Aroma Essentials Detox Scrub Review

Exfoliants are the most liked skin care essentials in my list. I like the way they remove deep pore impurities and show up almost instant result on my skin. But again, the only concern while selecting a suitable product for me is to look for non-drying ingredients in it that may mess with my skin type.

Talking about my latest obsession in this category, its the Detox Scrub from Aroma Essentials made out of a blend of many choicest constituents :)

This Detox Scrub has dense grey-black in color with cute yellow vitamin infused beads in it. I believe the main ingredient Charcoal lends it this color. Charcoal is meant for effectively combating pollutants that our skin comes into contact with on daily basis. It draws out skin impurities that could eventually lead our skin to premature aging.
Mixed in the formulation are finely milled Walnut Powder and Sea Salts. This refreshing combo sloughs away the dead skin cells very gently and brings the radiant skin out.
Then the Pine Oil has been added in the scrub to make the composition an adorable product. Pine oil is said to treat itching, pimples, eczema and other skin issues. It battles against free radicals to prevent wrinkle and skin sagging too. A product with so many excellent ingredients wins every heart for sure. :)

I massage this scrub on dampened skin after a splash of lukewarm water on my face. The walnut content used in the scrub is finely powdered, but avoid brisk rubbing otherwise it may cause rashes. The yellow beads gives a light polishing feel while massaging the scrub, but I wish their number to be increased for much better feel. Rinsing this scrub off is slight time consuming. It doesn't come off easily with splashes of water, but needs rubbing it off the skin with water. To simplify the job, I use a wet cotton ball and wipe it off.

I would specially mention about the texture of the scrub here that unlike most exfoliants that I have used, I need to layer my skin with a hydrating moisturizer after washing off. But Aroma Essentials' Detox Scrub is the most luxurious product using which my skin doesn't demand for moisturizing at all. Dry skinned people should take a hint. :)

The scrub has mesmerizing, invigorating aroma that I enjoy when its on skin. The scrub helps improving overall skin texture leaving my skin look glowing n healthy immediately. The product is a mild one, but I don't use any scrub on daily basis believing it may cause loss of elasticity due to excessive use. So I would suggest using it 2-3 times a week at the most.

Another plus about the product is that it is suitable for use on any part of body that needs special attention. Last but not the least, all the products made by Aroma Essentials are cruelty free and chemical free.

To conclude, I would say Aroma Essentials' Detox Scrub not only exfoliates the skin, but delivers required nutrients n vitamins to the skin. It relieves congested skin and let it breath to good health. A thumbs up from me for this excellent product !!

Aster Luxury Charcoal Bathing Bar Review

Aster Luxury Soaps have been my recent favourites. I used two of their variants in Strawberry and Jasmine earlier & loved them both. Today I am talking about one of their newly launched bathing bar in Charcoal variant.

My take on the product:

I have read a lot about charcoal as an active ingredients in beauty or skin care products. The reason why charcoal is considered a winner to obtain perfect clear skin is its ability to absorb toxins, impurities and many other harmful substances from skin and its a natural exfoliant too. 

The Aster Luxury Charcoal Soap came double- sealed in transparent cling film like all the other soaps with labels on either sides of the packaging. The label have complete detail about the product. is a deep hued soap in black. 

The natural activated charcoal content in this Charcoal soap makes it look like a beautiful black diamond :) I mean, we all love soaps that are in lovely pink, green, white, yellow colors..but did you ever expect a soap in black color can look so gorgeous. Truly I loved its color that makes it stand out among all products in its line. The soap bar is very soft in texture and has the brand logo imprinted on it. 

Though I already had high expectations from its performance; but honestly, I hardly expected of any pleasant fragrance in the soap. But to my sheer surprise, this Charcoal soap is loaded with such stimulating fragrance that I could not help myself smelling it again n again. 

The soap, despite its not-so-rich lather, draws out the dirt n oils that are blocking the pores and cleanses the skin thoroughly. Prolonged use of charcoal soap is claimed to reduce acne, though I am unable to judge it as I have no acne problem. Unlike normal chemical based soaps that leave a residue on the skin which stops the pores to breathe properly, the charcoal soap promises not to leave any residue behind. So that the pores may breathe and stay naturally moisturized all the day long. 

The people battling with bacteria related skin issues can use this soap for great relief because of its anti-fungal, anti bacterial properties.
