made up of Wheat Grass, Spearmint and Mint Leaves.
Its a coarsely milled powdered that has to be mixed with water to make a thick paste out of it and then rubbing gently on the feet. It has lovely smell and doesn't feel harsh on skin. Scrubbing my feet with this foot scrub helps to get rid off that hard-to-remove dirt and rough skin with minimal effort and prevents all kind of patchy skin accumulated around. On scrubbing, it gives a nice hydrated feel unlike all scrub I used earlier.

3. Heel Cream made up of Cocoa Butter n Natural Salicylic Acid
For deeper moisturization, I massage my feet with this thick cream concentrating mainly on drier areas bcz it is loaded with goodness of cocoa butter. Those who have cracked heels will surely be recovering from all deficiencies after few applications of this cream as it is a complete diet for your feet. I won't mind calling it He(a)l Cream ;)

This very basic, but regular routine is my way to nurture the beauty and suppleness of my feet. Come winters, and I would be enjoying sound sleep covering my pampered and well-attended feet in cotton socks after this whole procedure.
What does your foot care routine involve? Do share with us :)
