Burst of Happyness Eternal Face Serum Review

My skin care regimen has got a new product integrated into it for some time and that is a 'Face Serum'.  I've been eager to try one after reading excellent reviews and got an opportunity to use a herbal blend of nourishing oils aiming at hydrating and revitalizing dryness-prone skin which is also perfect to combat signs of ageing. The product is called Eternal Face Serum by Burst of Happyness.
What is the product made up of?
Apricot kernel oil: Softens and regenerates skin
Jojoba oil: Moisturizes and protects
Argan oil: Restores skin elasticity and helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles
Rosehip oil: Evens skin tones and reduces sun damage
Pumpkin seed oil: Keeps the skin bright and young
Frankincense: Tones skin
Palmarosa: Hydrates and stimulates cell regeneration
How much would it cost?
Rs 480 for 7gm (buy here)
Packaging
The serum comes is a tiny cylindrical glass bottle which has roll-on tip. The bottle has silver screw cap. The serum can directly be rubbed on face by rolling the bottle tip on skin and then using your hand to massage.
My experience with the product:
Burst of Happyness Eternal Face Serum is a golden yellow colored oil that is a blend of natural plant oils and essential oils. It is purely vegan in nature and free of chemicals. Being a roll-on bottle, it ensures no wastage of product. Infact you need not to measure the exact number of drops to be used in single use and can just keep rubbing on your face to give complete coverage. The light-weight formula sinks into my dry skin quickly and feels completely non-sticky. It gives a shine upon application that settles as you massage the serum till deep penetration.
The serum has intense aroma that hits your senses immediately. But its not disturbing or overpowering (I personally quite like it)
The serum functions as lightweight moisturizers that have no thickeners in them rather they boost overall skin health when used morning and evening. I prefer applying it post shower and before bedtime. Remember to layer it up with a good sunscreen in the daytime to avoid sun damage, as the serum's efficacy would double up.
Using a facial serum is not to replace a moisturizer but simply an added step to have the right skin type. Since the serums offer light moisturization, the people with extreme dry skin should continue applying their usual daytime and nighttime moisturizer to replenish skin's hydration. While I noticed good improvement in my skin texture after using it for a month, it will surely make the skin firm, toned and youthful in long term with impressive ingredients. Also I enjoy the instant softness and dampness within the skin every time I use the serum.
In the end, I would suggest to choose a serum addressing your skin concerns and matching your skin type to procure best results. Talking about the herbal compositions by Burst of Happyness, Eternal is loaded with rich plant oils, whereas Divine is another variant for oily+acne prone skin type.
The serum is well concentrated, so a little goes a long way. The 7gm of liquid can serve around 30-40 application, so would last for more than a month of continuous use.

Shelf Life:
12 months of date of manufacture printed on the product pack or 6 months after opening. Can be refrigerated to increase its shelf life.

Burst of Happyness A Wash to Remember Body Scrub Review

Hi

Recently I received some vegan products from Burst of Happyness and it was one of those rarest moments that I started using all of those the very next day (because there was no overlapping of products in same category). Out of the products received, I already wrote about the coconut milk bar and here is another post sharing my views on her natural sugar body scrub called "A Wash to Remember".
Product Info:
This scrub with decadent mango butter and almond oil is true to its name and will become your favourite product in the shower! The oils and butters used are light on the skin but are deeply moisturizing without any greasiness. This product is ideal for use in the morning to keep you fragrant for hours.

Ingredients:In-house soap, brown sugar, oil (almond and grapeseed), raw butters (cocoa and mango), and essential oils (lavender and grapefruit)

Price: Rs 495 for 200 gm order on official site

Shelf Life: The scrub is purely vegan and free from chemicals or preservatives, so its shelf life is lesser than commercial products. Its recommended to use it within 3 months after opening the seal.
Packaging:
The body scrub comes in a broad tin container having screw lid over the top. There is a layer of protective sheet within the lid. The label on the lid of the container prints the product name and the ingredients used. Another label at the bottom of the container makes it evident what the product can do for your skin and how to use it to gain optimum benefit out of it. You may find price and shelf life as well on bottom side label. The scrub in my pack is still under-use, but I would like to reuse this container too just like I utilized the cloth pouch of soap bar ;)

Aroma:
The moment the container opens, you are greeted with such an inviting fragrance to stimulate you even before using the product on you. Talking about the scrub, I would start by forwarding special remarks by my junior who found the appearance of sugar scrub resembling jaggery porridge due to its color and texture ;) {kids are kids, you see}

Color n Texture:
Actually, the coarse grains of demerara sugar (which is a type of unrefined sugar) in golden brown shade truly give the scrub edible look. The scrub that I received is in solid state as per the current temperature, but the consistency may vary with a change in temperature.
Usage Experience:
As mentioned, the scrub is quite dense and solid, I use a clean spoon to scoop out some quantity and screw the lid back to avoid water entering the container. Massaging the scrub in light strokes on the skin starts melting it on skin and it produces velvety lather due to in-house soap used in formula. So you need not use a soap bar afterwards. The skin friendly ingredients gently exfoliates the skin without being abrasive and leave the skin silky smooth after very first use. The raw butter and essential oils lubricates the skin deeply without leaving a greasy sheen over the surface of the skin. The scrub can be used everyday and is also versatile & mild enough to be used as face scrub too.

I'm sure those who try it once would be glad to have found a comprehensive exfoliation treatment for the most delicate organ of our body i.e. our skin without causing it any harms and would definitely utter "It had been a wash to remember" ;)

Burst Of Happyness Coconut Milk Hair & Body Bar Review

Hi Friends

I have been using number of natural, handmade bathing bars since long, but today I've a soap bar that not only cleanses your body skin, but also your hair. Surprised?? Let me introduce to you Coconut Milk Hair & Body Bar from Burst Of Happyness.

For Happy Skin: This bar is good for troubled skin as well as for dry, mature skin. Shea butter is rich in Vitamin E and acts as a natural antioxidant, while jojoba oil’s anti-inflammatory properties help treat acne. Rosemary and cedarwood essential oils liven up dull skin and are also known to be beneficial for eczema and dermatitis. Lavender essential oil is calming and antibacterial in nature.

For Happy Hair: The bar’s blend of rosemary, lavender, and cedarwood essential oils is best for dry and damaged hair but can also be used for normal hair as a weekly treat. Coconut milk moisturizes and helps prevent hair loss, jojoba oil deeply moisturizes and soothes the scalp, and shea butter helps fight dandruff and brings relief to a dry itchy scalp. It also softens hair and has a mild, natural sun protection factor (SPF).
Packaging:
The soap bar is very decently placed in a butter paper envelope which is packed in an eco-friendly cloth pouch. The cloth pouch is tied with a natural string with little note printed with every detail about product. (p.s. I'm already using this pouch to keep my jewelry pieces)

Price: Rs 300 Buy here.
Shelf Life: 12 months
How did the product work for me?
The Coconut Milk Hair & Body Bar is a off white color soap bar. The fact that it can be used as both bathing bar and shampoo bar was the reason that I chose to pick one. I know shampoo bars were much popular before we could rely on liquid shampoos n conditioners, but after decades of using those now, I was frightened that switching to a shampoo bar may create mess with my hair. But considering the qualities like made of all natural ingredients, cruelty free and free of preservatives; I wanted to give it a try.

Unwrapping the soap bar filled the washroom area with splendid fragrance. The soap works up rich, creamy lather on rubbing on wet hair that was actually better than my expectation. Rinsing came quite easy as well. It was interesting while shower that you need not to look for your bathing bar after placing back the shampoo bar since its a dual purpose soap bar. Containing no preservatives ensured no itchy or irritated scalp. Also if men use this shampoo bar every day (unlike women like me who use it less frequently), it neither causes dryness of hair nor does it contribute to hair loss. Its a proven fact that Coconut Milk is one of the best organic hair conditioner, so using this soap bar also lets you apply a conditioner separately.
The soap also feels good on skin in terms of cleansing. Being rich in glycerine and natural oils, it retains adequate amount of moisture in skin. It soothes the irritated skin to some extent and controls bacterial infections too. I expect this purely pampering bar to be your favourite, once incorporated in your bathing routine. Since its a handmade soap bar created without use of hardener like wax etc, its softer and tends to melt bit more than usual commercial soaps. So it is advised to place it on a well-drained soap dish to enjoy it for longer.

In short, the Coconut Milk Hair & Body Bar from BurstOfHappyness is a fabulous handmade soap bar crafted with love and care that it transfers to you in form of nourishment. I'm loving how it worked for me and recommends it to everyone because it equally suits all hair type/hair length or skin types.
