Prevent & Remove Hair Dandruff Using Moha Herbal Anti Dandruff Shampoo - Product Review

Controlling the adamant dandruff is already a taxing task for many of us, and the rainy season escalates the issue when you intentionally or accidentally get drenched in rain water. Ofcourse, rain dance is great fun, but not at the cost of harming our precious locks. So to help control dandruff, the key is to use an effective anti-dandruff shampoo specially formulated with active ingredients that can strengthen the hair roots and reduce scaly scalp laden with dandruff. One such product that worked well for the purpose is Moha Herbal Anti Dandruff Shampoo.
Product Claims:
My hair are not dandruff-prone usually, but few winter months and an interaction with rain water infects the scalp and produce dandruff. I make a point to pick a mild cleanser for my hair that is formulated with precious herbs. Moha's anti-dandruff shampoo is a powerful blend of Neem, Hibiscus and Tea Tee Oil. Neem helps to cure the dandruff due to its anti fungal properties and targets the issues like flaky, itchy scalp.

Tea Tree oil is a great ingredient to fight against fungus. It moisturizes the scalp and hair and helps to control dandruff. I remember myself mixing few drops of tea tree oil in my shampoo almost an year ago and it was extremely effective in relieving mild dandruff that I had. It's more convenient now to use a shampoo that is already infused with tea tree oil.

The pretty hibiscus flower extract induces hair growth and leaves silky shine to hair. The amazing amalgamation of all these herbs make this shampoo a well though-off composition. When I apply it on my hair, I make sure to massage it on my scalp with finger tips and leave the shampoo on for 2-3 minutes before rinsing it off. Depending on the condition of my scalp, these days I'm washing my hair with this shampoo every second or third day.

An important aspect to avoid dandruff is to apply conditioner to the hair ends and not on the scalp, else it may increase dandruff. Also not applying the conditioner on to the scalp gives better volume to hair.

Color, Texture & Smell:
Brownish golden color, herbal smell that is not overpowering and thin consistency.
Detailed Ingredients List:
Price & Qty: Rs. 125 for 100 ml

Overall, I feel Moha's anti dandruff shampoo is a mild hair cleanser that doesn't leave your hair dry and greatly reduces dandruff if used in proper manner. Finally, watch your diet to prevent arrival of dandruff and your hair may swing happily in monsoon!

Monsoon Hair Care With Moha Herbal Shampoo & Conditioner

Joyful rainy season and painful hair woes..what a tragic contrast :(
My hair have been screaming since months and truly gave me nightmares because of weather-induced problems... and since I love my crowing beauty so so much, I knew its the time to integrate wonder herbs in my hair care routine.

I tried the Moha Herbal Shampoo and Conditioner combo for three weeks with almost ten washes in this duration and felt relieved..
Moha Herbal Shampoo to wash away the impurities and pollutants your hair is subjected to every day. A revitalizing mix of Amla, Aloe, Brahmi and Bhringaraj, this shampoo reduces hair loss, cooling your scalp as it stimulates growth from the follicles.

Shelf Life: 2 yrs for both.
Moha Herbal Shampoo is a clear liquid of runny consistency. It smells very light (almost seems fragrance free), so people who prefer zero fragrance personal care products are surely in for it. Usually my hair are not so problematic all the year long, but I surely need to treat them more patiently with more frequent massages and washes during humid weather to avoid that sticky feel on my scalp. I've been using this shampoo twice a week for a couple of weeks now. The shampoo cleans the hair very well without stripping hair of moisture. The scalp doesn't feel any stingy sensation on application and causes no irritation or scratching after rinsing it off. Using the product regularly has made my hair much more manageable and shining in better health. It makes my hair real soft and smooth.
For flaunting luxurious locks, one should nourish them with a suitable conditioner as per hair type. Since I had got the Moha Herbal conditioner that also has Aloe as main ingredient, I use it paired with the shampoo. The conditioner looks delicious. The texture and consistency of conditioner makes it easy to massage onto hair shaft evenly. It has sweet fragrance that doesn't last very long, but give a fresh feel to otherwise messy and sweaty hair. The dry, frizzy hair are easily tamed using this product and it gives nice volume to hair.
The best part about this shampoo-conditioner combo is its non-harsh effect on scalp and hair. It has controlled my flyaways to a great degree. The functionality and affordability of the products is absolutely wannable for most of us. I would recommend these as a good fix for your troubled hair.

Moha Herbal Shower Gel Review

A natural body cleanser made of plant extracts would always be my preference over a wealth of chemical product available in the market. Whenever I'm given a chance to test such herbal products, I feel naturally spirited to try and share my opinion.
One of the name that is directly synonymous to herbal products and is actually loved by me is Charak Pharma. I've used and reviewed many of their products being offered under the name of Moha and now when they added few more into their kitty, I couldn't resist giving them a try.
Today, I'll review Moha Herbal Shower Gel.
Product Info:
Moha Herbal Shower Gel takes gentle care of your skin with the detoxifying action of Aloe. The antifungal and antiseptic properties of Neem and Tea Tree help to reduce blackheads and pimples. Orange Peel provides a generous dose of Vitamin C, leaving skin soft and supple.
Price: Rs. 105 for 100 ml Order here
Shelf Life: 2 yrs.
Moha Herbal Shower Gel comes in a small sized bottle that has leafy prints on it and indicates the active ingredients used in making the product. The bottle is made of quite sturdy plastic.
The flip open cap is tight while locked. So no chance of spillage and you may carry it around without any worries. The bottle is placed in an outer cardboard box that has same print as of bottle and all required information too.
There is a small leaflet in the box that will elaborate the purpose and effects of key ingredients.
Moha Herbal Shower Gel is a exotic blend of tea tree oil, neem and orange peel that brings uplifting citrus scent to shower. Its light orange in color, but is not of gel-like consistency. It tends to be runny on your palm.
A coin sized liquid on the wet loofah suffices to originate zesty foam for cleansing of entire body. So a little goes a long way to create a luxurious foaming experience under the shower. After nearly a week of daily use, I noticed that it caused my skin not to dry out and flake; rather my skin enjoys a smooth extravagant feel after I rinse it off.

After a humid, sweaty day, an evening shower with Moha shower gel rejuvenates the dullness of my skin as well as mood and relaxes me deeply. My mom-in-law who is somewhat picky for bath and body products exclaims this shower gel to be gentle and non-irritating on her skin. It removes all types of skin impurities including pollutants and excess oil to leave skin toned and conditioned.

For just Rs. 105, its a real bargain for a high quality natural product that is not tested on animals and is free of preservatives. Recommended to try (y)

Moha Anti Dandruff Oil Review

Hello Everyone

Lately I have been writing about Moha's products and seriously am fallen in love with each of them. They have not only formulated products for all our needs, but have kept the prices so affordable that you may buy any product without thinking much. Today I'll talk about an hair oil that is must-have for most of us to control and cure dandruff specially in winter season.

Product Info:
Get soft, shiny, healthy hair with Moha non- sticky Anti Dandruff Oil. A delightful infusion of Neem, Hibiscus and Rusmari Oils, it effectively fights dandruff while nourishing hair naturally strengthening the roots and preventing split ends.
Ingredients:
Tea tree (Melaleuca leucadendron) oil prevents dandruff and scalp dryness.
Rusmari (Rosmarinus officinalis) oil nourishes hair roots and promotes hair health.
Neem (Melia azadirachta) oil controls scalp itching.
Water Lily (Nymphea stellata) oil makes hair soft & manageable with its conditioning effect.
Hibiscus (Hibiscus-rosa sinensis) oil powerful time-test hair tonic and promotes hair shine.
How to use:
Apply oil gently on the scalp. Massage in circular motion to absorb oil in the scalp. Use it regularly and allow it to work for half an hour for effective dandruff control and hair nourishment.

Price: Rs 105 for a 100 ml pack.
Shelf Life: 2 years
Packaging:
The packaging of the anti-dandruff hair oil is similar to Moha's body lotion with a different print on the bottle. I find it quite comfortable to take out the oil from spritz bottle. The outer cap on the bottle is very tight and makes the bottle travel-friendly. The bottle is packed in a cardboard carton.
My take on the product:
My scalp remains clear all the year long except the winter months as I have to take head bath in warm water. I can't dare to use fresh water for washing my hair as I easily get caught by cough n cold, so lukewarm water is my only choice and then it causes dandruff. So its the appropriate time that I started using Moha's anti-dandruff oil.
The oil seems a clear liquid though shows some light green color at times when you pour it on your palm. You guys can look at the pic above n decide the actual color ;)

The oil has a good fragrance that we expect from a nice infusion of herbs in an oil and I liked it. It may not be liked by people who avoid herbal aromas. The texture of the oil is light enough to make my scalp moist and not over-greasy. I genuinely felt relieved from itchy scalp after I used this oil that was troubling me for last few weeks.

Whenever I apply any hair oil, I try to leave it on my hair and scalp overnight. So my preferred day to oil my hair is Saturday. And I follow my custom with this oil as well. Post head bath, it leaves the hair quite manageable and easy to detangle. The flaky scalp becomes considerably healthy after few uses.
The oil also claims to cure fungal infection on the scalp for which I am unable to comment as I haven't faced any such issue ever.
But since this pretty affordable oil comes fortified from herbal oils like tea tree oil, hibiscus oil, neem oil etc that are meant for controlling dandruff, it is much needed to providing nutrition to the scalp. I ensure regular weekly massage before shampooing my hair to strengthen the roots of my hair.

Pros:
Very Economical.
Controls flaky dandruff.
Relieves scalp itching and dryness.
Adds shine and lustre to hair.
Quite aromatic.
Light and Non-greasy.
Travel friendly packaging.

Cons:
None.

Nail Care Regimen With Moha Nail Care Cream

Till date, I have reviewed many products from the product line of Moha and I swear each and every product is as efficient as the other. Today I have yet another exclusive product to talk about i.e. Moha Nail Care Cream.

Discover shiny, nourished nails with Moha Nail Care Cream. Formulated with natural ingredients like Flaxseed and Almond Oils, it softens cuticles, reduces brittleness and encourages healthy nails.

Almond (Prunus amygdalus) oil softens and smoothens extremely chapped nails.
Flax (Linum usitatissimum) oil nourishes & strengthens dry or brittle nails, preventing them from cracking, and also promoting healthy nail.

How to use :
Trim your nails when they get too long. Clean your nails and remove stains.
Dip your fingernails in lukewarm olive oil just for 15-20 minutes on every alternate day.
Massage your nails.Use a cotton ball dipped in fresh lemon juice and clean your nails.
Apply on pre-cleaned nail and nail base. Massage gently till the cream is absorbed. Preferably use at bedtime.
Price: Rs. 148
Pack Size: 100 gm
Available here
Packaging:
The cream comes in identical packaging as that of Moha Foot Care Cream. Its a plastic tube, quite handy and made of good quality material. It has a flip-open cap that makes the pack easy to use.
My experience with the product:
There have been some requests from my readers lately that they need to have a recommendation on some product that can work on weak, dry and brittle nails effectively. Since I didn't use one that time, I was literally clueless. But I am happy that I got to try this Moha Nail Care Cream that is the answer of all those problems.
The cream is off white in color and nicely concentrated. It smells too good for a nail cream. I am sure you will like it a lot. It takes only a little quantity as low as a pea size to apply on your nail of one hand or foot. A gentle rubbing on the nail gets the cream easily do its job. Make sure you pre-clean your nails before your apply the cream. The dry and hard cuticles gets softer if you use it everyday. I would suggest that you may use it more often if your nails have a tendency of peeling, cracking or getting rough.
The brand recommends it to be used at the bedtime for retaining moisture overnight, but there is one other way that I used it... Those who indulge themselves in home pedicure sessions, can just apply the cream on their nail, leave it without massage and soak your feet in lukewarm water for few minutes. I tell you it would be so easy to  get salon like results. Don't think twice if you have applied nailcolor and are hesitating removing it just to apply this cream. I feel it gives atleast some soothing relief to nail even then (though may be a little less). The cream is formulated with natural ingredients like almond oil and flaxseed oil that in long run help your nails resist splits, peels and breaks plus give a nourished shine to nails.

Pros:
Strengthens brittle and cracking nails
Softens cuticles
Moisturizes and nourishes the nails.
Encourages healthy nail growth.
Make the nails shiny
Made of natural ingredients.
Cost effective.

Cons:
Nothing

Overall, Moha Nail Care Cream is a budget friendly option to repair and condition cuticles of your nails thereby improving the beauty of your nails :)

Moha Foot Care Cream Review

The skin of our feet has no oil glands, so unlike the other parts of our body, our feet tend to remain naturally dry. Now depending on skin type, people may have dryness on feet on regular or occasional basis. Mine falls in first category. As I mentioned in my foot care regimen in an earlier post that I can never miss moisturizing my feet irrespective of weather. So I always keep some good foot care products in stock..This time I tried a new foot care cream from Moha and today's post goes for the review of the same.
Product Info:
Papaya and Aloe join hands to give your feet the soft texture you crave with Moha’s luxurious Foot Care Cream. This luscious, creamy formula soothes away calluses and cracks, leaving your feet smooth and soft.
How to use?
Wash feet with lukewarm water and pat dry. Massage gently from toe to ankle till the cream is absorbed. Preferably use at bedtime.

Price: Rs. 163/-. Available here
Qty: 100 gm
Ingredients:
Aloe barbadensis (Aloe vera) offers high soothing, moisturizing & nourishing properties. It improves your skin’s ability to hydrate itself, aids in the removal of dead skin cells.
Papaya (Carica papaya) promotes skin renewal and cell turnover. It helps in exfoliating the skin to reveal newer cells, and has restorative properties that soften your skin.
Peppermint (Mentha piperata) oil nourishes & improves the circulation of blood to your feet and leaves behind a soothing, cooling effect.
Packaging:
The Moha foot cream comes in a beautifully printed tube that has the ingredients depicted on it like water color painting. The tube is a flip-open kind of pack that is easy to use.
My experience:
My feet thank me for taking good care of them and not let them crack. What I mean to say is my feet are saved from any severe cracks, but yes there are minor ones that are visible only when I walk barefoot for some time and they get dirty. I don't want the problem to be worsen, moreover I am more concerned about using a foot cream as a foot softener to help myself relieve from dry n itchy soles.

The Moha foot cream is of off-white color. The smell is something to point out firstly. It has a minty fragrance that is prominently kept to make your sweaty feet smell nice. Some may find the fragrance on a stronger side, but its not unbearable. The cream is thick enough that upon application I feel instant relief.
I prefer applying it before bedtime on my clean feet since I wear open, uncovered flats all day long and I fear it attracting more dirt onto my feet if applied after morning bath. But its not too greasy to be able to apply in the daytime if you want to. The cream doesn't do overnight miracles, but renders smooth skin and controlled cracks by a continual process. The thick and hard skin around the heels gets softer with lasting moisturization after the absorption of the cream. The texture of the cream won't leave the skin shiny or oily at all.

Thanks to an efficacious combination of emollients and exfoliants like papaya and mint that help to get rid of dead skin cells as well. Infact, I am using a foot cream for the first time that boasts of goodness of papaya in it :) I'm happy that I found it and it cared for my feet's good health.

Pros:
Softens, soothes and protects foot skin from getting rough and damaged.
Heals cracked and chapped heels with prolonged application.
Deeply nourishes, moisturizes and repairs skin.
Smells good.
Pretty packaging.
Infused with great emollients and exfoliants.
Decently priced.

Cons:
Nothing
