My experience:

All the BloomsBerry hand sanitizers are of gel-like consistency which is thicker than usual sanitizers. As these are waterless sanitizers, just pouring a couple of drops and rubbing between your palms till it gets dry helps to kill the microorganisms present on your skin. The Bursting Beads loaded with vitamins A, E and C floating in the gel in all the variants not only look cute, but melt on your hand giving required moisturization. It doesn't leave your skin dried out and is quite gentle, so can be used by kids. 

Though the product is definitely costing much more than most sanitizers offered by another brands, but it is crafted to be tougher on germs and kills them 9x better than the others. But make sure not to use the sanitizer when your hands are visibly dirty. 

Adding to the benefits of this germ-kill product, I would specially like to mention that my husband is in a practice to use sanitizers for multiple purposes. So would share few tested ones here..

• My hubby who uses spectacles is totally against using the wiping cloth to clean the glasses and doesn't let me use it too. He washes the glasses under running tap water, rubs a drop of hand sanitizer over it and again washes it to get dustfree glasses.
• Also, he cleans the phone screen with a damp paper towel pouring a drop of sanitizer on it and the phone gets disinfected as well.
• For last few days, I've been suffering from some kind of infection on my feet and had been scratching my skin badly. Using few drops of sanitizers genuinely gave me the relief which I could not get after moisturizing my feet enough. 
• Whenever any of my family members gets minor cuts, scratches etc, the sanitizer comes for rescue as the antiseptic first-aid.

Usually I'm not a 'Short Dress' person and prefer styling myself in indo-western outfits that are comfortable as well as classy. I have been using number of natural, handmade bathing bars since long, but today I've a soap bar that not only cleanses your body skin, but also your hair. Surprised?? Let me introduce to you Coconut Milk Hair & Body Bar from Burst Of Happyness.

A luxurious bathing soap that doubles as a shampoo bar for all hair types. Made lovingly with coconut milk, raw shea and unrefined cocoa butter and a generous blend of olive, jojoba, coconut, and castor oils.

For Happy Skin: This bar is good for troubled skin as well as for dry, mature skin. How did the product work for me?

The Coconut Milk Hair & Body Bar is a off white color soap bar. The fact that it can be used as both bathing bar and shampoo bar was the reason that I chose to pick one. I know shampoo bars were much popular before we could rely on liquid shampoos n conditioners, but after decades of using those now, I was frightened that switching to a shampoo bar may create mess with my hair. But considering the qualities like made of all natural ingredients, cruelty free and free of preservatives; I wanted to give it a try.

Unwrapping the soap bar filled the washroom area with splendid fragrance. The soap works up rich, creamy lather on rubbing on wet hair that was actually better than my expectation. Rinsing came quite easy as well. It was interesting while shower that you need not to look for your bathing bar after placing back the shampoo bar since its a dual purpose soap bar. Containing no preservatives ensured no itchy or irritated scalp. Also if men use this shampoo bar every day (unlike women like me who use it less frequently), it neither causes dryness of hair nor does it contribute to hair loss. Its a proven fact that Coconut Milk is one of the best organic hair conditioner, so using this soap bar also lets you apply a conditioner separately. 

The soap also feels good on skin in terms of cleansing. Being rich in glycerine and natural oils, it retains adequate amount of moisture in skin. It soothes the irritated skin to some extent and controls bacterial infections too. I expect this purely pampering bar to be your favourite, once incorporated in your bathing routine. Since its a handmade soap bar created without use of hardener like wax etc, its softer and tends to melt bit more than usual commercial soaps. So it is advised to place it on a well-drained soap dish to enjoy it for longer.

BBlunt Climate Control Anti-Frizz Leave-In Cream Review

Pleasant surprises are always welcome whatever size they are of ;) Just like this tall black beauty that came in my mail some time ago without any prior intimation by the brand. This being my first ever product from the famous brand, I literally felt elated for this gesture by team BBlunt to surprise me with this bottle of Climate Control Anti-Frizz Leave-In Cream.

Product Claims:
This versatile cream ensures your hair looks great, however hot, dry or humid it gets out there. It enhances natural movement, smoothens and leaves you in charge, whatever the weather. Specially created for Indian hair. Protects from the environment and heat styling damage.

Ingredients

Hydrolyzed Keratin, Quinoa – the protein with 8 essential amino acids & Provitamin B5

How to use: 

Works best on damp, towel dried hair. Take a small quantity into your palms. Apply evenly, focusing on mid-lengths & ends, keeping away from the scalp. Style as desired.

Net content: 150 ml

My perspective:

The octagon shaped tall black bottle impressed me with its elegant design firstly. Unlike many pump dispenser packaging of beauty products, this one doesn't have any top cap to cover the nozzle. It made me unhappy initially imagining the bottle can't be considered travel-friendly. But after a closer look only, I realized that its a latched bottle that simply means we can rotate the top part clockwise and anti-clockwise to open and close the disperse nozzle. So you may relax keeping the locked bottle in your travel kit without worries of leakage etc. 

The product itself is in milky white color with moderately thick consistency. The pump functions smoothly to eject the product and you may take out the quantity depending on your hair length. As recommended by the brand, I used it on my damp hair after towel drying post shampooing. Starting from the mid-length of tresses reaching towards ends, I skipped rubbing the product on the scalp as suggested.  

I could hardly make out its effect while my hair still had moisture. But it smelled pretty refreshing. The perfume stays for good time of few hours and then disappears. 

Considering this leave-in cream a good substitute of conditioner, I'm using this cream directly after shampoo and it effectively tames the frizz to great extent while controlling roughness. Since the product is working really nice on my hair, but I 'm limiting its use to once a week due to some chemicals it has (wish these could be minused from the formula). 

I also cannot claim how can this product save my hair from damage caused by heat styling. But for me, its really a less-frequent affair to get my hair styled using blog drying, so it actually doesn't make me any difference. 

The BBLUNT Climate Control Anti-Frizz Leave-In Cream has comforted the task of styling my long, straight, wavy hair into different hairdos. I tried few hair styles, but not sharing those pics here as I'm yet to master them ;)

NELFusa Trendy Diva Royal Pink Lipstick Review (TD-29)

NELF cosmetics is one of the most pocket friendly amongst its rivals and intends to sell its products at low prices especially for the beautiful teens. Working well on this philosophy, the brand has taken over the cosmetic industry with quality products for prettifying ladies' nail, eyes, lips and face. Whatever products I have tried till now are extremely good specially their Velvet Touch Lipsticks and Nail Enamels. Today is the day for their Trendy Diva range of lipsticks which I got in shade Royal Pink :) 

The packaging of this lipstick is more convenient in the sense that one could see the shade from a sealed pack because the top side of the cap has transparent opening instead of all covered (as seen in pic above). The rest of the body of packaging is black in color with shiny silver fonts. The bottom label of the lipstick clearly mentions shade name and number. But unlike the Velvet Touch lipstick, it doesn't mention the price anywhere.

My take on the product:
My first glimpse of this Royal Pink lipstick was a shocking one (just like the tagline for this range says "Time for a Color Shock Therapy !") because this shade is not something that I appreciate much for my skin tone and so was quite skeptical to give it a try honestly. It took me really few days to recover from this shocking first look and I dared to swipe it on my lips.

The lipstick is decently pigmented but gives an impressive opaque color only after built up in 2-3 swipes. The pink color of the lipstick shows somewhat eye-catching neon when swatched on my forearm, but turned out to be much better on my lips.

The lipstick has non-irritating subtle fragrance. Loaded with Vitamin E minus lead content gives the moisturizing feel to lips. It stays for 3-4 hours with slight glossy finish. With all its features, I would say Trendy Diva lipstick range at a nominal price of Rs 120 each is must try. Though the Royal Pink color may not look like not compliment dusky skin tones, but can create dramatic look for trendy Diva in you when your define your lips with a darker liner or wear the lipstick with complimenting outfits...anyways, there is wide variety of shades available to try.

Both the soaps excited me a lot for being something different than usual fragrances I get to try. The soaps are packed in double layer of transparent sheet with ingredients list labelled on them. The original color of the spices have lent the shade to soaps. Cardamom soap is on darkest tone of brown while Cinnamon soap is midtone of brown.

Weighing in 125 gm and priced at Rs 150 each, the soaps are good to go for almost one complete month. The soaps have creamy soft texture as you hold it as well as on application. At times I feel its shape would disfigure if held tightly in my hand. The only care to be taken with these soaps is to avoid these from getting wet while resting on soapdish and not being used, because they have a tendency of melting down easily. Its not only the alluring fragrance of the soaps that makes these so attractive, but their post-usage effects are absolutely admirable.

Cinnamon soap used in the shower works as one of the best stimulant. Extended use of the cinnamon soap helps reduce the stress level with its warm invigorating spa-like aroma. The soap has anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties, so can treat the mild skin irritation and inflammation. On the other hand, Cardamom soap works up as a gentle exfoliant to render smooth texture to skin. The utterly irresistible fragrance of the cardamom improves circulation and uplifts the mood. Both the soaps are ideal for all skin types and are made with the highest quality organic ingredients to nourish and remove unhealthy toxins.
