Looking to Chill With Friends? These Fun Films Sound Like A Plan!

When you're buried under the pressure of all sorts of different stressors, the only thought that's racing through your mind is probably to distract your mind from the problems of daily life. For me, the mere presence of my friends around instantly lifts my spirits. Sometimes I wonder how smartly they induce positive emotions in me and bring out a 'happy' person out of me. Lately, our gang of goofy friends has evolved into a film-freak flock, and we look forward to watching light-hearted rom-coms on ZEE5 while chilling out at someone's place. Recently when Mitron got premiered on ZEE5, I knew there's nothing better to lighten our mood than to watch Mitron movie online with a bunch of my real-life Mitrons. Needless to say, there are some movies that seem more meaningful when you watch it with your friends.

So let me list down some of my fav feel-good films guaranteed to make you happy every time-

If you're looking for a really big laugh, a sweet romantic comedy Bareilly Ki Barfi starring new-age talented actors Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana‏ and Rajkummar Rao‏ will leave you with a spine-tingling aftertaste with its on-point comedy. The hilarious one-liners, body language and liveliness of characters is so impressive that you'd like to watch and re-watch this movie an ample number of times. Watching it with your friends will just amp up the fun factor, especially when you exchange glances in-between scenes because it's so relatable. ;)
Tanu Weds Manu Returns has all the best elements of a feel-good movie. It’s equal parts hilarious, goofy, and whimsy with a happy ending. Tanu Weds Manu Returns never ceases to bring a smile on my face, no matter how many times I've seen it before. The cast, acting and soundtrack are downright amazing. Kangana Ranaut's character is bubbling with situational humour and terrific accent clearly grab everyone's attention. I can’t stress enough on how much fun it is to watch this movie with a bunch of your friends at a sleepover!
We all have an irresponsible brat in our gang who is immature and childish. And you’ll definitely have teased him a number of times. Mitron is an entertaining watch because it was inspired by today's carefree youths who want to live their life the way they want without putting in any efforts what so ever. Love changes the lead character in this movie into someone no one expected him to become. The movie Mitron is about a handful of people who are just trying to figure out life and will evoke your emotions about how life takes turns.
If you're prepared for a laugh-riot, Behan Hogi Teri will unfurl enough situational comedy on screen. I think everyone can relate to the feeling of falling into neighbourhood love caught up in the whirl of emotions at some point in their lives. It always gives me genuine nostalgia. And the feeling obviously intensifies when you put friends together in one room.
When you have an incredibly busy schedule, and you don't find time for some outdoor escapade, enjoying such fun movies literally make you feel re-energised with an exhilarating experience. Just call your friends, grab your seat on the couch and share a freakin' laughter.
Do you share any of the your favourite movies with me? Is there a movie that I should be checking out? Let me know in the comments.

Step Aside Hollywood, These Bollywood Action Movies Are Just As Good

In a big family where every member has a distinct choice for the kind of entertainment he/she prefers, it's almost impossible to avoid a debate on what should be the best way to delight everyone. Thankfully, there is something where everyone finds solace - Bollywood flicks.

Probably we all would agree that there is no explanation for a movie buff as to why he/she likes or dislikes a certain genre of movies from the West or our very own Bollywood. But unlike most female audience in the country who love masala movies full of romance and heavy emotions, I'm more inclined towards high-octane action-packed movies even if the sequences are far from reality. Recently while watching one of my favourite action thriller Commando 2 on ZEE5, it clicked my mind to list some of the action flicks produced by Bollywood which were on par with those from Hollywood. So here are my picks -

Paltan:
This is one Bollywood movie that recreates realistic on-field action of the Indian Armed Forces! The reel life characters of the movie Paltan perform rigorous action sequences depicting absolute strength and endurance. As a result, these sequences not only keep you hooked till the end but also evoke the feeling of high regard for our army personnel.
Naam Shabana
One of the excellent female-centric projects wherein the lead actress Taapsee Pannu showcase some gritty martial art moves with incredible skill. This movie successfully brings in a welcome transition of female characters from being meek to powerful. The swift moves of the Krav Maga portrayed by the determined undercover agent Shabana (Taapsee), choreographed by French Cyril Raffaelli of District 13 fame, leaves the audience with the feeling of a Hollywood spy thriller.
Commando 2:
In the recent past, Bollywood action movies are coming of age with well-choreographed fight sequences. One such movie is Commando 2 which Vidyut Jammwal in the lead. In the movie, Vidyut reprises his role of Commando Karanveer Singh Dogra and totally nails his stunts in the movie. Whether it is sliding to narrow windows or throwing lightning fast punches, he has done it all in this action extravaganza. If there was someone who can give Hollywood action stars a run for their money, it is Vidyut Jammwal and Tiger Shroff, who is next on this list.
Bagghi- Rebels in Love:
I'm honestly flattered by the awe-inspiring action scenes enacted by this muscled yet agile hunk of Bollywood films. Well! you guessed it right. He's none other than the daredevil Tiger Shroff. Just like Vidyut Jammwal, he is an actor who is known for pulling off the toughest stunt scenes without any body-doubles or harness, like those from this movie. No wonders, the breathtaking flying kicks and death-defying stunts performed by 'Karate Kid' of B-Town have made the audience forget Hollywood. The final showdown from this movie will particularly be remembered as one of the better-choreographed fight sequences that Bollywood has ever seen.

While there is no denying the fact that rousing popularity of Hollywood action movies is showing no signs of slowing down, Bollywood is not much behind in terms of entertainment value.

So, what do you think about this list? Are there any other Bollywood movies that should have been on this list? Let us know what you feel in the comments.
