Herboveda Hair Care Products Review

Switching shampoos after a few weeks is recommended for everyone by many beauty enthusiasts and I definitely follow this recommendation. Be informed that it doesn't cause hair fall or any other issues, just make sure you choose products that lead to healthier hair and scalp.

Today, I'm sharing my views on Herboveda's Anti-Hairfall Hair Oil and Shampoo that my family is using for past few weeks.
Anti-Hairfall Oil With Olive And Rosemary Oil
This premium hair oil contains essential oils which are proven to prevent hair fall and stimulate hair growth. Rich in Almond and Olive oil, it provides full protection from UV rays & harmful radiations of the sun. It contains orange, lavender, rosemary and chamomile blended with the goodness of palmarosa oil that gives longer hair full of life. With no added perfume or paraffin this hair oil is a herbal cure for all your hair problems.
This oil is an infusion of plenty of essential oils, all added to provide nourishment to your hair. Rosemary oil benefits your hair by trating dandruff and relieves common hair care issues like flaky scalp. Lavender Oil is used to soothe the scalp and stimulates growth. Almond oil is well known for containing healthy ingredients for hair like Omega-3 fatty acids that strengthens hair and has also got conditioning properties.
The oil is not thick in consistency and gets absorbed properly when massaged onto hair. It's recommended to keep the oil overnight and wash it off the next morning. The fragrance of the oil is certainly not-so-mild and may be overpowering for some, but for me it's stress-buster and like a natural remedy to cure a bad headache after a hectic day at work. The positive results of the oil might be noticed after a continuous use of atleast two consective months.
The 100ml bottle of this oil is priced at Rs. 399 which is bit expensive, but worth the price if suits your hair and brings results.

Hairfall Control Shampoo with Bhringraj And Jatamansai
This is a formula fortified with  Bhringraj And Jatamansai herbal extracts that help in strngthening the hair from roots. It also contains D-panthenol with Hydrolyzed Keratin. It treats hair that have been damaged due to perming, chemical straightening, bleaching or environmental stress. Finally it makes the hair stronger and prevents hair fall.
The shampoo is of golden yellow color and has medium consistency. A dime sized shampoo lathers well and does it work to cleanse your hair off all the dirt, oilyness and pollutants. But if you use it on oiled hair, it would require shampooing your hair twice for effectively taking out the oil. The shampoo doesn't dry my hair, but the frizz is somewhat not controlled.
The shampoo has herbal fragrance that is not bothersome and doesn't last for long after a headbath. Once my hair dry, it looks lusturous and is easily manageable. I'm neutral to the claims of the shampoo to reduce hair fall as it has neither increased nor reduced the issue. The ingredients list on the shampoo bottle mentions SLES, Paraben Sodium which disappointed me to certain extent as I prefer using SLS-free products. Despite having many herb extracts like, Amla fruit, Jatamansi, Brahmi, Reetha, Aloe Vera etc, I probably won't be recommending this product :(
The shampoo is yet to be placed on the brand website. I'll be updating the Buying Link as soon as it's available.

Discover Gentle Care for Dry Hair

A gentle cleanser for your hair that can achieve benefits like moisturizing the hair and scalp while condioning it, that's simply the best pick. I'm a true Coconut Oil loyalist, because for hair it's an all-natural way to keep both hair and scalp healthy.
Since past few weeks, I've been using Oriflame's Love Nature Hair Care combo that was recently launched with Wheat & Coconut Oil as star ingredients. Looking at the key ingredients, there was no denying to test these right from the first intro.
The combo has got 4 products - shampoo, conditioner, hair oil and hot oil.

A good hair care regimen certainly begins with a nourishing hair oil. I trust goodness of coconut hair oil with all my heart. The Love Nature Coconut Oil penetrates to the hair roots when massaged in light strokes and nourishes hair from scalp to tip. It heals dry split ends and repairs damaged hair on prolonged usage. Coconut oil contains healthy fatty acids and vitamin E that help in hair growth. You may even add a few drops of some essential oils in it to make it even healthier. I also love to heat the oil a bit and enjoy warm oil massage over the weekends. It's an effective fatigue-reliever for me. In winters, this oil tends to freeze, so has to be melted to use.
Love Nature Wheat & Coconut Shampoo is primarily meant for Dry Hair. My hair turn drier during colder days, so thought to switch from my previous shampoo. It's a thick formula in off-white colour with a tint of brown. I apply the shampoo generously to wet hair, massage into a lather through the ends, then rinse the hair thoroughly with lukewarm water. The shampoo effectively removes buildup without stripping hair. The easiest way to enjoy the benefits of coconut oil for hair growth is by using a coconut oil shampoo that contains hair growth promoting oil.
After shampooing, I always follow with conditioner. And it's great to have a conditioner formulated on the same ingredients that when used in conjunction with other products will offer best results.  Love Nature Wheat & Coconut Conditioner is a smooth yet thick product and is slightly lighter than the shampoo in colour. It's as easy as applying on rinsed hair after shampoo and then again washing your hair after 2-3 minutes. It helps hair to retain moisture and makes an excellent deep conditioner.
The packaging of both the shampoo and conditioner is same with a difference of labeling on the bottles. I somehow loved the shape of bottles which is different from usual.
Last product in this combo that I tried was a tiny little tube of Love Nature Hot Oil. I soaked the tube in hot water and twisted the mechanism on the top to open and take out the oil. The oil is something like a gel that has been melted to thinner consistency. On application, I didn't get the feeling of an having an oil on my scalp that I want an oil should have. It's less greasy than a normal oil, so better should be used as a styling product.
I love the authentic coconut fragrance that all the products in this combo have. Find more about Love Nature Hair Care range with Wheat & Coconut Oil at Oriflame website.

Knowing the benefits of milk and honey, Oriflame has created the indulgent Milk & Honey Gold collection. Offering a wide range of nourishing and rich formulations for your face, hair and body that provide you with the ultimate pampering experience.

In this post, I'll cover hair treatment products that I tried in past weeks...The Milk & Honey Gold hair care range consists of 3 products that all of us would need i.e. Shampoo, Conditioner and Hair Mask.
Check out what each of the products claim to offer -

Milk & Honey Gold Hair Mask (Rs. 549)

As many of you might have apprised already that the key ingredients of this Milk and Honey collection is aied to give intense nourishment to your hair. This collection basically targets to repair the issues or damages caused to normal-to-dry hair. My hair type is normal and it's not very difficult to manage my tresses if I just follow normal cleanse-condition-nourish routine. The only concern that I take care while choosing my hair care products is to pick mild products that do not worsen any existing issues.

Milk & Honey Gold collection sounded quite gentle by its name and I had to give it a shot. The first look at the colour theme of the packaging in ivory & golden resonates the main ingredients. It's looks simple yet classy. The shampoo and conditioner come in tall plastic bottles, while the hair mask comes in a cute round pot that resembles traditional earthen pots of olden times.

I usually massage my hair and scalp with a coconut oil before shampooing which sets the initial step of hair treatment. It not only improves blood ciculation, but also contributes to hair growth rate. I feel so relaxed after a good 'champi' when the oil penetrates deep into scalp. You should choose a hair oil that suits your hair type. For the drier hair, one can prepare a concoction of oils that can treat dryness.

Washing my hair with a mild shampoo is the next step that should cleanse my scalp off all the dirt etc. The milk & honey gold shampoo is not harsh and can be used upto three times a week. This shampoo is light gold in color and has thin consistency but lathers well. The shampoo comes off easily from hair and doesn't leave my scalp itchy after rinse. One should prefer using fresh water or lukewater to take a headbath, depending on the season.
After shampooing, the focus is on nourishing, repairing, softening and volumizing your hair. This job can be done by a good conditioner like Milk n Honey Conditioner. This conditioner is in a thick cream texture of off-white color. It is like a quick fix to manage unruly strands. Just ensure to apply the conditioner in apt quantity, else it may make your hair look bit sticky. This one is rinse-off product, so has to be on hair for a few minutes and washed afterwards. The dry hair would find it really moisturizing capable of offering right amount of smoothness.
The magical product in the process of hair treatment is the hair mask. Milk & Honey Gold Hair Mask is a luxurious creamy product that spreads of hair like a dream. Many pople would think that hair mask is meant for getting glossy, silky hair. But actually it's an effective product to pack all the required nourishment to your hair and scalp. Well! you certainly get that shine and untangled mess as a bonus. The issues like roughness, dryness and frizzyness of hair come under control with an application of suitable hair mask. Just have patience to leave it on hair for few minutes and rinse it off to transform your dream of soft-silky hair into reality.
All three products smell really beautiful. Though the fragrance lasts only for a while time after rinse, but I can smell a quick whiff of fragrance locked in interlaced strands of my plait or bun whenever I open my hair after coming back home from work. Not just my hair look n feel healthy, I feel delighted to have a ultimate product range at my disposal that works well for my hair and lend it great texture.
