I'm much of a lipstick devotee, if one has to pick the most adorable cosmetic item. That's one reason I keep on hunting newer shades and better formula every now and then. Today I have to show you my newest lipsticks from Oriflame.

Ingredients:

Octyldodecanol, Ricinus Communis Seed Oil, Triisodecyl Trimellitate, Diisostearyl Dimer Dilinoleate, Polyethylene, Silica, Mica, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Copernicia Cerifera Cera, Cera Microcristallina, Isopropyl Lanolate, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Helianthus Annuus Seed Cera, Paraffin, Pentaerythrityl Tetracaprylate/Tetracaprate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil, Persea Gratissima Oil, Parfum, Shorea Robusta Resin, and Rhus Verniciflua Peel.

The lipsticks have traditional bullet styled packaging that comes in a cardboard box. The outer box will quickly sum up all the info regarding shade number, shade name, mfg/expiry date, ingredient list etc.
 The lipstick bullet itself prints shade no. and shade name at its bottom. The bullet cap shuts with a click and doesn't open loose as you turn it upside down.

Shades Available: 

The ONE 5-in-1 Colour Stylist Lipstick Intense currently offers 6 shades, all bright and vibrant. I so love the catchy shade names (mentioned in the individual images).

Rose Ray is a shade that looks rich to create a polished look. 

Orange Pop is a gorgeously beautiful shade to brighten your face. There was a time I used to shy away from such shades and thought it would make me look darker, but I swear I love it so so much now. I somehow feel happier that just a swipe or two of this lipstick adds life to my overall look on any day

Flamingo Fuschia is a dazzling shade of pink that goes with outfit of any colour easily when its hard to decide what shade to apply. I actually get compliments everytime when it gives a intense glow to my face.

Vivid Violet is a shade of violet with a prominent hint of pink to it when applied to lips. I probably tried this shade for the first time and I'm yet to convince myselfwhether it actually suits my complexion. I would have loved it if it showed up with more darker tone of purple.

Sunset Red is my absolute favourite as an everyday wearable shade. I have a deep inclination towards such warm shades. This one is perfect for women of any age group and beautifully enhances charm of darker skin tones too. My mom liked it the best ;)

Coral Burst has to be a must-have for those who neither wear deep shades like maroons and browns nor flaunt blazing shades like fuschia. It looks striking on most Indian skin tones including fair, medium to dark.  

The ONE 5-in-1 Colour Stylist Lipstick Intense Collection has all rich shades which look cheerful and seductive ;) What I miss in the range is the shades like brown/copper/chocolate/berry. The lipsticks offer nice coverage in two swipes. It's a creamy and smooth formula that goes on lips absolutely easily and is comfortable to wear. My lips feel hydrated all the time it stays on lips and there is no need of moisturizing your lips before application of these lipsticks. But the downside is that it transfers easily, becuase it doesn't settle to matte finish. This also limits the staying time to around 4 hrs max. The lipsticks have mild scent that can be smelt from the product directly, but is not felt when worn on lips (which is a plus for me).  Each of the lipstick is 4g in qty and the shelf life is 3 yrs. For me, this collection of lipsticks fares good enough in most criteria including shades, shine, price etc; I wish it could have stayed bit longer (but would find those two minutes to touch up to look stunning).

When I read above lines about in the Oriflame catalogue, I ordered the entire range in the Pure Colour Nail Polish Mini. Since the shades genuinely tempted me a lot and priced reasonable i.e. just Rs 189 for 6 ml. (buy here)

And then arrived my boxful of nail paints... you ask "how many??" 15 shades :) 

Yes! Yes! the Oriflame Pure Colour Nail Polish Mini range offers 15 beautiful shades namely  Trendy Nude, Pink Crush, Hot Fuschia, Classic Red, Coral Red, Bronze Brown, Mauve Mirage, Midnight Blue, Burgundy Wine, Marine Blue, Serene Green, Intense Pink, Ruby Pink, Peach Pink, Coral Orange.

All the nail paints are contained in tiny glass bottles with black cap. The applicator brush is broad enough to apply nail color in two straight swipes easily. The shade name and number is printed on the label underneath the bottle. The texture of nail paint is not very thick and makes it easy to spread comfortably on nails. I always like the intensity of colour after two coats that gives the perfect opacity. The best part is that it takes bare minimum time to dry up on nails and settle to a pretty glossy finish on nails. Absolutely a relief to restless girls like me :P

Talking about staying power, this range of nail paints are much reliable as they brighten up your hands without losing its shine for good 4-5 days without chipping off. And yes, I'm not using any top coat to lengthen its longevity. Also its pretty easy to rub out the nail color with any liquid nail-paint remover or wipes. 

The Pure Color Mini range comprises of shades which are a mix of bright as well as sober ones. There is one for every mood and for every occasion i.e. Red, Green, Blue and everything in between. One can choose to apply contrasting or matching shades to their outfit or can just choose to be one-of-its kind trendy by creating a quirky nail art with mix-n-match of shades. 

While trying out this range of nail paints in past few weeks, I developed an inclination towards nude, natural shades and I'm loving those more than deep/dark shades ;)  The nail paints have beautiful glossy shine minus any extra dose of glittery shimmer.

Product Info:

I got a ravishing lipstick from SLV in Glossy Pink (Shade 01). The lipsticks at SLV are available in 18 beautiful shades to choose from and are claimed to have vegetarian ingredients. Every single shade seems to be the best lipstick in the town ;) 

Key Ingredients:

Castor Oil, White Bee Wax, Candelilla Wax, Carnauba Wax, Perfume. 

Product Packaging:

The lipstick comes in very humble black outer case. The brand name is printed in seductive font on the lipstick and I loved it. The cap shuts with a click and doesn't get unlocked very easily when its lying in your vanity kit with many other products.

You may find the shade number at the bottom of the lipstick case.

My take on the product:
The Glossy Pink is a very bright shade of pink that resembles fuschia tone a lot. I have been wanting a similar shade for really long since the day I discarded my previous lipstick. So I am quite happy that I got this shade of the lipstick.

The lipstick is easy to glide on lips and offers pretty good color in single swipe. But since I love brighter colors on my lips that enhance my skin tone, so I swiped it twice for deeper color. It has light shimmery effect which you notice after few minutes when the color settles properly on your lips.

You will smell a pleasant scent as you apply the lipstick which is not bothersome to me. I guess no one else would feel uncomfortable with its mild smell.

The SLV lipstick stayed on my lips for quite good number of hours. Infact I can boast of keeping most lipsticks intact of my lips for decent duration. And this one also remained on my lips in its true color for around 4+ hours between multiple intakes of liquids (either water or tea), though it transerred light stains on my cup. 

There is no dry feel on my lips post application, rather I liked its initially creamy and semi-matte kinda effect after a few minutes.

The lipstick color complimented my skin tone very well and I genuinely got compliments for looking fresh like a morning flower ;)

Pros:

Decently priced.
Beautiful 18 shades available.
Vegetarian ingredients.
Enriched with Castor Oil.
Stays on for decent time.
Smooth to glide on lips.

Cons:
I wish the shade name should be mentioned along with the shade number for exact identification.

Maybelline ColorShow Devil Wears Purple Nailpaint Review

Hey Beauties !

                The one thing that I had been dying to own since soooo long was Maybelline Color Show Nail Paint. I had been hearing so good about them from my friends and had seen such fab pics that I always wanted to add those in my vanity kit.

                Finally I got lucky to get the Devil Wears Purple shade from Color Show range of Maybelline nailpaints, which I'm reviewing today...

 Packaging: The Devil Wears Purple is packaged in a transparent glass bottle capable to show the nail color properly with a black cap of the same diameter of the bottle, that makes it very comfortable to hold. The easy-flow applicator brush ensures flawless n fuss-free application of nail lacquer.
The shade number is mentioned on the top of the cap that can be seen in the very first glance, unlike most brands writing it either at the bottom of the bottle or somewhere in product description. :)

Its priced at very decent Rs. 75 for Net Qty of 6 ml that can last for a Shelf Life of 36 months :)

My Experience : Devil Wears Purple 012 as the name suggests is a Purple Colour nailpaint with a hint of light silver shimmer. My initial thought was like its not my kind of color, but since it belonged to my fav ColorShow range which I was curious to try, I dared to apply it atleast once. ;)

In the first fine coat only, the shade looked suitable to my skin tone and I was more n more  captivated by its  allure the very moment. :)

 The nail paint actually 'showed its real color' after applying double coats as the glossy effect is sooo babelicious.

Adoring n admiring this pretty purple polish on my nails, I was thinking about for how long would it stay intact, coz I wash my hands uncountable number of times a day during all household chores. And I'm pleased to share with you that even after three ccomplete days, the nail paint is still in its impressive sheen on my nails, only minor chipping off is noticed on the edges of nails.

Pros:

Overall Thoughts: Devil Wears Purple lets you make a statement by keeping aside the myth of applying usual Indianized shades on your nails and brings in the supressed confidence in you to 'explore the unexplored' in the world of Fashion :)
